I sussed you the other day when were talking about the bottled water:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: GREAT NEWS JEFF

I was dropping a couple clues that last few days as it looked like we were going.

I added "Oct '07 - Western" to my signature and then added a countdown clock a couple days later.

We obviously have some kind of bond... ;)

How'd your appointment go? Good news???

Mmmm, not so good. I'm PMing you.

Edited to add... I'll be just fine!! Nothing to worry about.

Which of these do you like? I might just put them all in!:cool1:

These are my friendship quotes I want to have made into cards, for my 7 friends for my 40th birthday bash. I am having them made into place cards for the resturant, and to carry the theme on, Thank you cards with the same quote on.

Ideas anyone......... seeing you're all my mates too.:grouphug:

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

They are all nice, but this is my favorite.

do you have any recips for a speacial gumbo i never tried it.

Kaitie,

The way I make gumbo, I would have to show you how to do it. I don't use measurements. But for what it's worth....You start out with a roux (about 1-2 cups for a pot of gumbo)and cook(medium heat) it, stirring continuously, until it is the color of an old penny. Add your onions and peppers and sautee until onions are clear. Add your chicken and smoked sausage and "brown" the chicken while mixing it with the roux. Add water (enough to make it a soupy consistency) and simmer for a couple of hours. If you make a seafood gumbo instead of chicken and sausage, you add the seafood at the last 10 minutes of the simmering part because seafood only takes a little while to cook fully. I always add green onions at the end too.

what is a "borat"

Oh Katie....you may be sorry you asked!! Take it Jeff!!:thumbsup2

I don't know if I should. Don't want to corrupt the minor. Maybe we need permission from her mom. If she posts that it is o.k., I will post it.

Anyhow, Borat is a character in a movie that came out over the winter. The actor, Sacha Baron Cohen, wore a specific swimsuit. Not sure if it was in the movie or not (didn't see the movie), but we just refer to it as Borat.

Needless to say, it isn't a pretty picture. :scared1:

Jeff, I think you are very wise to repsond to Katie's question in that fashion.

Katie, you should probably ask your mom or dad about Borat - we're not really the people who should have that "conversation" with you. :goodvibes
