Interesting day in our area. Both DD's heard it; DGD was taking her Saturday afternoon nap 
in her upstairs bedroom, the "BOOM" woke her and she felt the house shake. Hard of hearing Pappy and Mimi 
heard nothing but, in our defense, we were in the house showering and cleaning up for evening church service. So far, one report of a fragment falling through a house roof in the Katy area, bouncing off the floor and damaging it in 2 areas of the upstairs bedroom. NASA confirmed the meteorite sighting at 4:40 this afternoon...

Houston Event (Saturday ~4:40 PM)
• NASA confirmed it was a meteor/fireball
• Traveled roughly 35,000 mph
• Entered around 49 miles up
• Broke apart around ~29 miles altitude (Cypress area)
• Created a sonic boom
• Energy roughly ~26 tons of TNT
• Bright object seen
• Loud boom heard across wide area
• Homes reportedly shook
