Can you believe a week today is Christmas.....WOW....it has come so fast.

My DBIL was in a bad snowmobile accident on the weekend and might not be out of the hospital by Xmas, that will really stink for him.

Well out tonight doing my 1/2 marathon training....just over 3 weeks...

I live in northern IL~frozen farm tundra now. Nothing to do but dream of being back on the ship.
Do we have any first time cruisers? After our first(was it just 3 months ago?!) we are now hooked

I am TOTALLY OCD when it comes to planning, my spreadsheets have spreadsheets.

But I have to hide it all and act like it doesnt matter or my DH teases me!!

I love the tree!! In fact, on my last trip to Castaway Cay on 12/8/2007 - I got a t-shirt where a palm tree was lit up like a christmas tree and a nearby snowman had mickey ears!

Arlene I also had spreadsheets about my spreasheets.....And list of lists i needed to make.........GOSH it feels so good to know i am not alone!

Kim...I have to say for me more than half the fun is the planning i mean the planning doeas last for 51 more weeks than the vacation!!!!!! ( and soemtimes een more than that!) But i do try to keep it within a year!

Dana........Nice to meet you! I have sunshine almost every day and i am still dreaming of being back on the ship!!!!!!

I am still not feeling well, and i came home early from work..BUT i still have so much to do for Christams day, so i do have to go to 2 stores....and WRAP every present as i have not even started to wrap yet!!

My oldest DS is having his 21st on Friday night , so that has taken over a bit from Christmas here , I doing the food myself just a buffet
have to pick him up at the airport tomorrow

I still get teary eyed when i think about my DD and her wedding day.

And that my DS is getting ready to GRAUDUATE form COLLEGE with a DOUBLE MAJOR! AFTER 5 LONG YEARS!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

I am the Disney fanatic in our family~but won over DH with the cruise. Maybe now he won't say "No Disney talk tonight"

Anyone care to help where OCD fails me? I'm still scrapbooking 2005's trip~ Any advice?

Lynn & Jackie~myDS is only 12 but I feel the same way. He can just about look me straight in the eye!

This is what i do to accomplish my scrapbooks, I am totally caught up except for the OCT 2008 Cruise and DD Dec 1 wedding ....which i will not attempt until after new years!!!

1.) Give myself a deadline! DATE to be COMPLETED!
2.) get out my "card table" and put it in a spot where it really annoys me and my OCD...this way i MUST work on it!
3.) take out everything i need, have it all ready, any thing i am going to use,
4.) actually PLAN 2 days that i am going to do NOTHING but sit and watch movies and do scrapbook ...

So that's my problem!
I have a craft room. It's too easy to ignore. My 2005 trip is 3/4 done because it was done on the dinning room table. (and before I discovered the Dis)

Note to self-- set a deadline. Do Not Ignore room.

I have already decided my 2008 goals and that will be,,,, of course,,,,, to do the 2 scrap books vacation and wedding. And also i have decded to redecorate my WHOLE house...........I have lived here for 2 years and basically have done no decorating or painting to speak of and i am ready!!!!!!

Well i have to wrap gifts today and i am not excited about it.

YUCk wrap them to day aso they can unwrap them on TUESDAY!!!!

I HOPE WE GO AWAY NEXT YEAR....that means gift cards for every one!!!!!!!

I know my kids are now 18 and 15 and I can't believe the time has gone so fast.

Jackie is your 21 year old coming on the cruise??? My DS who will be 19 when we cruise is hoping for some kids his age.

I don't scrapbook so I can't help there, I am lucky to get photos into albums

Anyone else working on costumes yet??? I would like to get going but none of us know what we want to be??? I am thinking the Peter Pan group of characters, as TINK is my fav....even have a tattoo....lol Just not sure if I could get DH in tights.....lol DD could be wendy and DS Capt Hook????
Then I have to do pirate costumes again, as we got rid of our old ones....not sure why?????

3 weeks today I will be in WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dh is thinking about changing jobs in his company.......WOW, it woudl entail him traveling 3 weeks in the month.
I know he really wants to do this job at least for a year. It would really build his resume and it would be a great pay increase. BUT the more i think about it WOW what a dynamic change in lifestyle it will be for us and the kids.
I will basically be a single mom. AGAIN. A little scary!

BUT if it is what he wants i will not interfere with what he wants to do.......we only live once and if i had the opportunity to do a job i really wanted to do i woudl want full support..........

Wow Lynn, that would be scary. But like you said you only get one go around on this earth. Big question.....does it interfere with your cruise plans
