Actually Jeff, if that picture you posted a few months ago of Borat in that lime green thong-type bathing outfit didn't get this thread an "R" rating, then nothing will!

And just when you thought it was save to go back in the water.

Here it is again. :rotfl2:

That makes me feel quite sick. But it's the right colour green for TheDis.

I dare any of the men on our Cruise wear something like it on Castaway???

How much are you guys willing to put in for me to wear that one lap around Deck 9? :cool1:

Well good news for us for our January cruise. AirTran came out with their flight books for January and I was wrong, they did NOT change us again. But now that it is in writing, I called and got them to switch us to fly into Tampa. Granted it is about an hour further from WDW than MCO (net time) but it gets in 5 hours earlier. Net effect = 4 extra hours in FL. The rental car for the one way to port was only $10 than out of MCO.

Now we can do Hoop Dee Doo on Thursday night at 5:00 instead of Friday night at 7:15. We can then spend the whole day in the parks on Friday and end at MK at 8:00 and get a good nights sleep before we head to port. EPCOT is open late for EMH, but DS will be wiped by then.

AirTran was playing with me at first. They listed the new flight books. The first one was Jan 4 - Jan 10 and the second was Jan 11 - Feb 3. We fly on Jan 11. Well I could open the Jan 4 - Jan 10 book, but couldn't open the Jan 11 - Feb 3 book. I thought for sure they were going to screw me over with this one. But, I opened up the first book, changed a number in the url and I got the other book. :wizard:

Needless to say we are happy campers tonight. :cheer2:

Good morning and thankyou to everybody who welcomed me to your chat forum,

i am still looking for flights and i have found that virgin have sold out on return flights for 27th oct!!! so might have to stay a day of two longer, do flights get cheaper if you leave it until june / july next year?or is it the half term thing in the uk?

went x-mas shopping on sunday is it just me or is there a lot of mega stressed people out there?

i will post a photo karen but i am that old its hard to find a colour one!!!!!!

Hi Medicalman.... we had to fly back on Sun 28th, with Virgin as it was sold out on the 27th, that was months ago !!!!! our Gatwick flight I have been told for the 28th is now sold out too !!!! it cos of half term i think. We booked as soon as the flights were released, as we booked the cruise months before, loined this thread and then were deseperate to get the correct flights. Good luck........

Oh, Jeff, I would gladly chuck in a few $s to see you in the lime bathing suit !!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Brenda, perhaps the UK Disers should bump in the morning, when you lot are still snoring !!!! :confused3 :teeth:

Cass, take care............... wishing you all the very very best. :grouphug: I promise things do get better ( or so ive been told................... ) apparently when they get to 18 ( or 21 for you guys) when they can take you to the pub for a drink ! :rotfl2:

My little family has a new edition!!!!!!!!!! :bounce:

His name is Patch and he's my sons new hamster - his first ever pet :goodvibes

The lazy thing just eats and sleeps but he's very cute and seems rather tame at the moment - no bites or nibbles as yet. Up to now I have stroked him but not held him - I'm a bit scared too

Medicalman - we dont fly back til the 30th. The 26, 27 and 28 will be really busy cos of people getting back for the start of term. Have a few extra days to wind down after the cruise and to do that all important shopping :thumbsup2
We're planning to do Kennedy the day we get off the ship cos we'll be so near and we havent done it in years, then 2 more days til we fly back.

If you leave it til June you might not get a flight at all. I'd book now rather than later. Have you tried 15th-29th etc with Virgin? Weekend flights are always more popular - you might still get on midweek and theres no weekend supplement then either :thumbsup2

by the way - did you not notice that my photo on Cass' site was in sepia :lmao: - thats how old I am! :lmao:

Jeff, I'll pay a few dollars for you NOT to run round deck 9 in that suit! - you'd put me off my lunch :lmao:

bye for now everybody, I'm off shopping to get Patch some sunflower seeds :wave2:

your right about the hamster( lazy things) we got olivia one a little girly one! about nine months ago, very cute and very tame if you fuss em a lot ( a bit like all women!!!)
kidding!!!!! ours loves half a grape and it will fall asleep on your arm watching tv, it loves x-factor on saturday night!!!! makes me fall asleep aswell!! or maybe thats the bottle of merlot i have with my meal!!!!

olivia has called hers flossy.it wakes up mostly when she is in bed so we have to look after it!!!

thanks for the flight advise i will have a look later to-day.only kiddin about the photo i will find one or should i say i will let cath choose one!!

we only found out when my daughters friend said her hamster could play with ours and her hamster spend five mins chaseing ours around its cage!!!!!then we got ours checked by my vet friend and its a girl!!

My sister used to have a hampster named Phil when we were kids. No idea if Phil was male or female. My sis would say " time for Phil Food", or "here's your Phil wheel." When Phil went to hampster heaven, she got a new hampster, who she named Jack. But it was still "Phil food" she would feed him. It just became second nature to say "Phil food." :teeth:

We had Herbie,he simply went to sleep one day and dad buried him in the garden to save us kids from the horror of seeing are beloved hamster dead in his cage....it must have been 10 years before my older sister told me Herbie wasn't dead at all just hibernating, from that day forward we never left one of are pets alone with dad just in case he decided to OFF another of are much loved pets.... :rotfl2:

"If you leave it til June you might not get a flight at all. I'd book now rather than later."

Am with Karen on this as it's one hell of a row across the atlantic.... :rotfl:

Well, Patch likes his sunflower seeds :teeth:

Apparantly its quote common for parents to bury their childrens hibernating hamsters! :lmao: - you are the 4th one to admit it since we had him on Sunday :lmao:

And then theres always the ones who dont admit it :rolleyes1

By the way, you might all want to check out Direct-travel insurance online - much cheaper than even Asda's quote  Annual ins for all 3 of us now =£99 - woohoo - dont ya just love a bargain :Pinkbounc

Oh Karen did i mention the one about a toad we got to look after for the 6 weeks during the summer holidays,we brought it home on the Thursday it was dead by Friday lunch time the next day and my older brother made me and my sister attend a state funeral he had for the dam thing....6 weeks later dad paid £6 to a pet shop so my brother could replace it without school ever being any wiser everything went just great until his teacher asked "how come he was a toad when you took him but FROG when you brought him back".....we were never allowed to bring home the school pets again..... OR the one about my mate who came late one night the worse for wear to find his dog playing with next door's now dead pet rabbit,he did no more than after washing it off he crept into next door's garden and put the rabbit back in it's hutch, the next morning there's a ban on the door, what's up fella?," you'll never guess whats happened, yesterday the little one's rabbit died so i buried it in the garden but when we got up this morning it was back in it's hutch, but still dead".....and my mate kept a straight face throughout how i'll never know..... :lmao:

We're in cardiac arrest. We fell to PAGE 2!!!!!!!

What is wrong with you people?!!

Good Morning
Yes it was me Chris. The 14 and 21 day passes expire after the 14th or 21st day so you cant use them on the next holiday even if you only use 8 or 9 days from them :sad2:

There are other type of passes which dont expire but you can only get them for 7 days or less anyway (I think) and we'd use all those up. They are more expensive and I dont think they include the water parks either.

I need to know the dates for the MNSHHP cos that will determine which day we do that on - I dont think you need a seperate entrance ticket if you turn up about 4pm so we could do the wishes fireworks that night too.

Its just trying to fit it all in. :confused3 We dont tend to stay from early morning til late at night cos of having a little one with us - too long a day and he gets grumpy (and dopey etc!). If we go early we leave about 6pm and if we do the fireworks or fantasmic we dont go in til after lunch. Last year he squeezed into a buggy when his legs got tired but I dont think he'd fit next year so it'll be daddys shoulders when he gets worn out.

I love Seaworld too so thats another day used up.
And of course there has to be shopping :thumbsup2 - just getting my disney xmas ornaments takes all afternoon by the time they finish wrapping them. :rotfl:

I did "suggest" to Neil that we get an annual pass cos it would work out cheaper and we could use it for July 2008 but he just looked at me with a "not on your life" kind of expression :sad2:

For some reason he thinks there are other places in the world to visit :confused3 - yeah I agree - Disney Tokyo or California:rotfl:

Still havent paid off the cruise balance yet. Keep looking at the exchange rate but I think its gone done a bit lately. Oh well, whats a dollar here or there (especially when they are hubbys dollars!)

Have a great day :wave2:
