We asked both of our son's teachers last week at open house about our vacation. Luckily, they both were excited for us and told us they don't believe in sending homework on vacations. They said they would just catch them up when we get back. Awesome!!!

Doubt that for my son. He's a senior and he's got some pretty tough courses this year. His AP Biology is tougher than he thought! He did Biology in 10th and always had straight A's, now he's getting C+ in his first few weeks of this.
And pre-calc math, he can't miss too much in that class either. Physics is another one. Those 3 will be his toughest to miss.

I'd forgot to book mine too. Rang on Monday - she can squeeze me in the day before we fly - not so good when you're having it coloured and not meant to get it in the sun for a while - erm...hello...florida sun...Oh well, if it turns green at least it will match the KK logo

Yep, I'll be busy...and I didn't even list clean and rearrange my house, whcih I'm also in the middle of doing...

I have a nightly TO DO list - tonight

- finish DIS TAG Bags so i can box them up and give to my parents who are driving to Florida next week
- Spencer needs new dress shoes
- Avery needs another pair of dress shoes
- pack formal wear
- ensure all child docs are ready (neice needs extra docs)

I need to start doing this...

Tonight's will be door signs and t-shirts (this will take me all night)

You'll get there in the end - the most important thing is to get the dis tag bags completed - mine especially

I will be cancelling my Palo brunch ressie for Thursday Oct 25th at 10:30 am today if anyone wants to try to snag it.

I'm not sure if that will work, but I do know that trying to transfer it to another DISser won't. I tried passing it onto Linda but it didn't go. DCL could not assist me in the transfer.

Oooh, I would love that spot--probably already gone though.

Of course we did, I coached football practice and she took her grandmother to the grocery store. What more could you ask for after 14 years? Romance. Ha!

I have a little vacation planned for us in a couple of weeks. You're more than welcome to join us. It's just going to be me and over 100 of my closest KK friends.

My oldest will have to do the same thing... catch up when he gets back. He will also have to get 5 or 10 signatures... can't recall which, of people from other countries... Well... I am making my list and think I can get that accomplished right there at the pool at 3PM. (The boys go to an International school so it is a great part of their curriculum to have meetings with people in other countries)

Should be pretty simple between our group and the CMs.

Ooooo.... Good to know. He plans on the ferret being and upstairs pet... the birds and dogs are down but the ferrett is NOT going to want to remain up with all the excitment down. I may tell him it will have to be a "dad's house" pet. My birds are caged but ferretts are quite resourseful am I right?

Yeah, it's a lot easier for us having one in kindergarten and one in 5th grade. I did think the 5th grader would have to take something along, but his teacher said he will catch up just fine and I wasn't about to argue with her. Plus they are only missing 3 days since Wisconsin has Thursday and Friday off.
