We have Sean, DS6, convinced he will love Splash Mountain. We'll see if he actually gets on.

Ellis was terrible about going on the rides last year ..He even cried in line for Peter Pan . However, once the bad parents had dragged him on once so he could see what it was like he was eager to rejoin the queue and go again...and again...and again. He was much better this time at Port Aventura (Universal Spain). He wouldnt go on the coaster similar to thunder railroad to start with, but then rode it 4 times in a row once he'd got over his initial fear. Its the drop on Splash that Ellis hates.

After our picnic, we did a little rock climbing. These rock formations were made by the miners spraying water at the rock in high pressures. They would then sluice the runoff for gold flakes.

This is Stuart sitting at one of the 150 year old desks. This is a part of the schoolhouse that most people NEVER get to go into. Usually you only see this area through glass. Stuart and Leah even got to ring the school bell.

Staurt turns to Dad and says "Geez Dad....you've seen one school you've seen 'em all".

The Park rangers had a variety of games out there to play. Similar to games that were played in the 1850's. Here I am teaching the kids how to play with a hoop.

It's customary to wear light colors in the spring and summer and Dark colors in the fall and winter. Advice I largely ignore. But good luck finding white shoes in the fall. Black shoes sell pretty well year round.

As to Labor day... I'll be Laboring. The ER knows no holiday.

Karen - follow everyone else. You are directed to the left, thorugh the promenade lounge and then catch the lift (elevator) outside Parrot Cay upto Deck 9 and you're there. I have never yet got to eat in Parrot Cay on embarkation day...perhaps this year????

And, what a gorgeous house! How many bedrooms are there? I couldn't keep up. The back yard is just awesome. You guys will have so much fun there. Do Lilo and Stitch like their new digs? BTW, how do they get along with Kira?

It's a three-bedroom house, but I wish it was four Lilo loves her new yard, she's a roamer, but Stitch is a bit of a suck and likes to stay with us. Lilo pretty much ignores Kira, I don't think she knows what to make of her yet. Stitch is a fool and loves ANY kind of attention so she crawls over him and he loves it I think he will be Kira's dog

Before you know it, you will be moving your desk because Kira will be old enough not to get hurt--yes, those days come faster than you think.

Thanks! Actually, I think I have already changed my mind. Rob doesn't know it yet cus he gets home at 4AM but he's gonna be moving my desk downstairs to my scrapbook room. I want her to have more room, so I think I will just keep the laptop in the bonus room.

Harrison was playing with his train set behind me and all of a sudden I hear "ball" followed by "baby". i think he is in love!!!!!!!!

Can't believe I only had 4 pages to catch up on! Rob had to take the laptop to his dance, they had a slideshow for the wedding, so I was without internet all afternoon and evening.

You've come to the right place: I used to sell these things.

How much should you spend. It depends upon the features that you want it to do. Remember, these things will last a long time. You will want to be happy with it for a long time. Your former microwave is a 600 watt. You will want at least an 800 watt and about 1.1 cu ft. Other options are convection,(expensive, but adds another oven to your kitchen) turntable, (a must in my book, but most MW's today have this) A good selection of programed options on the keypad ( popcorn, reheat, defrost) You will need to examine them to see what serves your family the best. If you want something neat and have money burning a hole in your pocket, then go for the over-the range type that replaces your above-stove fan. It frees up space in the kitchen. It appears to me that a basic unit is selling in the $85-200 range. Since I really don't care much for using the microwave (When I cook, I like to do it the old-fashioned, stove-top/oven way) I usually find the cheapest thing with the most features out there. If your a modern Betty Crocker that uses the crud out of your machine, then I would suggest budgeting more money for it.

I knew you could help but I didn't think you could help that much. Thank you so much. No wonder the micro we have does not work that great even before she caught it on fire. We are wanting to go with the over the range one. That is a must for me right now. I could care less about the "easy buttons" as I never use them. Our popcorn buttons always burns the stuff but that is the only button I use. I would like to get one with a rack and of course the turntable. Other then that after reading reviews about black paint peeling from the steam of the pots under it we have decided to stay with white. Really don't want to spend much more then $300. I really don't even want to spend that much. Thank you for your help.

Yep, I'm with you. I installed a whole house fan a few years back to keep from doing that, so I get testy when I can't turn it on and forget about the AC. I've been lucky and have been working in an air conditioned Hospital through most of the heatwave but my family not so much. Laura put them in the bathtub today so that they could think they were swimming!

Sorry, can't agree with you on the heat, I'm a Chicago-native and have never gotten used to the Desert-like summers of the California Central Valley.

You should come to AZ for the summer heat. At least you guys cool down some at night. We don't it is a true desert summer.

We too were interrested in a camcorder. We will be interrested in the feedback. Biggest concern here is the ability of the camcorder to pick up sound. As well as the quality of the sound.

Me too..our last camcorder was rubbish at picking up sound.

fantasy cruise continued....
we awake at the butt crack of dawn because robin "doesnt want to miss anything" we have our early bfast at topsiders. can you believe she eats oatmeal every day?

....while heading to dinner we noticed an english lady washing all the windows (portholes) on the ship. it was our own karen mouse!! it seems she hasnt gotten over her obsession with washing windows yet.

Holy cow! - really? - in England almost everyone replies really quickly. You may have to chase the odd few but on the whole your replies come in quickly. There is no way I would order food for people who may or may not show up - how disrespectful that they dont answer

Ewk! - sorry but I hate fish. I cannot stand swimming in seas with loads of fish - I'll be the nutter splashing around in ankle deep water petrified incase one comes near me.

It seems to be in the US no one RSVP anymore.

Foo Foo Drinks are the girly drinks, anything that is not wine, beer or margaritas. They are typically frozen drinks that look pretty and taste great.

As for all the fish the only reason there were that many was because I was throwing bread at DH's head while he was in the water getting all the fish to come to him so I could get him to get a good picture. I was out of the water on the edge of the boat because I got stung by a jelly fish. Heck I am not going back in that water.
