HELP! I just got a new laptop and haven't loaded everything over and now I can't find the private website for the cruise! Can someone PM me the info again!!!

Kim.......To post a picture you first have to load them onto another board...i think most people here use PHOTOBUCKET........Maybe you will figure it out before the next 10 months......it took me watching Dh several times before i figured it out!

if i remember correctly, it was only a couple weeks before the last cruise when some fellow Dissers were saying they got there room #.

Was this a childs BDAY PARTY or some DISNEY fanatics? what prompted such a GREAT party???????? Will you be using any of the costumes for HALLOWEEN? or i am sure you will use the Jack Sparrow for Pirate night !

HEY does any one else have a box started already for CRUISE stuff? Kim you probabblly do cuz of your up coming trips. But as i have been unpacking, i have been putting some stuff right back in a box for next time, like pirate costumes and pirate jewlery and a couple tee shirts that i woudl most likley not wear around here.

So my inlaws have no idea how exciting this cruise is going to be, they've NEVER been on a cruise before. I'd like to get htem somehting cruise relted for christmas... I thought maybe a cruisecare package... door shoe holder, dramamine, photos, cool lanyards...
any other ideas?

I might try the lunch with just ourselves this time , but not dinner as it was a big part of our cruise eating with the family , only time we got to spent any time with DS16

The party was for a friend of ours who is a Disney fanatic - it was her 60th birthday! Funnily enough a group of us met a few years ago through the DIS Disneyland Paris forum and we have had a lot of get-togethers since then! I don't know if we will wear the same things for Halloween on the Magic - DH will probably use his Capt Jack costume (minus the real beard though, which he grew purely for the party) for Pirate night, but I don't think the Ariel costume was very flattering for my anatomy - maybe after considerable toning up! I may well rethink my options.

I have a couple of outfits put away which I bought in the last summer sales which I am keeping for the cruise. I haven't got a proper "cruise box" together yet though. I am looking forward to getting all the little gifty things for the fish extenders and making the door magnets, fish extenders etc. over the next few months. I need something to keep me going over the British winter! I am so jealous of all of you Florida residents!

Looking into flights at the moment
trying to decide on WDW first or after the cruise or maybe in the middle
need to stop over in NY on the way back too to visit my DB

it will be hard flying next time as we were lucky to get free upgrades to first class on the way back home last time

anyone else stopping in WDW

Just been thinking about this all day.............thought i would share.....

As I have been unpacking my treasure and momentos from various bags from my last cruise, This cruise coming up i will take a shoe box or soemthign to organize my stuff in, Like navigators tickets, menus stickers, napkins, etc, so that they are all in one spot when i get home.

I have 2 boxes of stuff now, which i need to reorganize, for our upcoming cruise, Mostly Pirate stuff and halloween stuff!
FUN FUN!

Don't stop!! I was thinking about some of that stuff but I have to somehow explain each item... "what's a fish extender","what's a navigator and why do I need to highlight it" THe under water camera would be good though... hmm.
two boxes each will have (sofar):
1. Okay definately disposable underwater camera.
2. sun block (aerosol, can I buy this in the winter?)
3. travel size shampoo/conditioner bottles
4. dramamine.. I could make a "in case of motion sickness" ziplock. Although this alone might scare off my MIL she hates nausea as much as I do.
5. cool lanyards?
6. DCL brochures
....
Im hoping to fill a shoebox!! what else?!

Speaking of flights, we dont have one yet when I went to bok many airlines didnt have Oct 08 on their websites... we are also in the "should we hit the World" before the cruise ponderings.

We may come a day early and do just that since on our last trip the baby got sick and we went home a day early. Luckily we got the no expiration option on our WDW tickets.

We're staying the first night at the airport hotel and then 4 days after the cruise at AKL. I like to try to unwind a bit after the cruise before heading home. Makes me more relaxed.....

We have done two DCL cruises now and have a suitcase with all our cruise things. We just go through it to make sure the sunscreen hasn't expired before we go! Keeps the chaos and stress levels down later on!

we stayed in AKL before the last cruise and got the bus to the ship
really easy they picked the bags up from our room about 8am and we didn't see them again until we landed in our stateroom
bus never picked us up until 12.30 so we had the whole morning there and were lucky enought to get a late check out
AKL is lovely

Yes, we really like AKL too - our first visit was about a month after they opened back in 2001. Been there many times but still LOVE WL! That's our second home...wel, that and Yacht club!

Those are amazing costumes. I better get sewing to have some nice ones by October.

Along with weight loss, anyone else need to lose some before we go?? I am looking at about 30 pds. I bought a really expensive bathingsuite before my 2005 cruise and have never worn it cause I have never lost the weight so I will try for this cruise....

We will be arriving in Disney on the Friday and spending the day at one of the parks, then staying at one of the values haven't decided yet, we have been to all of them so it doesn't matter to me. Then just drive to the port Sat morning.
