Not been on here in ages so just popping in to say "HI"
The weeks seem to be flying by now....Can't wait 'till October!
We are off for a quick 'Disney' fix in Feb(8/9th) to Disneyland Paris
Its just me & DH going for a romantic break so I'm very excited--DH wanted to just go to Paris but I got my own way & we are off to Disney!!
we will visit Paris whilst we're there though but I just HAD to go see Mickey & Co!!

Hope everyone here is ok...will let you know how Paris goes!

I put a perm in my hair and straitened after wards...........

hated it.

Now i think i am going to go tothe salon and get soemthing done to it this evening.

So i have gotten NOTHING done on my day off except the living room cleaned upa bit.

i must hurry through the house so it looks like i have doen soemthing!!!!!!

My wish is to move somewhere close to Orlando. My DH can take a transfer to another plant in Auburndale. I am a nurse so there are lots of opportunities in that area. I have family over by Deland too. Floyd always wanted to work at WDW and he has the personality for it too. He would be an excellant bus driver. I have been looking at houses around Davenport but we need to fix our house up here first before we sell it. My son has not decided if he will move with us or stay here. I would prefer he move with us but get a job and his own place. He should be out of college by then with who knows what type of degree.He has switched majors more time than underwear

A bad day keeps getting worse....

Bad news from the hospital about dad (too long to get into) and then to come home to find someone stole my Mickey Mouse trailer hitch cover off my Suburban! I thought maybe a friend was playing a joke but just talked with him and he didn't do it!

I'm crushed because they don't make this one anymore and I was hanging onto it for as long as I could!

Oh, Dizzi, I just got my hair cut a week ago. It was really long (1/2 way down my back) so I just wanted it "cleaned up" (cut split ends, etc.) by taking off the last three inches (even showed her where I wanted the new ends to land) and she ended up cutting over 8 inches off!!! It doesn't even touch my shoulders now! So, at least your hair is fixable....got to see the positive in everything! We want to see pictures, please!!

I never like a perm!!
I just wanted a little body HA

i got a head full of curls then i straitened it.

But just back from the salon and it isnt too bad actually!

i got it cut in one of thsoe a bit longer in the front short in the back things and i like it enough that i will not do anything to it for a month or so!!!!!!

But DH knew i was having a bad day.............SOOOOOOOOOO

he brought home a HUGE BOX said he was saving it for a day like today!!!

IT had 4 fleece blankets in it from DISNEY WEBSITE! and a PURSE, the PURSE is AWESOME, it has MM on it all over and mickey heads and a cute metal MICKEY HEAD thing in the center....oh it is adorable!!!!!
All done in browns.........VERY CLASSY!!!!

he is a great GUY!!!!!!!

Now he is at the grocery store getting dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh suziemva, it is so bad when people steal things. Have had it happen so much in my neighborhood that I stopped putting out christmas decorations.Got tired of replacing bulbs and strings of lights. 2 years ago I put out a square snowman. It lasted about 36 hours. I decided no more! Our whole block was dark this past holiday season.

I hope things get better with your Dad. I lost mine 10 years ago to cancer and I still miss him every day.

dizzi, I feel your pain. Every few years I decide to get a perm even though I know I will regret it. I always think that this time it will be wonderful but then it always looks the same. I don't like to spend tme on my hair and after I perm it I end up swearing at my hair in the mirror as I stand there working on it.
Your DH sounds sweet. Is he willing to give a seminar on the ship to other husbands? I would be willing to send mine to it.

Hello again! Suziemva what kind of trailer hitch cover did you have? I have one on my Trailblazer that I bought online from the Disney Store. I also bought an extra to have as a spare when they went on sale last year. Maybe it's the same as what was stolen from you.

Sorry I have been absent for a while but I am spending most of my time at the hospice with my Dad who is very poorly now. I am not going to dwell on it on this thread as this is a happy cruise thread, but I just can't really think about the cruise just now (although the thought of the cruise is keeping me going on really bad days - at least we have something positive for the family to focus on in the future). I am sorry that you are also going through difficult times with your Dad, Suzie

Hey dizzi, I know how you feel. Many a times I had to do 16 hour shifts at the hospital. Today was different. We only had 8 patients so I got to stay home all day because we had too much staff.Spent the day reading and relaxing.

Well it does not look like i will accomplish my goal of my living room being done by jan 31st. But i will wrok hard tomorrow to get as much done as i can.
My last day off before the end of the month,

Then my next 2 days are off i will be at a cheer comp in Georgia!

DH said he would be glad to give a class in BS'ing the Wife!!!!!

hope you all had a nice weekend ,I had to work , myself and DM and DS went shopping yesterday ,never been shopping on a Sunday here before
had to get something new to wear as we are going to a dinner dance tomorrow night
Found a new countdown ticker ,but it is saying 9 months and 1 day untill the 25th Oct , everyone lesses is saying 8 months 3 weeks and 6 days
going to leave it up for a while to see what happens
