Well I think I have run out of things to post for tonight... So I will go away now and come back tomorrow night. Maybe... busy day tomorrow but I will try to find time to pop on so I am not like 40 pages behind or something.

She is doing portraits, weddings. Probably whatever anyone wants. She's doing my boss's daughter's wedding reception in Nov. (She actually got married in Mexico and have a reception here, so Cassie is coming up to shoot it.) Cassie lives south of Dayton, 5 hrs. from here.



She'd love doing your pics, I'm sure, but she's not going on the cruise.

We're taking her and her boyfriend to Disney World in April 08.

How Exciting.... pictures are such a great gift....

I have family in Marion...a bit north of Columbus.

We were all changed over to a provisional broker. those with less than 5 years were told we have to do 3, 30 hour classes over three years... over 5 years had to do 24 hours more... anyone who was a broker was free and clear. So I have done 64 hours so far this year... and will do the last 34 hours just to be a regular broker and have that taken off my license. I think they did it to try to eliminate all these in house one person real estate companies... but the problem is that bad agents will always be bad regardless of the education you give them.

I like to say that if STUPID were painful, people would cure themselves.

And I know a few of those "BAD" agents. This is a "sue happy" country (and we're the highest sued professionals). It seems those bad agents never get sued.

Since I got this job in Workers' Compensation, I put my license in a referral program. A broker holds my license and I refer buyers & sellers to good agents. I get a percentage for very little work or liability. This way I can keep my license active and I don't have to pay Board of Realtors dues. (that's pretty pricey, they alway come due at Christmas time)

Well if you ever get someone moving down my way, you can refer them to me. I love the whole referral thing...I feel like it makes us more valuable to them when we make sure they are taken care of on the other end.

Our Realtor dues are due in the summer but our multiple listing dues are quarterly. At least they are tax deductable...but they do rack up a chunk of money.

Ohhhh ok. that is helpful. Someone that Mary works with told her that the 10 dollars was because you pay to get out of your dining rotation and that it wasn't a tip at all and I just didn't know how we could possibly calculate a tip if we weren't paying for the food at all. Ok... I'm good now. Thanks Steve.

Has anyone heard that one of the new ships that Disney is building will do an Alaskan cruise? I want to sign up.

No word yet but the rumors state that there won't be alaskan cruises.

Heather, our family really enjoyed the videos. DD Julia (4) loves seeing the characters and the pool of course and Scott my DH loved the apple pie story. We had to listen to the Canadian Beaver for dessert several times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to DCL's website the following Cat 6's are available (using 2 adults and 1 child age 7):

So there are at least 15 now.

I have for one of my previous cruises actually went through ALL of the rooms from Cat 4 down to Cat 8 to see what was available. If I get a chance I will try to do that again. What needs to be done is put in EVERY Cat 6 room number and see if it comes up.

I do remember that year we got upgraded from a Cat 9 to a Cat 7. Other people were going from Cat 9 to Cat 6. Being SPH Cat 10, I don't think we'll get one this time.

The upgrades came in early December for the 3rd week in January, so if we see them, they will come around September 1st. After the auto upgrades, nothing was available at the port.
