OOohhh how many DISers are we up to now?

I wore lime green, a Bagallini, and even had a LGMHPC attached. I focked someone who I thought might be a DISer, but instead I think I scared them.

OK, I'm a bit scary anyway (at least DH says so)

I just read your trip report and let me say I can't wait to share a drink of the day with you:lmao: Your report was sooooo funny ..
Side note I will be staying in 7138.

michelle9343 That's wonderful!!! We tried to rebook that room, but were told we really need to have a handicap to specially request it.

I offered to have DH break his leg, but he just refused! LOL

I should go peek at our reservations and see what room they've assigned us to.

I hope its a good one!

Drink of the day? Sounds great!!! Let's plan on it!

Wow, I go away for awhile and there are tons more posts!

It's great to see that more people are climbing on board. As msssoccer7 said, it would probably be best if the dis-ers organize our own trick-or-treat. It should be great fun.

We are in room 659? don't remember the last digit. I love the location, midship and (unfortunately) near the laundry room. Quick recap of our last trip: Carr went to a movie, Dawn did laundry....Carr went to another movie, Dawn did laundry...Carr took a nap, Dawn did laundry......I think ya'll get the picture.

Auggiedaugie- Dawn? Are our husbands related? That pattern looks awfully familiar!

I'll pack treat bags and have them shipped down.

Ahoy!pirate:

It is a handicap room, that's why it is so roomy so a wheelchair can get around. My DD uses a WC, last trip I did not want to spend the $ for a cat5 and got a cat 8 non accessible.. Big mistake The WC could fit through the door but we could not move it past the bathrrom we would fold it and keep it in the shower part. DD was not happy to go to the room.

Thanks..It was after your post that said what's better then two stops at CC that I made up my mind. It is the perfect beach :beach:

Anyone planning any cool excursions??

We just returned from a Mexico trip. We did a tour of Chitzen Itza so now we are really fascinated about the Mayans & would like to learn more. I'm looking into the tour with David & Ivan that was mentioned by Carla & Dawn. We've been to Playa del Carmen & it's a fun touristy town with lots of shopping. I'm not really big into shopping. So Cozumel will probably be a hang out on the ship day for us. At CC there are sooo many possibilities. Definitely want to do some snorkin' and some eatin' & drinkin' and loungin' type of stuff. The bicycles sound like fun.

Actually vacations for me are all about eatin', drinkin', & loungin'. Nothing better than a lounge chair, a good book, & an umbrella drink as far as I'm concerned. Hubby loves the water activities, fishing & snorkeling. Son loves all the adventure stuff, zip-lines & scuba. Grandaughter is game for anything & everything. Her Momma & Greatgramma are more like me.

michelle9343 We walked by a standard cat 11 stateroom and were really surprised by the size of it. If everythng below a cat 9 had not been sold out when I booked, that's what we would have traveled in.

You (and your daughter) will love that room!

So, cocktail party DIS meet in 7138??

Which day? LOL

You could even fit a few people in the closet!

DH thinks a twin aerobed would fit in the closet too! LOL

michelle9343- Aren't there some Double Dips coming up this Fall too?

I don't know if I can wait 19 months!

I think I have a cruise fever and the only cure is another trip! (You thought I was going to say cowbell, didn't you?)

barndweller- What a coinkidink that you'd mention this!

Have you been to http://www.locogringo.com

Click on Forums and Mayan Riviera

That's where I wanna go for a week at an all inclusive. Lay on the beach after hours of snorkeling with tortugas, and have a hunky beach boy named Pedro bring me cold liquored drinks with umbrellas in them.

and I just want to go with a group of other overtired ladies, no husband, boyfriends, kids, or responsibilities.

Oh, and I don't wanna wear sunblock either!

Wanna go?:laundy:

Chistine and I've been thinking of the eco tour. You hike, kayak, and spend time on a secluded beach, right? How was it?
Sean

The one that we did was all on wave runners. You had to stay in line with the tour guides (not venture out on your own), but it was a ton of fun! We did it on a day when the water was very choppy (took the captain 2 tries to back the magic into castaway cay!) which added to the fun in our eyes! when you got about half-way around the island you stopped on a sandbar and stood in the water - learned some more about the vegitation on the island and about the bahamas in general - then you finished riding around the island! The one thing we didn't realize was that there is a little compartment on the wave runner that you can put a camera in and take pictures - so - needless to say we plan to do a do-over!

i dont remember the age limit - i think parasailing might be 16 but not sure about the waverunner - perhaps if they arent old enough they could ride on the back with you (well, one on each waverunner) - i wasnt expecting much but someone (peggy jo) else wanted to go and i didnt want her to go alone - i was glad i decided to join her! :confused3

I am not sure about DD this year.. I feel like I can't wait 19 months but maybe we can jump on even a 4 day late in this year.
I agree that a twin bed could fit in the closet...we will have to have some kind of Dis meet at 7138 I think we could easily fit a dozen people on the veranda.

Anyone know which night will be formal night?

If there is one, I was thinking of dressing up in black and white. I have black and white formal Mickey vests to go with tuxedos for the men, a black and white formal dress for myself, just need something for my DD.

If there are enough of us, we could rent the private room at Palo one evening, just for the adults. I think it accommodates up to a party of 12?
