Not really. I cruised with two of them in 05' and still keep in contact with them now. I pop in to talk to them every now and then.

My youngest was doing homework and he had to take his spelling words and write the letters downward and use each letter to make a desert. When he got to T he said tart... like that lady... tart animator. I don't know what a tart does when it is animated. So he thinks you are a dancing Tart. I said no, that is Big Red... hahaha

CONGRATS MIKE & ROBIN!!! That's fantastic news. I'll have to do the DIStag list over again, but that's just fine. I think I'll wait to update it again until all the upgrades are out.

Thanks... Mike called me at work to tell me. I think he was a "little"excited.

My dad never told stories either until my kids were in school. He was in WWII on the German side though. My kids had reports to do in high school where they had to interview a vet. Imagine the teachers surprise when they realized the story was from the other side. The stories are sooooo interesting aren't they?

Very interesting. I just wish I knew more, but you couldn't ask because he never wanted to reflect back. Once in a while he'd tell a small story. So we just got bits and pieces.

I do know he was in Guam, then the Philippines, and Japan somewhere along the way.

I'll never know now. If I asked him now, I'd probably send him into a sundowner.

My Mom said he came home with malaria and was sick for 6 months.

Count me in Mike. I have some good stong stuff that the Dr finally prescribed for me. I have to take it on a daily basis because of my bad tummy. Sorry, TMI huh?

He has done that for years. Mine never bothers me.

Doesn't happen very often but it sure is good every now and then. Yes, all day long pretty much. I felt like Carrie... running here to do this real quick and then checking to see if anyone posted... then finally getting up to do this and then back on the boards. Now I played with my signature because I didn't have anyone to bother. hahahahaa

Well I am actually leaving for the whole night. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night I will not come on here and post 100 more posts. I don't seem to sleep during the full moon and I know I am not a vampire.

I decided I needed a face lift. hahahahaha

When I finally got my little bouncy guy to bounce I had lost my name and picture and who knows what all else. So now i am dressed again. I even picked on Big Red today.

At least your's bounce. Our smiles don't even move. I still can't figure out why.

Congrats on the upgrade. If you got my old one, then you got a good deal. I picked my room because it was close to the elevators (but not too close.) A hop skip and jump to the laundry, Starboard side (view of CC), Aft (quick trip up elevator to drink station), and not near any noisy lounges! Like I said before, if I didn't get upgraded, I wouldn't have had too much of a problem. It's a great room for whoever gets it. Now, I may have a bit of a walk for my Diet Coke, but the view will be worth it!

Good cabins... You're just forward of the midship lobby on the same side as us. I guess we'll be running in to each other.

H i everyone I just got on here and it looks like some people got upgrades! Congratulatons to those of you that did I just checked our reservation on the DCL site and we have the same cabin as we booked, but that's OK because we have a veranda already anyways this time I can't wait to read back and see who got upgraded to what. I might not get caught up much here tonight though, the seaon premiere of CSI Miami starts in 20 min

Karen maybe someone already answered this for you because I am about 20 pages behind catching up but just incase no one did the answer is Yes! We had our picture from formal night made into Christmas cards on the cruise the same week last Oct. They have a few different Christmas backgrounds to choose from for the Christmas cards.

I read in the passporter that you can get family shots made into xmas cards at Shutters - is this only near christmas or will we be able to do this?
