I never used hair spray then. I was such a tomboy... I wasn't in to primping. I was a jeans, t-shirt and barefoot kind of girl. Mike's dad used to tease me all the time about being barefoot.

("Don't you have any shoes")

My sister could have bought it by the cases.
I remember her using Aqua Net. :lmao:

My sister too is well know for her well sprayed hair! Takes her forever to get her hair "just right" and heaven forbid if it's windy or raining! And you can never drive with the windows down with her around! :rotfl2:

I've been peeking at the Sep 8 Western navs. I noticed there were only a few nights with late night comedy shows. DH & I love going to those. With G'ma watching the girls (well, actually sleeping next to the girls!) DH & I felt like those were our "sneak out" nights!

If I'm going to get up at 5:30 to excercise, I better go to bed.

Nite All.

4 weeks, :scared: I'm running out of time. :)

Ok Cass, Any more suggestions? :rotfl:

I guess we'll have to go down the list. popcorn:: :)

Robin, did you try looking at your internet options like I mentioned in that post?? Did you have allow animation on webpages check marked??

I looked at them too real quick, seems like the adult shows at night sucked! I have Kira down for Flounders every night for a couple of hours so we could go see the shows but we may cancel a couple of those nights. Apparently, the only night we really need is the first night and they don't have babysitting that night!! :headache:

Well, we've done it!

After carefully planning this trip for over a year now, I just went and changed a bunch of it. We were originally driving down to PC....13 hours driving.:scared: So just out of curiosity I checked out a couple of airfares and they have gone down from the last time I checked, so we are now flying into Orlando on the 19th instead of driving. So that means we now have to rent a car....ok, got that planned..will call in the a.m........and since this will cost us more than driving (even though the air tix were fairly low), we are cancelling our ressies at the radisson and staying at la quinta....all we need is a clean room...and we have points at la quinta (since our cross country trip this past summer with the dog)....So I am happy to be flying instead of driving, but I am disappointed that we won't be able to have a mini meet with Cinnamike and the Annihilator.:sad1: Truthfully, guys, we would have gotten in so late that we would have had to wake y'all up to meet us.:rotfl2:

Good evening ladies!

OMG Robin, you're right about Chuck's shirt. And if I recall correctly, it wasn't even real velour!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: Don't you just love my "big hair"? I just wish I had half of that now. I probably worked on that "do" for an hour and used a can of Aqua Net to hold it in place.:rotfl:

I remember when I was in grade 4 in Montreal (1982) I had my first "crush" on a boy. Just before I moved here to Calgary, there was a school dance and we "went" together. My biggest memory of that dance was slow dancing with him and rubbing the back of his shirt, it was velour  :cool1: :rotfl2:

Popping in to say hello and good night... :goodvibes

Paige, why couldn't you fly in one day earlier and come to WDW to booze'n'grub with Jason and Plankton and me? We're harmless ... really. ;)

And by the way... Ms. Paige...

every time I read that you were "boo'd by a goose" I think of Gone With the Wind and how Scarlett always says Melanie wouldn't "say boo to a goose."

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Off to exercise. I can't do mine at 5am like Robin :sad2: No way no how!!

That's "Miss" Paige...In the south, everyone is "Miss", married or not.....Like Miss Ellie on Dallas. I can't decide if it is our way of not taking on the man's identity (even though we take his last name) or if it is just stupid. Today, stupid wins.

I can't believe we'll miss y'all by one day. :scared1: Actually, by flying down on the 19th, we now have to pull our kids out an extra day of classes......bad parents.....Like I said, we're southern. That fancy schoolin' ain't all it's cracked up to be!:rotfl2:

Oh yes, You have to love Aqua Net!!! Thanks for bringing a :) to my face. Not only did it do the job to keep hair in place try getting it off whatever it was on. Like the floor or the bathroom sink, oh man.:rotfl: :rotfl:

A friend of mine just emailed me to tell me that the Baltimore news mentioned my hometown in Louisiana. It seems a councilwoman from Baltimore wants to try to pass a law that was passed in my hometown(Delcambre, LA) this summer--no more saggy pants in public. Yes, that's right, no more saggy pants in public. Now if we could just have the girls wear longer shorts....:rotfl2:

To tell the truth, I don't see too much of that at my kids high school. Of course they go to school on the Marine Corps base. Hell, half the school is enrolled in ROTC.:lmao:

D'OH! My Yankee-twang done carried over into my computer-speak. :lmao:

I actually think it's kind of charming ... familiar but not too familiar. Maybe it's just that I've spent too many years studying the American South.

Poopie-bewbie (that's my youngest nephew's favorite "swear" ) - how early do you get in on the 19th? Not that it probably matters because you will be renting a car and driving to the coast while Jay and I pass out in the World Showcase somewhere between Ireland and Germany. :lmao:

And something tells me you're not bad parents. Whatever your kids miss this year they'll catch again for years and years. Heck, the first two years of college are like high school re-dux anymore.

Yep we fly in some time in the evening and we can't wait to speed to our beautiful oasis awaiting us--LaQuinta Inn.:lmao: For 75 bucks a night, I'll be happy.....more drinks of the day for me!
