Well, Trashing my own camcorder is a price of my insanity, but someone elses? I get a bit Amazingly cheap and simple to do though.

I grew up in Southern California and lived with my mother who worked very hard at a time when single parenting was not a common thing. So money was scarse mostly.

One night I had a dream about this place. It was like a town and so colorful and clean and everyone was smiling. I was carrying a balloon and licking an all-day sucker. There were 4 other children there, which was very odd since I was an only child.

Two days later I turned 7 years old. The morning of my birthday my mother's boss and his wife and kids came and picked me up. My mother's eyes were filled with tears and I wasn't sure what was going on. I think I was a bit scared that i woudln't see her again. But we drove and drove and I got to know the kids as they were close in age.

We pulled into a parking lot and I realized it was Disneyland. I had never been but had of course heard of it. They bought us tickets (they had the color coded A B C D E ones then) and we went inside.

You can imagine my confusion as I was walking down the streets that I had dreamed about just days earlier. It wasn't until we were leaving later that night and I was carrying the balloon and eating the sucker that I realized that this was exactly the point that I remembered. Deja Vu.

That family did something special for me each year after that. They sort of adopted me I guess. I even spent summer vacations with them.

I am still undecided about dinner. Maybe I'll just make some lumpia and rice. Sound good?

July 29th 2007-- This Thread has grown beyond all of my expectations. An excellent and wonderful group of people have met here and we are now all planning our vacation knowing that there are only a few days until we leave. I absolutely remember you!!! You guys were just down the hall from us. We wrote little notes on your dry erase board. We had 7562 and will have it again in 07. So glad you will be there again. We did have a fun bunch of DISer's didn't we?

Jo and Danny (Perdidobay) are planning on cruising again with us. So far, that's 3 of us going again. I just hope we don't have to nickname this group the "Molar Express"!!!

No, but Carrie was on Ebay earlier looking at Disney stuff wow there is alot of stuff. She does alot of ebay selling (nothing is safe in the house) , and some buying when there are good deals.

that is funny. Did she ever take something and sell it that you really wanted to keep?

My mom and dad just pulled in the driveway to wish her a happy first day of school. Mom could not get out of the car since she is radio active but it was a cute moment for both Mackenzie and my mom.

I bought a bunch of Disney trading pins on ebay. for the kids... not me... although I did see on there that you can get things for your Waldies or whatever you call those holey gardenlike shoes....
