How 'bout Savannah? I'm going there Columbus Day weekend next year....gotta get my Paula Deen fix!

Well, it's midnight....6:30 will come quickly.......

It was great chatting with you Brenda.....

Before I go...Did I tell you which book my new book group is reading this month? Our Lady of the Lost and Found...There's nothing like starting off a book group with a bunch of new people talking about religion....:rotfl:
I think I already told you that..or dreamed that I did.:headache:

No WDW for us next year - next month will be three trips in 12 months, so I think it's time to take a break.

I love Savannah but not Paula Deen ... shudders ... she gets on my nerves.

I just finished reading Isaac's Storm and am about 1/4 of the way through All the King's Men. I need something good for our trip next month but the problem is that I start reading whatever I buy and then I finish it because I read so darn fast.

Oh well ... maybe we can plan on meeting up in 2009? Just be sure to keep in touch.

This could be my last post here Don't all cheer at once but i had my last joke sensored for using the word "Hump"...i changed it from S**G so ive now changed it again...the very last thing i wanted to was offered anyone....:sad2:

Three male mice were sitting at a bar with three shots of tequila, arguing
about how tough they were. The first mouse said, "I'm so tough I break
into the cupboard just to eat the rat poison." He slammed down his tequila
and looked at the second mouse.

The second mouse replied, "That's nothing. I'm so tough I run through a
mouse trap, grab the cheese, flip onto my back & benchpress the killer
springed trapwire." He slammed down his tequila and looked at the third
mouse. The third mouse slammed down his tequila, slid off his stool and
began walking away from the bar. The other mice screamed, "Hey, Softy,
where
do you think you're going?!!"

The third mouse replied, "AM GOING HOME TO PLAY BIRDS AND THE BEES WITH THE CAT."....:rolleyes1

PS...If this is my last i look forward to seeing all of you on the 20th.....:)

Chris

pps....Has anyone seen my Fanny-pack:confused3 Ok only the UK DISSers may get this one....:rolleyes1

Attempting to go out with a bang, Chris? I do hope that you are not censored. I so enjoy your posts.

Do you like my new Avitar? I borrowed it from another DISser.

Cool. Cass offered to make one up for me, I think that I'm going to take her up on it.

Wooooo Hooooo! - a bouncing boo!

Congrats!

thanks steve. i checked them out. i saw taylor mayson the ventriloquist was on that cruise. he was on our last one and we thought he was great!!

I saw that too. It's been a while since I have seen a ventriloquist, that should be fun. Kids should get a kick out of him.

i have found that the older i get, its easier on me to play dumb.
"robin, i dont know how to work the new digital camera. robin honey, i dont know how to use the video camera. robin sweetie, fix the computer for me."
"robin, i dont know how to fill out these cruise forms."
my master plan is working to perfection.:thumbsup2

Oh so that's the secret!!!! I think my wifes been doing that to me all along.

Robin here,

Yes, I'm home. Mike has now been officially boo'd.

Whoo Hoo! Or is that Whoo Boo?

Yahoo I've been Booed! What a nice thing to come home to after a long and crazy day at work! Thanks guys!

Boy o' boy Cheryl, you said a mouth full. I had a miserable day. It was nice to come home to the Boo's of my friends. (I think)

I think "Cinnamike and the Annihilator" is a good title for a book or movie.:lmao:
:rotfl: I'd buy a ticket to that one!:rotfl2:

Well, just got home from work a little bit ago. Had a crazy day. After 0900 it was all downhill. the only redeeming quality, was that I knew that I have the rest of the week off.

I'm sending Laura to Orlando tommorrow, then It'll be me and the kiddies for the rest of the week. I'll be working my my Halloween display and DISing.

Still haven't gotten work from my TA yet. Rats! I'm thinking that she's not quite as good as my old one. (she got promoted) Previous TA would email me right back even if it was to tell me that she needed time to get me an answer.

Well, off to shoot some Zombies. (I need to take out some fustratiosn) Later all!

Just got home. Not going to be on to long. Very tired. Did not get to sleep until late last night and now late again tonight.

Scott wants me to say HI to everyone for him. He hurt his back last Wednesday and then did not tell me about it until Saturday. That is also the same day I had him do some heavy lifting. I guess you could say he did lifting all weekend with the ice chest and stuff like that. Then of course sitting in the car all weekend did not help. So today I made him promise to take it easy and put heat on it. I am so hoping that it gets better before the trip. After all who is going to carry all our luggage.

All done my exercise for the day. :scared:

When Kira and I went for a walk this afternoon, we took a new path that Rob had pointed out to me yesterday. It turned out to be a great path, right along the river! We only encountered 4 people in just over an hour, so obviously not many people know about it:thumbsup2

I am getting my legs in shape for WDW and trying to get Kira used to being in her stroller :goodvibes

Well, our two weeks of fall is almost over, we are expecting some snow overnight tomorrow :headache: Then we will be back to 6 months of winter

OMG, Rob told me about this and I almost didn't believe him...:lmao: :rotfl2: Almost wish I was at the ER today!! Hey Steve, this ever happen to you?? :rotfl:

Bear wanders into Calgary hospital

calgary.ctv.ca

POSTED AT 6:06 PM Monday, September 17

Staff at the Rockyview Hospital had an unusual walk-in patient Sunday night, a curious and very lost black bear.

Police and Fish & Wildlife officers were called to the Holy Cross Ambulatory Care Centre around 11:30 Sunday night after staff saw the bear wander into the ambulance bay.

A security guard then saw the bear walk inside, right through the hospital's main doors.

The animal then high-tailed it out of the building sprinting across 14th street.

Wildlife officers found the mischievous bear in a tree in Eagle Ridge.

He was tranquilized and relocated outside of the city.

Hello All

We just got home about 30 minutes ago. We had a great weekend. I will have to tell you all about it tomorrow. I am off to bed now and it looks like I have a lot to catch up on.

Hope everyone is well.

Hey I just got to our first post from last night. I think I am half way caught up.

Nope an Office manager, we get to see some of the creme de la creme, which is unfortunate. I tease my boss that we need to at least have one day that only non-disiplinary issues need to come in the office.

Darn it I was hoping that you could give us advice on our older two. :rotfl:

Here's a joke for all the "losers" out there:

Bob was in big trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary.

His wife was really upset. She told him, "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds... AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!! "

The next morning Bob got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box, gift-wrapped, in the middle of the driveway.

Confused but curious, the wife put on her robe.. ran out to the driveway... and brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Bob has been missing since Friday.

Off to bed for me. I will try to read more of the 11 pages I have left in the morning. Good night everyone.

Take care of that back Scott! Rest, Ice and Anti-inflamitories!

Nope but some of the Urban Outdoorsmen look pretty bearish.

Good Night I gotta go to bed too!

Anyone know if there will be trick or treating on board? Unfortunately in our town trick or treating is during the day on Saturday and we don't get back until 7:30p.m.

I doubt if there will be anything official. Only if DISser's organise something themselves.

ahh. nothing like the compassion of a loving spouse.
hope you feel better soon Neil.:thumbsup2

Even the doctor sent him away without a prescription the next day:rotfl2:

He's fine now - a little sore throat thats all. Us women would have just had a throat pastille and carried on as normal, you men cul up in bed and groan for 24hours:sick:

pps....Has anyone seen my Fanny-pack:confused3 Ok only the UK DISSers may get this one....:rolleyes1

:scared:

rumor has beef has been locked up in his bedroom for days with a calculator, protractor and a stop watch, trying to calculate how he is going to get the #30,000 post. suz says hes been mumbling all weekend...

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

you got me beat. :sad2:

With a little help from Cass:goodvibes

Alex needs a little help from the UKers if you all don't mind...........she has a school project that is due on Friday. It is about family immigration history. Her great-great grandmother came to America from England so that is who she wants to tell about immigrating to the USA.
What she needs help with is she has to take in a food from that country(preferably in individual sizes) to give out to the class. The simpler the better. I would like her to do be able to do most of the preparation. You can PM me with any ideas you mght have.
Thank you very much!!!:thumbsup2

I'll help - what sort of thing are you after? Hot or cold?

Karen, most women would be happy if their boo's didn't bounce.:rotfl:

Oh no - I'd like a pair of bouncing boos:lmao:

Well, we've done it!

After carefully planning this trip for over a year now, I just went and changed a bunch of it. We were originally driving down to PC....13 hours driving.:scared: So just out of curiosity I checked out a couple of airfares and they have gone down from the last time I checked, so we are now flying into Orlando on the 19th instead of driving. So that means we now have to rent a car....ok, got that planned..will call in the a.m........and since this will cost us more than driving (even though the air tix were fairly low), we are cancelling our ressies at the radisson and staying at la quinta....all we need is a clean room...and we have points at la quinta (since our cross country trip this past summer with the dog)....So I am happy to be flying instead of driving, but I am disappointed that we won't be able to have a mini meet with Cinnamike and the Annihilator.:sad1: Truthfully, guys, we would have gotten in so late that we would have had to wake y'all up to meet us.:rotfl2:

Sounds like a much better idea than 13 hours of driving:scared:

OMG, Rob told me about this and I almost didn't believe him...:lmao: :rotfl2: Almost wish I was at the ER today!! Hey Steve, this ever happen to you?? :rotfl:

News just in...............

Ellis didnt cry going into school!:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: He almost did but managed to hold them back.

We bought him a really lovely football yesterday - gold and black and very expensive:rolleyes:

Its sitting high up on a shelf in the kitchen with 5 tears stuck to it.

Each time he goes into school without crying we pull off a tear. When the football has no tears on it he can have it. 1 day down, 4 more to go

I'm also going to steal rhe idea of the countdown paper chain for the holiday - making it this morning.:thumbsup2
