Man that took alot of BBCode.

For anyone wondering, my sister and I are keeping track of all of this via a private Facebook group.

Starting to wish we went with an extra day or two. Ah well, whatever we can't make will most likely be there next time. ;)

Speaking of schedules. You should see what I did to the closet door in my bedroom. (Oh, I can only imagine what you're thinking after that statement.)

Anyhoo...I have different colored index cards. Yellow is breakfast. Purple is lunch. Pink is dinner. Then I have little white ones with the days of our trip. I've taped the white ones up and the colored ones underneath with our tentative plans. How many times do you think I'll be moving those around between now and my ADR day? My husband keeps making jokes about it being time to "change the board."

Totally need to see this!!:thumbsup2

If you weren't already dating someone, and I wasn't already married...and I'm pretty sure I would need to be quite a bit younger:rolleyes1, I would want to marry you!! I LOVE THIS!!!:worship:

Oh I love this. Take a pic for me please! :thumbsup2

I have a question about CRT. I want my DD to experience BBB before we eat at CRT.. should we do lunch or dinner? Are the characters the same for both meal times? The park closes for a MNSSHP that day that we are not attending.

When we did it with my DD a few years ago, we made her BBB appointment at 8am. Then we enjoyed fantasyland, took pictures, and did CRT for lunch. Now they have the same characters for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She wants to do BBB again this trip, but I haven't figured out when we'll do it.

mjallemand - That's a good idea keeping track on a facebook group. My SIL and me are keeping track via google documents. I have quite a few spreadsheets and one word document.. LOL. We have a spreadsheet where we are listing all the places we want to eat by park, which we have begun to narrow down. Another lists all the must do rides, with a column to put everyone's favorite ride. Another was a cost analysis of various resorts at different levels. I'm now working on a spreadsheet that to price out how much we will spend on food. I will use this to do a cost analysis and see if we should get the dining plan, which would be a no brainer if they let you get appetizers instead of dessert.

Wow I'm just speechless :cool1: that you have the monorail and bus times down to the minute. This is definitely impressive. I may copy some of these times (if our October trip works out) so I'm wondering if you included any possible waits for either the monorail or bus?

Thanks,

Yellow: Breakfast
Purple: Lunch
Pink: Dinner

We are on the DxDP and we have 6 2TS meals - Breakfast at CRT; Dinners at Artist Point, Flying Fish, Citricos, Jiko and California Grill - so that is why there are only 2 meals per day.

white cards: days we'll be there with some park notes.

And the large white paper is my planning spreadsheet.

And here I thought I was organized with my planning...you all are blowing me away!!! :worship:

I LOVE this!! I have a BIG white EMPTY wall in my room! I may need to borrow this! I have a spreadsheet going but I keep tweaking it.. Maybe seeing it bigger and spread out will help me more!!

We will also be eating at a lot of the same restaurants!

That's why I did it. I was going crazy with notes and I have the spreadsheet on my computer at work because we don't have Excel on our laptop, so it was hard for me to work on stuff at home and at work. Then I thought it would be so much easier if I could just spread it out on a big board. At first I was thinking about spreading the cards out on the floor, but then I realized I could just post them on the door of the closet and it would make it easier to look at it and move things if necessary.

I don't have excel either. I lost it with my last computer crash!

Right now I am using OpenOffice (Downloaded from OpenOffice.org) It works a lot like Microsoft Office but free!

Thanks, I'll check that out!

Hubby got this laptop when he was taking classes through unemployment and it had all the office products on it since he was taking classes in MS Office too. But then it crashed and I had to reload it, but the discs they gave us with the computer were for Windows Vista and there was no office included. Luckily his classes were long done, so he didn't need them, but it was frustrating to not have the software.

I keep all my bills in a spreadsheet so when my computer crashed I was so scared I wasn't going to be able to get organized again since the Microsoft disc we have is somewhere in Colorado in a box. :rolleyes1

My best friend actually told me about Open Office and it does some things a little strange... especially every time you want to delete something but its working for me...

By the way! Completely jealous that your October trip is a debt pay-off celebration! We just took out a mortgage and have tons of student bills left. Also 2 car payments! Thankfully the credit card debt is gone except for a very small balance on my Disney Visa!

Sadly, none of our debt involved a mortgage or student loans. It was just sheer stupidity. But at least I was smart enough to work myself out of it. Although, my Disney Visa does have a balance now...for the trip. LOL. And the $$ for that is in the bank. I'm earning some interest on it since I have the 6 month interest free benefit for the trip.

And my AAA Visa is about to get hit with some car repair charges very shortly...like within the hour when I go to pick up my car. But that won't be sitting on the card for long either.

Oh, and our trip is also our 10th anniversary of when we met. We're thinking Disney Cruise for our 10th wedding anniversary - in 2014.

Hey! 2014 will be our 10th Anniversary too!

Good for you on getting out of debt! I actually traded Credit Card debt for the mortgage... long story on that one.. At least the mortgage is a tax write-off though!!

I love it!! So awesome! I think I'll make me a board like this.. thanks for the great idea!

Happy to share!

The stickers were a new addition today. I was at Target and they had these wall decorations on clearance. I debated and said "oh what the heck", so I bought them. I decorated the walls of our bedroom and used some on the planning wall.

Hubby loves them. Yep - we are big kids.

So, it looks like HDDR is going to be closed starting in Oct. which I am bummed about. I am keeping it in Plan A, but have Plan B as a back up. Also, what are your thoughts on CRT being closed? I've been reading my Unofficial guide and it talks about CRT closing for refurb when Be My Guest opens. I know at this point, we still don't know when that is opening. I'm going a little crazy not being able to hammer out our ADR's. I'm worried that we may be able to make a ressie for CRT 180 days out but will find out later that it will be closed during that period. Does anybody have any speculation on this or maybe more info than I have? I'm thinking about double booking ADR's just in case that happens. I can't wait for my ADR's to be booked and then I think I'll be able to breathe a little bit.

Thanks in advance!!
