Okay, so i am at wrok today........
And there is a GM meeting so i ahev to run the store..........NO BIG DEAL!
I do it any day that the GM is not there.

The meeting for all GMs in our area is at our store.........
the meeting is for a new Menu rollout and they touch on some other subjects.

As i am closing the store, i am in the office and one of the Gms come in to copy a paper one for each in the group...she ask how to do it and i show her.
She take out one of the papers to look at it, and comments on the apaper with....... WOW this is a really AWESOME tool Will( my GM) has here that he is using. And he is willing to share it with all of us. We are going to take it back to our store and implement this.

She slyly says.....did will really come up with this? And she turns the paper so i can glance at it and it is our check out sheet ....which contains a long list of items each closer(3 positions) has to do before able to leave.
I MADE UP THIS PAPER! THIS AWESOME TOOL! THIS TOOL THAT MY GM HAS NOW SHARED WITH EVERYONE WITH CREDIT TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so shocked i just say yeah and keep doingmy stuff........But i am shocked and cant believe what he has done??????????

that was done becasue when i came to him as an AM i felt i could nt do a good close without something like this......I had to almost fight to get him to accept and use it.

NOW IT IS HIS AND HE HAS GOTTEN CREDIT FOR MAKIGN IT UP FOR OUR WHOLE AREA AND OUR DM AND RM!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

Well Dizzi that's horrible! What would happen if you spoke up and took credit for it now? Whatever you decide, I think I'd find a way to put my name on anything else I created at work from now on, if I were you! But it sounds like the GM who was photcopying knew the difference - maybe this guy is known for doing this - or they already recognize what you are capable of!

As for excursions, Xcaret is a kind of waterpark - but it's a day long excursion, which would leave no time for exploring the port. I'd love to visit the ruins, but most of them involve 1 - 2 hours to get there - that would be a nightmare with the kids. They'd love anything with water, so may just do beach things on our own. For those of you who mentioned parasailing at Castaway Cay - we did that last time and it was AWESOME!! Oh well, will decide eventually.

Myself, my two children ages 6 and 8, my mother, my children's godmother, and her grandson will all be going on the October 25 Costa Maya cruise. This is my 3rd cruise, my mother and my childrens' second cruise, and everyone elses first Disney Cruise. I am sooo excited to show them all the fun things to do onboard. This is my first Western Caribbean cruise and I am hoping to get to tour the ruins. We will see how that turns out. The kids are still too small to walk that far, but their Godmother may watch them while I go do the excursion. I would love to meet some of the other people on this cruise. Maybe we can set up a meeting place one day so we can all have a drink or something. Oh and by the way, I am losing weight for the cruise and have already lost 34 pounds! I am determined to wear a bikini this year!!!

Group CHat went well tonight!! Had about five people on, then I ran off to get the baby to sleep, came back and everyone was gone!!

...The ship is not so big that you get lost and everyone always seems so happy.

I still can't find my way around! I have been on three cruises - on the wonder I had staterooms 6600 & 6608 and then on the magic I had stateroom 6608 - I have been trying to keep the same room so that I can figure my way around - of course - I always end up where I need to be - just sometimes I take a more scenic route . . .
