Goodnight Lori........I'm not far behind you. Mike and I haven't hardly had a chance to say Hi to each other tonight let alone spend any time together! See ya in the morning!!

I thought that was a really odd concept myself when I had Mackenzie. But my mother was great with her. She took her over night one night a week and kept her 2 days a week so we did not have to have daycare. Then she would even take her on weekends for Scott and I to have time together. At that point my inlaws did not want much to do with Mackenzie. Now that my mother can not take her my inlaws actually offered to babysit the other night for Scott and I to go out. When we went to pick her up they asked if she could spend the night. Talk about a role reversal. My grandparents would not spend time with me unless I went to them. So my mother would ship me over every summer just to make them spend time with me.

I don't get it. I have a feeling that I will try to be stealing every moment I can with them!!!

I'm glad to hear she is doing well.......maybe some of the memory loss will return in time......I hope so. Is she still coming on the cruise with you? It sounds like if she does, she might not need your help all the time.....I'm still hoping that you and your DH will have some alone time to relax, drink and enjoy.......

At this point the memory is getting worse not better so I hope it improves soon. Yes she is still comming on the cruise. I hope we get some time to ourselves to drink and hang out with everyone. We are sending our kids to AFEG's room just so we can get some time to ourselves.

Great for your inlaws!!!! Thats the way it should be......because they want too, not because they have to!!!

That is the problem in our house. Everynight I get on to check and that means his nights off I am sitting in front of the computer and not with him, so he really is starting to feel a little left out. Hmmm. Maybe after the cruise I will have more time to sit with him and watch tv.
