are they sent to the Travel Agent's address or home addresses???

Unfortunately, they are sent to the TA, unless you book directly through Disney. That will usually result in a 1 day to 1 week delay on getting your Docs depending on how motivated you TA is.

I was really naughty the way I told Ellis' teacher. I wrote her a letter stating that I had already mentioned to the Head before Ellis started at the school etc and I was just confirming the final dates:rolleyes1 I havent asked for homework while he's away either (irresponsible parent:rolleyes1 ), but I will be taking a hnadwriting book on holiday - they are learning cursive at the moment and he's just starting to join letters now so he can practice that on the flight etc - 9 1/2 hours to kill. I'll also do numeracy with him while we're away - I knew all this classroom asst training would come in useful one day:rotfl:

I love the Idea of making them practice writing on the plane. I will do that. Stuart's Handwriting is atrocious. (No doubt handed down to him by his neatness challenged father)

Oh, and to catch up before I go:

Where is Linda? Miss her too!

Congrats to everyone with upgrades!:thumbsup2 :cool1:
Steve yours is awsome!:woohoo: :yay:

Carrie great photos of your girls!

Nancy, very sweet things you said of everyone.
We're all great and wonderful in different ways.
You are the best!

And great Wisconsin mini meet photo :thumbsup2

Thank you, I was crazy happy over that!

Ok, what's going on with Jeff?

Someone must know.....

When I last was catching up with the postings from last weekend I was reading through and noticed that he had deleted all his postings from about last weekend.... maybe from saturday on..... can't remember when it started.
I tried to catch up on my reading to see what happened but can't quite figure it out.
Something somebody said?
About postings? Milestone posts? Counting?
Or about politics? There was something about that being mentioned?

Anybody remember?

Jeff, come back please.:flower3:
I'm sure that whatever happened or was said, it was either a joke or misinterpreted.

We all miss you:grouphug:

His signature has changed also. He doesn't have this cruise in his siggie anymore. HMMM.....:confused3

Here is Kelsey's school picture this year. This is what I have been printing out.

I have a bag of stuff to keep him occupied....word searches, dot to dot, play clay, nintendo ds (of course), reading book, small note pad to keep his own diary - (another way of getting him to write), noughts and crosses travel game, .....no wonder my hand luggage is full and heavy.

I also wrap up little prezzies - he gets one to unwrap each hour - small packet of sweets, crayons etc - keeps the journey more fun and interesting for him.

How long is your flight? Do you have tv's in the headrests? - another god send:rolleyes1. We arent taking the portable dvd player this time - we just dont have the room so I hope those tv's are working:rolleyes:

My worst time is the actual check in and boarding. I get soooo stressed cos of Ellis' nut thing. We pre-reserve the seats with a wall infront of us - less chance of contamination etc, but they give them away most of the time to "more desrving passengers":sad2:

Then i have to get on the plane before Ellis and Daddy and do a thorough sweep of the plane area where we are sitting, wiping all the windows, seats, tables etc etc before he gets on. Then I sit and panic for 9 1/2 hours incase someone opens nuts...remind me why we fly again?...oh yeah - to get to Disney:rotfl:

Great idea! I'll have one at home just before the cruise! Cheaper!

But I've had one on the cruise, that was my very first one! It was wonderful!

Oh, and not to mention my first massage was on the cruise too!
Wow, it was fantastic! And I had a young, in his 20's, nice looking guy with blond hair from Australia:thumbsup2

Yes my plan is to have a manicure and pedicure doen the weekend before we go - on the 13th or 14th

Jeff, PM'ed me a few days ago and he said nothing about any probs. He is probably just very busy. He hasn't posted on the other cruise thread in a while either. I'm hoping that everything is okay in his life and look forward to seeing him on the cruise. But I wouldn't worry him being upset at anyone.

Hi Walt and Di - are you lurking? - I see your lights on:goodvibes

Walt here, Di is celebrating another two pound lost...I am so upset, my body won't lose anymore...Still persistant though. :lmao:

Yes, lull at work, so catching up on post...Can't wait until the cruise..Countdown has begun...:yay:

OMG Karen! That must be a TOUGH day for you!!! That's a lot of stress to deal with for a very looooong flight :sad2:

Do you ever ask the people around you NOT to have peanuts?? I know I would. Do they still give out peanuts on flights these days with all the allergies nowadays?? The last few flights I have been on they have given out pretzels, but not peanuts, which is a good idea!

It depends on the airline...so do and some dont. Virgin still serve nuts in the posh part and point blank refuse to take them off - drives me crazy, but they are the only airline that flies daily so we're stuck. They put a tannoy announcement once everyone has boarded advising there is a passenge onboard witha severe nut allergy and if they bought nuts onboard could they please not open them, but its at the passengers discretion, but yes - I am very vigilant around me. If I saw anyone eating them I would offer to buy them an alternative snack off the trolley in exchange for them not killing my child. Not a lot I can do half way over the atlantic if he did have a shock attack - just stab him with his injections and hope for the best. - oh and get the plane diverted of course - wouldnt I be popular:rolleyes: - all at my own expense too - nice! - I'd be bankrupt if it ever happened.:rolleyes1

So sorry to hear about the allergies, but (not a plug for my daughter's airline), but Southwest does not serve peanuts if a passenger has the Allergy. They serve Raisins, heathier I might add... :thumbsup2

Can't wait to meet everyone from the Disgroup..

Walt

Dont put youself down. I do it out of necessity not cos i want to.

Its only because I freak out every so often when the house reaches a certain point of messiness and I have to blitz it or go insane.

I'm sure your tag gift will be fab - I hope mine meet up to all your high standards:sad2: - sounds like you've all put a lot of effort into them. I on the other hand have had to shop for small and light items -hope you wont all be disapointed.

I have days where I can barely make dinner then I have others where I just cant stop. It helps me having a deadline or event to work to. I just keep thinking that by the time we're home from our hols it will nearly be xmas and I havent put a single thought into a single gift yet:scared1: (well, actually I got my baby nephew his today - but thats the only one I've bought.

I like having all my decorations up and sorted by Dec 1st, I start 23rd November so thats my next deadline.

Carrie amazes me though - She wears a cape with a big S on the back;)

Thanks Karen:hug:

Yup, Carrie...Supergirl:thumbsup2

Good Lord Karen! Ok, that's even more stress than I thought! Well I must say that you handle things really well. How could someone complain if you even offer to get them a different snack :confused3 You have opened my eyes to people with peanut allergies! Before I read about your ordeals with Ellis about other people at your cruise dining table and now the airplane ride, I had thought about bringing those little peanut butter and cracker packages with us for Kira but I am NOT doing that now :sad2:

I hope the people on that plane listen to you! :thumbsup2 Just tell them what you just said about being diverted ;)

"Now unless you want to be diverted to Greenland, I suggest no one open that bag of peanuts!" :rolleyes1

Walt

I wish they'd all serve raisins. We dont have a great deal of choice here in the uk over airlines. I remember when we took our first internal flight in the US, we were amazed people were just walking on at the last minute and finding any seat. Maybe its changed a bit since 9/11, but we have to be at the airport at least 2 or 3 hours in advance and are allocated a specific seat.

Do you think you'll recognise people at the Dis meet? Thats my main concern that I'll be standing by a KKer and not even say hello:eek: - I'm not very good at names and faces so I aplogise in advance to anyone who thinks I'm rude - I'm not doing intentionally:sad2:

I also dont see people if I'm walking somewhere, Neil often calls me back as I've strode straight past someone I know - I dont even look at people - I just focus on where I have to go - my sense of direction is pathetic - spin me round once and I'll be lost forever:rolleyes: - god help me on board where it all looks the same:rotfl: - I'd better keep a list of all your cabin numbers on me, so if I get lost someone can help me get me back to my own cabin:lmao:
Either that or I'll crash on your balconies;)

I'll ask here since I seem to be confusing people on the main board lol!

Is it going to be okay if my passport is in my maiden name and my drivers license is in my married name? The cruise is reserved in my maiden name as well... I just don't want to have to get a new license twice in a month (mine just expired)!
