Hi Jen....how are you today?

Not bad - getting ready to pour myself a cup of coffee and start working!

I'm hoping to work on my t-shirts tonight...I've never done iron on transfers before, so we'll see how it goes. All the WI KKers got our bracelets from Jeff last Sunday, and it was so fun having something with the group name on it I decided to do t-shirts too!

Karen and Jen and anyone else who was interested in prices for Christmas cards from Shutters I have looked multiple places and found some of the stuff from our cruise last Oct. but of course I could not find the envelope with the receipts in it  So I did a search on the cruise board and here is a link to a recent thread where someone was asking the same thing http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1564034&referrerid=&highlight=shutters+christmas+cards

These are the prices that someone listed: 40 for 39.99, I think 60 was 59.99, and 100 was 99.99. I hope this helps!

Last cruise in 2005, I found the way to do a release of your photos so that you can take them anywhere and get copies made.:

Release Your Photos
Would you like to reproduce the photos taken by the professional photographers onboard your Disney ship? Visit https://www.image.com/html/guest-postcruiseCopyrightReleaseForm.cfm to request a copyright release form, which you will need to show to photo duplicators or copy shops if you’re hoping to make copies of your photo.

It's cheaper this way.

Actually though what I did was uploaded one of our favorite photos to
snapfish and had my Christmas cards made through them. It was cheaper.

Carrie - the girls' pictures look so nice!

My daycare did portraits a couple of weeks ago - I'm waiting for the proofs now. I'm hoping they come in soon. I love having profesional pictures done - I will probably spend WAY too much money at Shutters!

Good for you Jen. It's all getting so exciting...and I wish we were nearer, so that we could've met up with you all last week.

Thanks for posting this! I may want to do this if there's pictures I want to make a bunch of copies of - my family is really into pictures.

I am now getting worried that my DIS Gifts may be too heavy for fish extenders.....My parents are driving to Florida before we fly so they have agreed to carry the box down in the van so at least I dont have to worry about the flight.

I may have to just leave them on the floor as I dont want anything broken.

Does everyone have a fish extender?? I havent decided if I will get one/make one or not - what does everyone else do?

Someone made the suggestion of buying a trick or treat bag to use instead of a fish extender.
I thought that this is an excellent idea since it is so close to Halloween anyway and this is something we can buy cheaply and not have to make!:thumbsup2
That's what I'm doing!

That was me - and I finally found one I liked! One more thing crossed off the to-do list...

To save packing space so she does not need to bring a hairdryer, curling iron, and brushes. Carrie has choosen to shave all our heads:rotfl: :rotfl:

candyman

hahahaha Good thing you'll have a great shirt to wear...that will keep their eyes from staring at your heads.

A shiney bald head FO for me? Makes me think of Coneheads.

It was a lot of fun - we'll all feel like old friends by the time we meet on the ship.

Say, I'll probably be at the Mickey pool with Thomas anyway - feel free to show up before 3!

AAAAAAAAAHAHHHHHHH!!!!!

This has not been a good night. My son just called and said our daughter-n-law is spotting and is hoping she is not losing the baby. She lost twins before Addison was born. She goes to the DR. tomorrow at 5.

Say a prayer for us. :sad2:

Just got another call. My Dad got combative at the nursing home and they just took him to the alzheimer's phsyc ward at the hospital.

He was trying to pull mom out of bed because they wouldn't let him sleep with her. He said "Come on, we're going home"

He then swung at a nurse and threw a blanket over the other nurse.

I was planning on going to bed early, but I might as well stay on the boards...
I sure won't be able to sleep.

Sorry for all your troubles Robin,
Hopefully the spotting isn't anything to worry about, I've had this happen before and it was all ok.

What happened with your dad, what I've highlighted, it's just so sweet:love:
He still loves your mom, deep down, underneath all that is going wrong in his brain and body his love for your mother is left untouched:hug:
That is just so awesome.

Her fave color is pink so everything is pink, and she does not have a pink dress right now. She keeps asking me for one but since they really can not wear them to school I figure why bother.

She wears uniforms to school? My kids both have to. 10th graders HATE that you know.

Karen--brisket is a cut of beef, like a roast.:thumbsup2

Thanks - I dont eat much meat - not too familiar with the cuts etc. I onlt tend to eat filet mignon or the odd casserole - I just call it stewing steak though

Karen...any luck. Look out for a UPS van!

No sign of either parcel:rolleyes: - did go out and get the microwave though but I dont think we missed him

Good for you! - I did tshirts and they turned out ok - I'd never doone them before either.

We intend getting on early and heading straight for that pool. See you there:goodvibes

Are you taking Thomas to see the kids club that day? We are taking Ellis - not sure when though! - when ever we get a second to spare I guess!
