Taking our DD who will be 6.5 and our DS who will be 4.5. I'm terrified to take them at this age but our circumstances have given us an option to go now!

Going to be booking a flight from Buffalo to Orlando

How do you get in on the FB October planning group? I am so overwhelmed by dining booking.... AH.

Why are you so terrified of taking your kids at those ages? Disney is a great place to go at that age, or any age for that manner.

I'm a nervous traveller and I have 2 kids who have spicy personalities so I worry about their behaviour when we are there and how they will sleep etc. We have never vacationed with them other then camping. I'm sure we will adjust and I will have to relax my expectations because when I was last at Disney I was much older then them.

We're going October 12-19! The kids don't know yet- Planning an unbirthday party for them this summer to let them know. Staying at our 2nd choice, POP. AoA was booked. So excited!

We're going 10/10-10/19! It will be DD8 and DS6 2nd trip. We chose Oct. because we really wanted to experience MNSSHP. We can't wait! The kids don't know yet and we probably won't tell them until the morning we leave!

I want to do that too, but kinda worried about them finding out from family. How are you going to hide the suitcases and stuff. I can't work around that.

I always hid the suitcases in my room. I'd either put them back in the corner where they normally sit, toss a blanket over them to hide (and claim my room is messy), or stack them in a closet they never open. Once I explained it was a surprise to family, they were great at zipping their lips. I avoided family who may have been apt to spill the beans.

Everyone has their own agenda for a surprise trip. I'm sure others will weigh in with how they managed.

We are going oct 18-26 and staying offsite since we got a fantastic deal on a friend's timeshare 2bdr condo. This will be our first time going in Oct. Very excited to go to MNSSHP and F&W. It will be myself, dh, ds (10), dd (9) and dd (8). So excited!

We are going October 13-19. I am so excited and obsessed with planning. It will be me, DH, DD (4) and DD (2). We definitely want to do MNSSHP, so I can't wait for them to announce the dates officially since our plans are really based on doing the party on a specific night. It's also my DH's and my 8th anniversary on the 15th, so we want to plan some sort of date that night (not sure what we will do).

Just booked our ADRs this morning!! CRT and Chef Mickey's for breakfast and Be Our Guest one night for dinner!! Staying October 2-10 @ POP. Also booked Pirates and Pals Firework Cruise for the first time...hopefully my DD(2) will enjoy it!! Countdown begins!!

Not at all. I called right at 6 am and she gave me options for times (the earliest available was 4:45) and I got the 7:30 pm reservation that I was wanting. The online reservation booking wasn't working this morning for some reason! Good luck!!

It's weird seeing everyone talk about ADRs, last week I got excited seeing we were close to the 180 day mark and then it dawned on me that this year we are doing DL in Oct so I don't have to worry about reservations (to the more popular restaurants) till 60 days out this year. Good luck to everyone on their ADRs
