I posted question on the main board. I'll let you know what I find out.....

From the main cruise board...

I ordered my rewards card before our cruise but only got it for the minimum amount (20 points?). I COMPLETELY forgot to transfer our remaining balance of 300-something points before our cruise. I just went down to guest services and they connected me on the phone to have the remainder of my points transferred. Then I handed them my card & had the balance applied to our on-board account.

lets see if i can get one to come up. its one of my favs from 2001 cruise.
she seems pretty happy for just getting off the ship.:confused3
thats because we still had a few days of wdw after.
plus the fact that she was going home with me. that would make any girl happy.:cool2: :cool2: pi

Heather - you seem like a real cruising expert - what would you recommend to have with us for contingency in case of sea sickness. People have told me to bring a couple of different medicines as no one medicide works for everyone

what are your thoughts?

Jessalynn,

I can tell you the only thing that works for Suz is the patch. It can only be gotten here in the States via perscription. Not sure how you get it up in Canada.

Surprisingly, we had a very smooth cruise this past January and she didn't need it at all.

They last about 2-3 days, so a supply of 3 is needed for a week. You put it right behind your ear.

That's good news for you Paige.

I would still transfer as many as possible prior to leaving just so you have those in case something goes wrong with it.

But, like I said, you could always do it via the internet. I'm sure one of the fellow KKers who are bringing a laptop would rent you some time if you are uncomfortable doing it on the Public computers.

Does this mean more drinks on you this cruise?

Not a Disney Pic, but I just wanted to share this one with you all. Kristin is on the right with Tony right next to her. Then guess who the other little boy is? If you guessed her boyfriend Jesse, you are right. Jesse and Tony have been best friends since Kindgergarten and now it looks as if Jesse will be a new son for me soon. (At least they are talking about marriage...probably more than Tony & Stacy are).

By looking at this picture, I guess it was just meant to be.

LOVE IT NANCY. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Just a quick note.

Tony ordered his Rewards card last week Thursday and received it this Tuesday. C/h/b Monday if it wasn’t a holiday.:thumbsup2

I have heard people say the patch is great as you dont have to think about it - but one person said that they found their vision went blurry on it. Did Suz have any blurriness?

I ordered it this morning after reading your post. I keep thinking we have lots of time before the cruise, but it's getting close, isn't it? After the points post this month, I will transfer those. The ones I accrue between 25Sep and 25Oct will just be a good headstart for our WDW trip next summer--I made those reservations yesterday!

Thanks for the welcome for Rob, y'all. His job is really slow right now, so he may post more.....As for now, he is done--He just called me from work; he's sick  (a sinus infection, I think) so he's coming home to rest before we have to get to the Open House at the Middle/High School....poor guy. At least 2 of us in the family get sich when we move. I think our bodies are so exhausted and our sinuses have to get used to the different trees in the new area.

Do y'all know if they ever post FL resident/military rates for 7 day cruises? I call my TA today to see if they have put out any, but DCL told her that they usually always put them out for 3 and 4 day cruises. Very rarely to they have them for 7 day....

He is yummy, isn't he? ;) The yummiest!!

The first two sets between Federer and Roddick were amazing - no service breaks... can't remember the last time I've seen that. Felt kind of bad for Roddick - he played as well as I've seen him play in a long time and it still wasn't good enough.

Yeah, Andy has tough luck--he does usually give a pretty funny interview though!

There has been some terrific tennis at the US Open this year - the last few nights have been especially good. I'm looking forward to that semi-final match between Venus Williams and Justine Henin ... that should be good.

U.S. Open has been phenomenal this year--even the early rounds have been great--the Sharapova upset especially!!

did he get the free disney luggage? we set a disney visa up for dd and they said with the first time she uses it she will get a 3 piece set of disney luggage. robin called last week after the first use and they said the luggage would be shipped soon. :thumbsup2 dont know how good it is but the picture looked nice.

Roger Federer doesn't really look "sporty" if you ask me - actually his build reminds me a bit of Jason's, just a bit leaner. I don't like it when guys bulk their muscles ... I find it aesthetically displeasing. ;) And here I thought you liked Rafa...

Mr. Federer is dreamy ... intelligent, well-mannered, handsome, hard-working, physically fit. Oh, and did I mention incredibly successful and wealthy? :rotfl2: ...but you are actually after MY boyfriend!!

I am fond of the Homer look when it comes with beer... :lmao:

Brenda, did you ever see the photo spread of Mr. Federer in Men's Vogue? It was almost too much for me. Of course, part of his charm is how much class he shows both on and off the court. I love his quote about his REAL girlfriend Mirka: "None of this would mean anything if I woke up one day and Mirka wasn't laying next to me." How sweet is that? I also loves how he manages to be confident without coming off arrogant.

I think she might have a little blurriness. I'll have to ask her tonight.

Go easy on me, I'm a virgin to this. Just trying to figure out what my wife is doing all day instead of the cooking and the laundry.
welcome.:cheer2: i too am a virgin.
sorry, i couldnt resist that line.

I swore on one of my other 7-nighters there was a DISer who came on because of the military discount or got their rate dropped because one came out. This would have been for a January cruise though. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I don't wants the red head, we gots the red head.

And may I say from all of us, glad you didn't get the FO.

Take the dress back to the store with the recipt showing that you paid a higher price - they should credit you the difference. That's what they do over here in the USofA.

BTW - am going to try to send you those pictures from Victoria and Albert's again tonight after I get home. Be warned ... they'll probably be out of order but still yummy! Not as yummy as Roger Federer but yummy nonetheless! ;)
Amen!!

So, I was searching online and found a link for some refurbished ink cartridges for my printer for about 1/2 the price. Awesome, right? So, I emailed DH (who has the LAST WORD on anything we buy for the 'puters because he has to fix 'em if they get screwed up) the link to the site asking him if he thought these would be ok. Now, not 2 minutes after I emailed him, my phone at work rang. It was DH, advising me NOT to buy them...they could wreck the printer. I just thought it was so funny - he called right away to make sure I didn't order them anyway! Sigh...he knows me too well.:scared1:

Anyway, to Carrie, Cass, and Nancy...thanks for the offers! I'm thinking I may just bite the bullet and buy the ink after all. I have 4 door signs made, plus I want to do special ones for formal night, pirate night, and one or two for my mom's door. Add to that the t-shirt transfers, and I may just run that whole color cartridge out anyway!
