LOL!! Sounds good! :thumbsup2 As long as they don't charge the price of a new coffee table to my room! :lmao:

True that. We can always put it somewhere with a sign that says stollen from room whatever... or store it on someones balcony until the end of the cruise. Kira will bump her face on it anyway because she should be walking all over by then

That's cute! For some reason Rob's extended family ALL call me Cassie (in person, in bday cards) and I have NO clue WHY??? They have been calling me that for 11 years now, so I am used to it now :rolleyes1

I just wish I was a little sassier :lmao:
Is your full name Cassandra? Cassie is cute. I got called Susie for like forever... still do from family. At least with Kira it is short enough that she shouldn't get labled with a knickname.

Actually, my sister Deb did it for her son 15 years ago that's where I got the idea from. But back then there was no photoshop so I made cardboard cutout numbers for her. That only worked until about 35 weeks then he started to eat them :lmao: I am actually a few weeks behind posting them here I think. I am going shopping in about 10 minutes but I will post them later tonight after Heroes :woohoo:

HOw long did she do it weekly? Did she then go like monthly or yearly? I have a few friends who are pregnant right now and I told them how neat it is to look at the pictures. We watch Heroes too so I'll be off for a while.

Hi everyone. I've been trying to keep up on all of your posts, but I know I have missed some (alot) of them. My husband, daughter and myself will be on the October 20th Magic Western Cruise along with all of you. I was reading about all of the upgrades and when I checked the Disney site I was surprised to find that we have been upgraded too--from Cat 9, Room 2080 to Cat 6, Room 6128!! My only concern is that I picked my prior room to be mid-ship and the new one is aft--I'm a little concerned about movement because I sometimes get motion sickness. This is our first cruise---has anyone been in Room 6128 or near there? We are very excited!!!

We have never been right in the middle and my oldest tends to get a little motion sick. He didn't have trouble with it. Most of the movement is during sleeping hours and early morning. I'm sure everyone will have a great view. Mine is that of a teens as I only get extremely sleepy when it gets rocky.
Congrats on your upgrade!!!

When you are trying it out do your neighbors come out to watch? I would love to have a neighbor like you. We do our best but nothing like that. We go to a town that the whole town (very small little community) agrees to decorate if they move there. Part of their covenants or something. hahahahaa

Actually, I have the main show portion set up in my garage right now. I've been tweaking the computer settings to get a show that will cycle continuously until a set stop point. I'll not be unveiling my plans until the night before. (even then there will be a partial breakdown to keep theft down.

The street that I live on is similar to the small community that you speak of. However only a few of us do Halloween. But Christmas. That is is a different story. Nearly everyone participates. It is optional to be a part of it, but I believe that you have to be a first class idiot to move onto a street like this and not like to decorate. Because whether you do it or not, the entire county will come driving by your house.

Oh ok... that is really good then because I want to try to take a picture of my room from the outside somehow.... I will figure out a way... maybe at CC..

I just looked up your room. Believe me, you will not have any problem with finding your stateroom from outside the ship. The problem will be the same as any large object. If you are far enough away to get a recognizable shot of the ship you will not see your room well, but If you are close enough to get a good shot of your room then it may as well be a verandah on any ship. My guess for the best shot of this type would be at CC, find a place you can stand outside of the ship that you will be able to get the most of the ship but still make out your room, then have the kids go out onto the verandah and act crazy (or somesuch you won't be able to make out small details like smiles) It should be a good picture.

i am kind of off topic but i have a great idea for one of the days at sea we should have a time where everyone is in there room and all the kids can go trick-or-treating we can go around the ship in our coustumes and we would only knock on the doors with a sign that says something like trick-or -treaters welcome or another signal and i think all the kids would enoy it so i can't wait to here the replies:goodvibes

Not off topic at all. Sounds fun.

Welcome to the thread. Congrats on the upgrade. You should have a great time in that room. You are very close to the kids clubs, very easy access. Hopefully you have no probs with seasickness. My son can be a bit motion sick at times so this is a concern for me too. I plan on bringing a lot of different meds so that I can use the best one for the circumstances.

My family loves Halloween so they would love to decorate like that. We are not doing much this year since we will be gone. But that is too cool. We want to one day make a haunted house.

that is too true. I know the traffice at Mcadenville backs up on the freeway every night near Christmas for like all 3 or 4 hours that it is open. It becomes like a tradition though. I always wondered what it would be like to be one of those houses. Now I can say I at least know someone that does it.

That is what I will try. Maybe I can get some bright colored something and hang it on the chair up there or something hahahahaha

I have a friend who is a nurse and she swears by the patches. Perhaps you can get those and not have any trouble at all.

Almost time for me to sign off for the night and let you all type hundreds of posts while I am sleeping.

I wonder if you cruise at Christmas if you can put christmas lights on your balcony?

And what would families with little children do without a tree in your room?

Wow... I have posted a ton today. Like 75 posts or something.

Another FO? No one to steal it? Oh... I forgot... he's not on right now.

:lmao: :lmao: Funny you should say that. I was just reading back and told Mike, you've been on here all day. :woohoo:

Gotta love that. :thumbsup2

Doesn't happen very often but it sure is good every now and then. Yes, all day long pretty much. I felt like Carrie... running here to do this real quick and then checking to see if anyone posted... then finally getting up to do this and then back on the boards. Now I played with my signature because I didn't have anyone to bother. hahahahaa

Heeeey... new avatar. NICE!!! :)

I decided I needed a face lift. hahahahaha

When I finally got my little bouncy guy to bounce I had lost my name and picture and who knows what all else. So now i am dressed again. I even picked on Big Red today.

Quick FYI..

Looks like the DISers on the cruise right before us are getting their docs today.

Now if you had me on block you would be like... wow... where did all those pages in the middle go. ahahahahahaha
