Welcome aboard Dizzi!

Feel free to ask as many questions as you want - we've got a lot of repeat cruisers on this thread who have all kinds of experience, knowledge, and opinons to share.

We like to talk, too... alot. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

WELCOME Dizzi!! Glad to have you onboard with us. We have a few seasoned cruisers amongst us (I'm not one of them) who will answer every question you can imagine!!

:yay:

Jo, so sorry to hear that you won't be cruising with us! Make sure you keep in touch and post on this thread to let us know how you guys are doing! Just like last time,
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=935126
I plan on doing a live from Disney trip report (with pics of course!) so you can follow all our adventures on a daily basis, it will be just like you are there with us!!

AFEG, do you have digital photo of you on your computer at all?? If yes, you can send me an email and attach the photo and I can take it from there! If not, well then I guess we can all wait 9 months to see your mug!

Welcome aboard Dizzi!! We are gonna have a huge DIS group for this cruise!!!

DIS tag sounds like fun!!! Count us in, we may need to pack another suitcase...hmmm how are we going to carry all this luggage???

We are arriving in Florida on the 9th, doing MNSSHP on the 11th. Anyone else arriving that early?? ROb and his family want to go to Seaworld on the Saturday the 13th but I hate Seaworld so I might be taking a day for myself that day and doing something on my own. Maybe we can have a pre-cruise meet that day??? Anyone interested at all? Maybe a lunch somewhere, depending on people's plans??

Kira had her shots on the 23rd, boy that sucked! I almost cried when they put the 3 needles into her legs!! I had never heard her "pain" cry before, only her "tired" hungry" "crabby" cries so far. She cried while the needles were in but then she was ok afterwards when I cuddled her. She had some pain a little later so we gave her Tylenol but all in all she was pretty good. 2 more months and she's going through it again :(

Thanks Cass, I look forward to your reports from the cruise...those baby shots hurt Mommy more than baby, if I recall correctly from my days when our girls were babies:hug:

Jason and I currently have a studio booked at the Beach Club Villas October 13th - October 20th. We felt like we needed one more year to ingest all that the Food & Wine Festival has to offer. :lmao:

We're skipping MNSSHP this year - we've done it three times in the last four years so I think we need a break (more money for mochaccinos!).

I may wait to do my tag shopping until we hit the world, depending on how many cabins are playing, how creative I can get, and how much mochaccino money I'm willing to sacrifice! :lmao: :lmao:

OK, I'm going home. Performance reviews went really well and I am one happy manager (for now). I gots to go watch me some figure skating...I love figure skating.

Bye!

Wow Brenda, that's a lot of Disney. Sounds like a great time though. I would have to bring clothes of different sizes if I did the F&W and the cruise.

I forgot how much you loved figure skating. Now I remember it was one thing (of many) that we have in common.

Tonight I'm opting for "The Office". I usually laugh so hard my head hurts. I could go for a good head hurtin' tonight!! (As opposed to the head ache I get at work every day).:headache:

Pooh, your passporter was shipped via ups today. Wisconsin to Maryland? About 3 business days. Watch for a package from me on Tuesday.:cheer2:

Thanks Nancy! I'll let you know when I get it.

Kira - I completely know what you mean. When Sammie was born, we had to get a PKU test done. It was just a heel prick. Problem was, for some reason, her heel wouldn't bleed. It would just clot up right away. They had to practically mangle her little foot to get a dot out. Poor thing, just screamed. I about fainted from the stress of it. I made John go in and handle the rest. It does get easier though. Just keep telling yourself, it's for her own good health. Hugs to you!

Welcome Dizzi! Feel free to ask all the questions you want. We're all here to help each other!

Linda - I'll "introduce" Katie to Elouise this weekend.

Nancy - I just can't get into "The Office." I've tried it a time or two, but it's never caught on with me. I do love "Scrubs" though. Waiting for John to get done watching "Smallville" (recorded) so we can watch "Scrubs" (also recorded.)

Thinking about trying the Dolphin Encounter in Cozumel. Any good or bad experiences with this?

We are toying with the same excursion. I need to read up on it a little more. Maybe once that new Passporter gets here, I can check it out a little closer.

Wow we certainly are a talkative bunch :chat: Rachel spent all evening on the computer the last few nights working on a project for school and there were many many pages of this thread for me to get caught up on :surfweb:

Jo sorry you won't be able to cruise with us. Here's some more of that dust stuff pixiedust:

Welcome dizzi!

Cass I hope Kira is feeling OK after her shots :grouphug: I always hated taking Rachel for hers and last year when she was 12 she had to get some "booster" shots and she got herself so worked up about it beforehand I though I was going to have to hold her down for the nurse to give them to her but she survived. She hates needles but she is now saying she wants to be a doctor, I guess she would rather be on the other side of the needle.

Karen we had the PLA dining rotation last Oct. on the Western and it worked out fine for us. The 5:45 dining time was fine. I am thinking about requesting this for this cruise too.

Jeff we are DVC memebers too! Feel free to PM me with any DVC ??? you may have. I am so glad we finally bought in 2004. I only wish we would have bought years ago. You can't leave our cruise group for the repo!
I noticed in you stayed at VB last year, did you like it? We are staying there this June in a 1 bedroom villa using our DVC points.

DIS tag sounds like fun! Count us in too. We always overpack and I was really hoping to downsize on the suitcases this time so hopefully I will be able to think of something small to bring. My brother-in-law even made a not so nice comment on the amount of suitcases we had when he took us to the airport last Oct.

I'm not sure what "excursions we are going to do this time around. Much to Rachel's dismay we did decide not to do the Tulum excursion on Cozumel. It just sounds like to much time traveling back and forth.

We are flying down on the 19th and staying that night at Pop Centry. We are not going to MNSSHP this year seeing how we just went last Oct. We will go to Downtown Disney and do some shopping Friday afternoon and then relax and get to sleep early that night so that we will be well rested for cruising on Sat.

Welcome Dizzi!:welcome:

Cass, those first shots are awful but the worst for me was when my kids had their "kindergarten shots." When my DD13 got hers, the nurse said, "abra cadabra" during the first shot to make it seem like the shot was quick. Well, when it was time to get the second one, my DD kept screaming over and over, "abra cadabra, abra cadabra!" It was so sad and so cute at the same time. Everyone in the clinic heard her. She also thought it was the Marine Corps' fault that she had to get those shots because we had just moved into the area (VA). She kept asking, "Why does Daddy have to do what the Marines say, anyway?!":lmao: :lmao:

Hello Hall Monitors!! (Brenda, Jeff, Karen)

I've been doing my homework and working my way around the new Yahoo site. :surfweb: (Sorry about the double msg posting). I even added two new tables to the database. :cheer2: We will have one for "Excursions" and "Staying Before/After". (Just like the old Molar Express Brenda).

Do you think we should start inviting all the Konked Kruisers this weekend?

Let's get this party started people!!:dance3:

Ok, ok...I'm getting a little punchy. This is what happens to Nocturnal Nancy who can't sleep at night.:upsidedow

Welcom Dizzi.

If you want to do hour by hour planning, you could if you look at the Navigators on other sites.

But I will forewarn you that once you get on board, any schedule will be useless by the sail away party. Just kidding. Actually you will probably find conflicting things to do and thus you will have plan time to go to the rebooking desk.

Ask any questions you have. We will gladly answer them.

Jeff

Cheryl,

We spent 2 night at VB in an Ocean View room in the Inn back in November. It was great. DS had a blast. Suz on the other had got sick and was in bed for almost our whole time there. She did say the room was comfortable. :rotfl:

They have a camp fire on Friday and Saturday nights. DS loved it.

We are actually thinking of staying there after the cruise in October if we go. It is only about an hour south of Port.

Jeff

Welcome Dizzi.

Have a great Friday everyone
Heather
