Thanks for the complements! Now I feel purdy.

I've been making home made soap for christmas and Im trying to find mickey mouse soap molds so I can make little soaps forfish extender giftys.

Alanna just pulled my jacket off hte couch and is dragging it across the room saying "dadadadadadada"

Have any of you sucessfully used a walkie talky onboard?

There were several times when my husband was sleeping that I would want to wonder(no pun intended) the ship but for him to be able to join me the moment he woke. I've heard that some walkie talkies wont transmit through the bulk heads.

I'm going to add this to my christmas list and any input would be awesome.

OK got the flights booked today
we have direct flights to Orlando on the 16th Oct , and have a 3 day stopover in New york straight after the cruise
just need to decide where we are staying in WDW
Our home resort is SSR but would like to stay somewhere else this time , hoping on the beach club or the boardwalk , but with the Food and wine festival on these resorts are hard to get in too

what kind of flight pricing are you all seeing?

looked at oct 24 (red eye) from LAX to MCO

AA is around $500 + pp, others somehwere around $400
TA says that is too high and we should wait....

we are planning on staying on property for a few days after the cruise, we were also looking at the value (all star movies) or the mod caribbean or coronado

any suggestions?

We did not use walkie talkies but did see many other people using them!

Thank goodness we do not have to fly, and we will most likley just leave after work on the 24th and spend the night somewhere CLOSE to PORT!

tks.....have you ever stayed at carribbean? we stayed and were not that thrilled with it.......but it could have been that we were so far away from the good pool.

We much perferred the ALL STAR SPORTS...but we did have GREAT ROOM, right beside the GOOD POOL!!!!!

Ivan, my husband is a big Steelers fan. Even though we are way down in Tennessee. Our TV is covered in Steelers stuff, no terrible towel though.We do have a nice big wool blanket.

We've stayed also at Pop Century and LOVE it! The pools are fabulous and we really like the food court. Fun place to stay!

Never stayed at CS or CB. I had friends that stayed at CB and really didn't care for it.

I have to laugh! We either like Pop Century or the Deluxe resorts!!! What a spread!

My first (and last) stay at CSR sucked.
I paid for a water view room and when we got to our room there was luggage in the room. So we borrwed the phone and they moved us to a room downstairs with a view of a bush. I was so mad but just wanted to relax since we had a baby with us, we didnt have any bottled water for her and she was screaming for a bottle. Ugh, we should have skipped the world and just done the cruise.

Maybe I was just being spoiled. But DCL has really set my standards to high!! Next time maybe we'll try AKL.

We're leaving you in STORage...

We had assumed we would sell our house by Christmas and packed our tree away in a storage unit behind massive amounts of stuff... so this was my solution.

Sorry Lynn, no advise here, I don't have any dogs, we love them, but no one is ever home to commit to a pet.

We fly SW so we will be waiting quite awhile for flights which is fine. Final payment of my March cruise is due Xmas day so I will pay it this week don't need the added flight costs yet

We are flying in on Friday and staying at WDW.

LESSON learned i will never offer to do this again! And i will NOT ask ANYONE to watch my dog he will go to a kennel!

Haha yeah, it looks pretty bad huh, maybe I'll get a smaller string of lights for it, the lights on it now are the icicle lights that normally go on the house.

We have a 3 bed one bath house, trying to move up to a 2-3 bathroom house before the 8 year old hits puberty. We are always fighting over the bathroom as it is.

We only have one bathroom , BUT we usually are pretty good about different timings of getting up and getting ready.
BUT I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE MY OWN! We used to have 2 bathrooms before moving to Florida..............

I gave up 2 bathroosm to have NO SNOW!!!!!!!

We have 2 bathrooms and with a DH, DS 18 and DD 15 it still isn't enough as we are always trying to get ready at the same time. Go for the 3 bathrooms. At least I have a ensuite so I overrule on that one

Right about now I will give up my bathrooms for no snow. I really need to figure out how to post a photo to show you all how much snow we have

Oh well on the bright side I will be in WDW in just over 3 weeks

I am SICK today!!
YUCK i am suposed to be putting up the christmas tree, and i dont even feel like it but i have to or i might as well not put it up! it is only a week until time to take it down!

I thought i was supper mom this sickness time around everyone had gotten it, even some people at work , and i was taking EMERGENC and being very careful....BUT it got me any way! i can barely swaloow and i have a fever ...and all kinds of other stuff you dont even want to hear about!

Any one doing any cool parties for Christmas?

I think it was the fever but i actually cried this morning cuz i was homesick!

Dh didnt know what to do but to give me soe hot tea........

My DSIL let her 2 boys age 4 & 5 put up the tree so the bottom have has everything on it it lovely

The Tree is up!

No thie kids cannot put up my tree.....i think it kind of takes the magic away for them to see half a tree up i make sure it is done before they get homef rom school and all boxes put away!!!

i was pushing it this year but it is done...........!!!!!

WHOOO HOOO!!!!

Now, i have not wrapped a single gift.............i dont even have wrapping paper............BUT they are each not getting much....Just wrote out checks for my older 2 who are not even going to be here this year. Andmailed them out.

And MY 2 at home are getting game systems that cost WAy too much for the end of this year......so they didnt get much else!!! So 2 rolls of apaper will be plenty!

I always do each kid in a different paper. so i may even have enough for next year tooo!!!!!!!!!
HA poor kids!

Arlene i wouldnt get differenet lights for your tree.........i think it is VERY ARTSY!!!!!!!
