Now Brenda, when are you and Jason going to announce your
plans to recruise with us?

OH JEFF and SUZ what wonderful wonderful news !

Man U winning, getting a handbag and now Jeff and Suz crusing with us... what a 24 hrs its been ! :cool1:

Actually...brandy! :thumbsup2

When we were in New Orleans a few years ago we had breakfast at Brennans one morning and they offered Brandy Milk Punch on the morning menu. We'd heard Emeril talk about it on his show once and decided to give it a try....it's sooooooo gooooood!!!! :thumbsup2

We actually make it at home now over the holidays - our friends and family show up at the house and the first thing out of their mouths is, "So, uh, you got any of that milk punch stuff?" :rotfl2:

Recipe Plz!! :flower3:

Crap!! Pardon the expression...;)

Gotta have a full abdominal CT on Friday morning and a colonoscopy on May 14th. And then I may have to change my drugs...great choices, too: steroids or Imuran. I can turn into a man or I can deal with lymphoma as a side-effect. D'OH! :headache:

So sorry to hear you have to go through yet another "oil change". I don't understand the 4 weeks of liquids though. Plz explain...(PM me)

I make the Brandy Milk Punch too! Brennan's is out of this world, isn't it? Rob and I went there for our honeymoon (supposed to have a Disney honeymoon, but Persian Gulf War changed that) weekend, and even had a bottle of wine with our breakfast. I had to hold on to chairs for balance as we walked out! I think I probably touched a few patrons shoulders for balance as well. So you see, Chris, in some places, liquor at breakfast is fun....and a must!:lmao:

Recipe Plz!! :flower3:

Ok, btw.....I am still here.......

HI Everyone! Missed you all!:grouphug:

Just still adjusting to new schedule and lack of sleep!

Glad to see you back Rose. Hope to see more of you too.

Now Brenda, when are you and Jason going to announce your
plans to recruise with us?

I can only wish!:guilty:

……..to the title of NON-Konked Kruiser that is.
As of Monday night, we are officially, 100% for sure, going on this cruise. I am now a Konked Kruiser.

Excellent news Jeff. Now we can get to know one another before the Repo.:cool1:  :cool1:

……..to the title of NON-Conked Kruiser that is.

As of Monday night, we are officially, 100% for sure, going on this cruise. I am now a Conked Kruiser.

My 1,000th post couldn’t have been better timed.

Our vacation time has just been approved and we purchased our airline tickets on Monday. We will be coming down on the 19th, hitting DTD (Blizzard if it is nice out) and then heading out to Port for that night (figures the ONLY Friday in October they don’t have MNSSHP would be the 19th). After the cruise, we will be heading straight home. I’d like to spend more time down in FL, but just getting on the cruise will be great. We figured there was so much we didn’t see at the stops in January, that we could do them this time (hoping we don’t get a rerouted cruise due to weather). Plus, the cost per night of doing the CA trip was much more than the cruise, and we had free airfare to CA.

So now you are all stuck with me.

I sussed you the other day when were talking about the bottled water:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: GREAT NEWS JEFF

RIGHT MISSY THAT ONLY LEAVES YOU AND JASON,COME ON WERE WAITING:rolleyes1

These are my friendship quotes I want to have made into cards, for my 7 friends for my 40th birthday bash. I am having them made into place cards for the resturant, and to carry the theme on, Thank you cards with the same quote on.

Ideas anyone......... seeing you're all my mates too.:grouphug:

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

My father always used to say that when you die, if you've got five real friends, then you've had a great life."

"A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like
is shown by the kind of friends he chooses."
- Proverbs 27:19

"Friendship doubles your joys, and divides your sorrows."
- Unknown

"Friends are those rare people who ask how you are
and then wait to hear the answer."
- Unknown

"Friends are the chocolate chips in the cookie of life."
- Unknown

"Friends are the angels who lift us to our feet
when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."
- Unknown

"Wherever you may be it is your friends who make your world."
- Unknown

"I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh.
But I never knew looking back on the laughs would make me cry."

Seriously, I'm very happy for you and the family Jeff. Welcome aboard!!:yay: :yay:

Bananas Foster (Antoine’s Restaurant)

Ingredients: - 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup banana liqueur
- 4 bananas, cut in half lengthwise, then halved
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream

Directions:
• Combine the butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a flambé pan or skillet.
• Place the pan over low heat either on an alcohol burner or on top of the stove, and cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
• Stir in the banana liqueur, then place the bananas in the pan.
• When the banana sections soften and begin to brown, carefully add the rum.
• Continue to cook the sauce until the rum is hot, then tip the pan slightly to ignite the rum.
• When the flames subside, lift the bananas out of the pan and place four pieces over each portion of ice cream.
• Generously spoon warm sauce over the top of the ice cream and serve immediately.
Serves Four

Thank you all for the welcome back (kinda weird when you don't leave. Like a stray cat. :rotfl2: ) I am so happy to be joining you all on this cruise (at least I think I'll be happy :lmao: ). It will be a blast.

Sorry I didn't post earlier today. The garbage truck clipped the cable running into the building this morning (the line wasn't high enough - below the code height).

We lost the guide wire 2 weeks ago, but we thought it was due to the heavy snow we had. Thinking back, it was on the same day the garbage came that week. So I called them this morning and they actually owned up to it.

Needless to say, I'm finally back online. Good thing, I was getting tired of working. :rotfl2:
