I have heard of him. I came up with a plan to keep him occupied for a while. I know he loves to crunch numbers; so I was wondering how many more posts and pages we would have if he added up all the multi posts, and counted them as 1 post each?

I told my son that he is not to hang out on deck 10 just because his g/f has "personality".

Why? as far as i know it is just us getting together to shoot the breeze and relax.

Tommorrow is their 1 year anniversary. He has one silk rose and is buying 11 real ones and has made a card to tie on that says, "I will love you until the last rose dies" So sappy.... the problem is that she might worry for a while because it will take her a good minute to realize one of the roses are fake.

I just noticed on my latest " DCL refresh" , I booked a year ago yesterday. You'd have thought I'd have got an upgrade on the anniversary wouldnt you

Seriously though - that year has gone so quickly..not long now folks - 18 days til we fly

YESSSSSSSSSS I couldn't recall what you all called them. She had such nice personalities that I was afraid that she might black an eye out in her bikini top.

How do you know which side of ths ship is facing the terminal and CC and such?

I know that in CC, they nearly always back the ship into port. The reasoning is that in rough waters, if they can back the ship into that narrow channel then they will most certainly be able to pull out forward. Otherwise, if they had to back out during rough seas, they may get stuck there until the ocean calms some. (now wouldn't that be a bummer, stranded on CC!) When the ship is backed in the right side is facing the beach at CC. I paid attn to this when we booked our room because I wanted the view. (not that I'm willing to part with my verandah to get it back!)

sorry guys, but in all the excitement about the upgrade, i called dcl and had them switch all you late diners to early so we could all be together.

Have you ever watched a tv show called A Haunting? It is usually on Discovery channel. Anyway, some of the stories scare me a bit and then I won't go upstairs and take a shower or shut the bathroom door behind me. hahahaha What a chicken I am huh?

That one is a scary one. I've seen it a few times.

This does remind me of the time a month or so ago we sent DS(11) into A certain restuarnt (that is oarnge and white and the mascot is an owl) to get a togo menu. !
5-7 minutes later I had to go in and get him. For real!!

Ok... I saw prices for camera cards listed but here's what I don't know. I have a Nikon 8.0 with a Compactflash 512 mb. I know my settings are not high resolution although I have no idea what it is set on... set to upload pics on the computer for viewing houses....

Ok... how many pictures will it hold? Any ideas? I have had 292 at one time and no idea how much more room was on there. I don't know to go buy another one or not. I also have no idea how much room is on the camera itself without the card.

The nice thing about your camera is that it supports CF cards. Those are Cheap! Your camera supports the 8mp resolution and if you set the camera to use that resolution, you would get very high quality photos that could be blown up to about any size that you wanted. 512mb is not a lot of space for such a resolution. My camera will do 5.1 megapixel and with a 1 gig storage card I can get over 700 pictures on it. That means that I am using aprox 1.2mb per picture. At full resolution I believe that your camera will use 2.2mb per picture and so you can expect to get aprox 230 pictures stored to your CF card. That gives you a 32 picture/day allowance. Kinda tight. I'd consider a larger card to compliment the one that you have. Or better yet, try this on for size:

Hitachi Microdrive

This baby fits in your CF slot, it's a tiny Hard Drive similar to the one that you see in one of the old iPod mini's. At $80 it's a steal! (that's about half-price) It's 4gb of storage space. It'll store about 1800 pictures! or 259 pix/day at full resolution!!!!!!

I'm glad you did!! That is what I will do then because we are all picture takers and only taking one camera and one camcorder. I will read the book to set the resolution up for the cruise... I may have to ask for help again to figure out what resolution to choose...or do you just go to the top one?

The board might just be rocking tonight... I hope by evening there are a lot of upgrades given out.
