This does remind me of the time a month or so ago we sent DS(11) into A certain restuarnt (that is oarnge and white and the mascot is an owl) to get a togo menu. !
5-7 minutes later I had to go in and get him. For real!!

That's funny as heck! That reminds me of my freshman year of HS. All the maturing girls. My eyes were as big as saucers for the first month or two!

Now I will have to go look at what side of the ship I am on.... hmmm... I think right side.

Yep, right side. Which is, as I just looked up, Starboard. You'll have a great view of CC!

I'm glad you did!! That is what I will do then because we are all picture takers and only taking one camera and one camcorder. I will read the book to set the resolution up for the cruise... I may have to ask for help again to figure out what resolution to choose...or do you just go to the top one?

If you've got the space, Max it out! you can always make your pictures into a lower resolution, but you can NEVER increase resolution without deteriorating the picture quality.

The board might just be rocking tonight... I hope by evening there are a lot of upgrades given out.

I hope so too! The Cat 10 and 11's may have mixed feelings about an upgrade unless they land in Cat 6 (having to go down so many decks, as Jeff pointed out) but the cat 6-9 folks may have surprises yet!

WOW! You guys have been busy today. Last I read Steve got an upgrade and now it's 12 pages later.

So Kira FINALLY cut her 5th tooth this morning

CONGRATS MIKE & ROBIN!!! That's fantastic news. I'll have to do the DIStag list over again, but that's just fine. I think I'll wait to update it again until all the upgrades are out.

im not sure. robin did a scrap book for them years ago and included some of his war history. she did an amazing job on it.(but then she is good at everything she does )
he never talked about the war when they were growing up but 10 years or so ago he opened up to me and was telling stories.
he has some pics from japan, as they were some of the first guys to go in there after the bomb.

My dad never told stories either until my kids were in school. He was in WWII on the German side though. My kids had reports to do in high school where they had to interview a vet. Imagine the teachers surprise when they realized the story was from the other side. The stories are sooooo interesting aren't they?

So am I............and I'm a good shot!

im 51 years old and i still get like a kid at xmas every time we get ready to go on a wdw vacation. im popping pepcid ac and mylanta like crazy because im anxious to go.
i used to do the same thing when the kids were young and they had ball games. i would get nervous in hopes that they would do well.
is it just me?

Count me in Mike. I have some good stong stuff that the Dr finally prescribed for me. I have to take it on a daily basis because of my bad tummy. Sorry, TMI huh?

im 51 years old and i still get like a kid at xmas every time we get ready to go on a wdw vacation. im popping pepcid ac and mylanta like crazy because im anxious to go.

Not so much a nervous stomach, but I can't sleep for anything! I plan on taking an ambien on the 17th to get a full nights sleep. I won't sleep much on the 18th because I will need to leave my house at 2:30am to make my 6:30 flight! then on the night of the 19th I will not want to sleep too long because I'm going to be up at the crack of dawn, with any DIS'ers that want to join me to secure that first bus to the port!

Well I am still trying to get to page 3000. hahahahahaa Ok... let's see... I am not worth anything tonight. Dinner is done and cleaned up and I'm going to do a Carrie and get tomorrow nights done too so I can just warm it up since I am busy all day tomrorrow. But other than that... Not much. Kids are both online too so no packing really.

Cass I loved the diaper cake idea. I got one for my 1st kid... 16 years ago. It was made with cloth diapers because that was more common then than now. I love them with the pampers. I like the name you picked as well.

The only thing I could come up with was Sassy Cassy Cakes.

And well... that could get the guys imagination rolling with possibilities. hahahahahahahaa

When you are trying it out do your neighbors come out to watch? I would love to have a neighbor like you. We do our best but nothing like that. We go to a town that the whole town (very small little community) agrees to decorate if they move there. Part of their covenants or something. hahahahaa

i am kind of off topic but i have a great idea for one of the days at sea we should have a time where everyone is in there room and all the kids can go trick-or-treating we can go around the ship in our coustumes and we would only knock on the doors with a sign that says something like trick-or -treaters welcome or another signal and i think all the kids would enoy it so i can't wait to here the replies

Yup, I have a nervous tummy lots!! I guarantee you I will have it the night before/morning of our flight. I LOVE to fly, not worried about that but all the planning and time put into the trip, just anxious I guess. Then I will get it again the night before/morning of the cruise

That's cute! For some reason Rob's extended family ALL call me Cassie (in person, in bday cards) and I have NO clue WHY??? They have been calling me that for 11 years now, so I am used to it now

Actually, my sister Deb did it for her son 15 years ago that's where I got the idea from. But back then there was no photoshop so I made cardboard cutout numbers for her. That only worked until about 35 weeks then he started to eat them I am actually a few weeks behind posting them here I think. I am going shopping in about 10 minutes but I will post them later tonight after Heroes

My mom's dad was a POW in Germany for 39 months. The Scottish army eventually pronounced him MIA so his wife remarried and had another kid during that time. When he got out, finding that his wife had a new family, he moved to Canada to start again when my mom was 16. He never ever talked about it.

Hi everyone. I've been trying to keep up on all of your posts, but I know I have missed some (alot) of them. My husband, daughter and myself will be on the October 20th Magic Western Cruise along with all of you. I was reading about all of the upgrades and when I checked the Disney site I was surprised to find that we have been upgraded too--from Cat 9, Room 2080 to Cat 6, Room 6128!! My only concern is that I picked my prior room to be mid-ship and the new one is aft--I'm a little concerned about movement because I sometimes get motion sickness. This is our first cruise---has anyone been in Room 6128 or near there? We are very excited!!!
