Morning lady's i came on for a "play" last night only to get kicked in the goulash by Brenda's post so decided not to post in case the DISS police took a dim view of my thoughts.....Nancy glad your mam is feeling better....

ps.....Who's going to give us are UK morning chuckle now?....:sad2:

What is it with Uniforms and you???

Perhaps, we could have a Cheesecake eating afternoon just for the ladies?

Heather

  first our american friends are after my Ripples and now you're all after my cheesecake too:scared1: - come within 10feet of my cheesecake wheel and I WONT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ACTIONS. I'll get little Elouise to guard it for me;) If you get past her then you deserve a slice:rotfl:

I love that cheesecake. Its one of the first things we do - Walmart - stock up on essentials - wine, beer, cheesecake. I have it for brekkie, lunch when possible and then late afternoon snack and lastly dessert after dinner. 4 slices a day on average:rolleyes1 - why do I put on loads of weight on holiday???? - I just dont understand it:rolleyes1

Neil has to be extra good to get a slice:angel: - if I'm feeling generous I sometimes let him have a slice to share with Ellis :rotfl: - see... I told you I was generous!

Oh Brenda, I sorry to hear all your bad news and it's shame that you can;t now make the cruise. I know what it's like, you only need one thing to go wrong and it seems like the whole world is after you.

Never mind, things will look up and maybe you will win the lottery and come back on the Magic with us all.

Love the pics of all your dogs. Crufts is on at the moment up in Birmingham and there's lots of media atention on all sorts of dogs.

Have a good day everyone.

Heather

PS - Karen - we'll need to take our own stash of cheescake on the boat, as the stuff they serve on the boat is horrible.

I had heard it wasnt very good:scared1: . I might just have to smuggle a wheel onboard in my carry on - trouble is it might get squashed between all those wine bottles and beer cans:rotfl: I bet there isnt room in the cooler fridge thingy in the room anyway:sad2: - I might just have to do without cheesecake for a week:scared1: :scared1: - oh my god!

Yes Cass, Cabo San Lucas is our 60 pound, 21 month old yellow lab "pup". Mind you, he wasn't too happy wearing Kristin's Hollywood glasses but still sat for 4 pictures until he had enough.

Heather, what/who is Crufts?

Heather and Karen...you don't like the cheesecake on board? Hmmm, I kind of liked it. Then again, I'm not much of a "connoisseur" of sweets lately, just a "sewer" for carbs! ;) I think I've lost my good taste for sweets since they were cruely plucked from my diet years ago.:guilty:

Ok..KK's, I have a few questions.

1) Who and when do we call to get a case of bottled water delivered to our cabin?

2) How do I get my hands on one of the "Happiest Celebrations on Earth" cds? Tried e-Bay but I guess I slept through the bidding time and lost out on it.

3) I would like to send a "Perfect Gift" gift basket to my kids onboard. What things do you think I could ask for to be in their baskets? Tony is 26, Stacy will be 24 as we cruise. Then in the other cabin is Kristin 23 and Jesse 26.

Thanks:yay:

Have you tried disneyshopping.com ? You may find them there

Thanks Steve. I'll give it a try.:)

Brenda,

Sorry to hear you won't be on this cruise in October. I can relate on how you feel not getting to cruise with this fine/fun group.

Hope all your troubles clear up real soon.

Jeff

Heather

What, us guys don't like cheesecake? Or is it you just don't want us around?

If we were their, both Suz and I would be up for this. :thumbsup2

Nice pics of all the doggies.

I can't post a picture of our pet because we don't have one. Not even a fish.

Maybe I could post a picture of Suz. Would that count as a doggie picture? :lmao: Good thing she never comes on this thread. You would then see a picture of me in the Dog house. :rotfl:

Well seing that I'm not 23 yet. :rotfl2: Does this mean I can call you mom? :rotfl: I was getting use to Grandma, you old lady. :lmao:

Seriously, what would they not pack that they would need? I would start with a couple of those items. But then again, since they are your kids, I'm sure the "what to pack" will be covered in your next family cruise meeting. :rotfl2:

Do they have any treats they like? Did they give anything up before the cruise? I would go for that next.

Lastly, is there anything you wish you had on your first cruise or saw other people with that you wish you had? I'd go with those items.

Otherwise, just load it up with junk.

Now if you want to have fun with it, have them put it in a sand pale and make sure it says "from Mommy". Treat them like they are 20 years younger. :rotfl2: Hey, maybe you can then be 20 years younger. :thumbsup2

Heather, what/who is Crufts?

Crufts is the world famous dog show i thinks it's known as the most prestigious one anywhere in the world,as it happens i saw about 20 minutes of it last night and i have to say they were dogs on there I'd never even heard off let alone seen before, the one what stood out for me was the pharoah you know the one like you see in the old Egyptian drawing, christ i thought the dog was a myth not a real breed.....:rotfl2:

Man the board is quiet today. Are all of you tired from the time change?

BTW, do you in the UK observe daylight savings time?

How about a nice cover up for the girls - sarong type thing? - nice and light to pack too:thumbsup2 , waterproof camera for when they are goofing together in the sea and snorkeling, a nice bottle of vino?, chocolates, bat and ball set for on the beach - just tell them not to play it by me:mad: - that tap tap tapping noise drives me crazy, frizbee, you might be suprised how much fun they get out of kiddie stuff like that cos they dont often get the chance to play together anymore:goodvibes, baseball cap for the boys?, highlighters for the navigator,

I'm not much help am I:confused3 - now if they were 6 I'd be full of ideas!:lmao:

Karen, you had some great ideas!! I think I'll ask for some Crazy 8 cards, Old Maid cards, the cameras, candy for the theater, chocolate, and of course a case of bottled water for each cabin. My kids aren't wine drinkers but they sure do like their Malibu Rum. Thanks for the ideas.

Steve, I couldn't log onto the disneystore.com. My PC just hung up. I'll have to give eBay a try again.
