Yes, it is!!! But I knew it would come eventually! I just gotta keep moving! Next week should be better, it usually only lasts 2-3 weeks. Hopefully I can be good this week-end I am going out for dinner on Sunday for Rob's bday but I will behave mostly

Cass - I about fell off my chair when I saw the Sofa King pic. That is the funniest ad ever! Very clever! Super Kitty was pretty funny too.

I think it was Lori who posted the porta-potty video. Too funny! How embarassing! I laughed when the people actually went back in. Like there's another door in there!

Thanks so much for posting these funny things. I'm so glad we all have the same warped sense of humor! What a great bunch we KKers are!

And is it really only 10 weeks til the sailing. Woo-hoo! Amazing!

Got a phone call today from DCL to upgrade to a higher category, but on a different sailing. I'd forgotten that way back when we booked this in March 06 that I requested to be waitlisted for some other categories on our sailing, and the one before and after ours. At this point, I declined. 10/20 is our sailing date! No way I'd change now and miss all my KK friends!

Suz also came home and we had to show each other the clothes we each bought. I spend about $300 tonight and she spent about $400-$500, but she had DS's stuff as well.

Ok I have popped in here and there and haven't really introduced myself. Since everyone seems to have gone to bed I thought this would be a good time, with all of the posts I felt like if I did it then I would be interuppting something. I have really enjoyed reading all of your posts, well some of the posts there are so many. And I think Cass has done an awesome job on the website. I hope to meet some of you on the cruise, although DH is shy..well wary of meeting strangers I think it has something to do with the job . DD is also very shy due to having a disability, but we are working on that as well.
So here it goes.....
My name is Becky. I will be traveling with my husband Sean and 14yo daughter Sarah. This is our 2nd cruise as a family, but I have been on 3 DCL cruises total. I also have a son Devin who is 18 and not cruising due to starting college this year, which is hard for me because I think I am too young to have a college student. We live in the Central Valley in CA where I am the head secretary of a elementary school, DH is a deputy sheriff. We are DVC owners and like all of you I am a disney fanatic. In fact at school I am the resident travel agent when a staff member goes to disney. I tend to lurk more than I post, I just feel real self consious about it for some reason, I think it is like email you are just not sure how you come across, but I have found DIS people to be very accepting.

She is more scared that she will not be healthy enough to go. She really wants to go. She wants to be there for the kids, but at the same time she is afraid of letting them down. The dr. yesterday did say that she has a high level of anxiety and some depression so he put her on the same meds I am on. They have a 4 week onset. I have been on mine 3 weeks and have felt a difference. So I am hoping she starts seeing and feeling better in the next few weeks.

I'm glad that her depression is being addressed. You have my prayers that the meds work and your mother can get back to herself.

The cable guy turned out to be a computer geek and he showed me how to get out of the BSOD! (It happened while he was here!!) He's coming over in a couple weeks to clean up the 'puter.

Horray! That rocks.

Stuart's party was a big sucess! The Kids all had a great time. It was Pirate themed. We served Pizza and Fruit Kabobs to the kids. Had a Treasure Hunt. (I planted clues about the house and yard that led to the sandbox, which I had buried a bunch of plastic jewels, gold coins and beaded necklaces.) Laura made each of the children a flag and I cut out some sponges in various "pirate" shapes and the kids all made their own pirate flags. Here's a few pics of the two:

He really couldn't wear it long. He's outgrown it before he even had a chance to wear it. Oh well, he's been telling me that he wants to be Capt'n Hook on the cruise.
