Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! I ate too much but enjoyed every bit of it. Little Aidan and his mom came home from, the hospital and had Thanksgiving with us. He is such a sweetie.

Today we are doing stuff around the house and Paul is changing the oil in the car. Maybe I'll venture out to shop a little, maybe not.

I hope everyone had a very good thanksgiving. We had a really nice time. BUT The Big Guy woke up yesterday and said his ear hurt but then he played and acted normal the rest of the day. Brooke STILL has a stuffy nose and she was running a temp yesterday. SO, today I took them both to the doctor and TWO DOUBLE EAR INFECTIONS!!! Not one but two!!!! And in BOTH ears!! Garry is sooooo difficult to give medicine to! Needless to say, I NEED CALGON!!!!!

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.

We had a nice brunch at my parents and the dinner at the church was quite good. We had a really nice visit with my friend. I got to see her mom and grandma as well. We used to live next door to her grandma. We have been friends since we were 5 years old. That is a long time. She lives in Columbus now with her husband and 3 kids. She went to Ohio State for nursing school and her Master's degree, which she has never used. She likes being a SAHM and is homeschooling her 6 year old.

Jerry's dad is still in the hospital but doing better. He has congestive heart failure (CHF) and pneumonia. They were still going to run more tests. There is no mass in his lungs, which is good news.

Jerry worked from home yesterday. No shopping for me. I am not crazy!

Julie: You poor thing! We put Kaleigh's medicine in McD's milkshakes and she took it that way. She wouldn't take it any other way. I hope those guys feel better!

Going to a friends house tonight. This is the 3rd try and no one has cancelled yet!

Ok, this is interesting! I'm not sure if I like the new way the site looks. It will take some getting use to.

Not staying on long, have things to do. We are trying to put up the Christmas decorations up along with the tree. Anna Marie is outside doing the lights again!! (long story, but hopefully this will work this time!)


I'll check back in later! Have a good one. We are going to try to see Polar Express tonight with everyone, but Brooke. She is going to go to my mom's. Hopefully we can go!

This new look is going to take some getting used to. Wish I had time to play around with it now but I am in a cleaning frenzy and just wanted to take a quick break to say hello to everyone. I did a little shopping yesteray but not too early. I was pretty successful and only have a few things left to get. We are going to a minor league hockey game this evening so I need to hurry and finish my cleaning. I'll chat again tomorrow. Pixie dust to everyone still needing it!

Back from mass and breakfast. Where is everyone?

I got most of my cleaning done yesterday and I even got out Christmas decorations. The tree is up and it is beginning to look alot like Christmas. It was even cold yesterday.

So much for the hockey game. I really had my days mixed up. We drove over to the arena and no one was there. The game was Friday night!! Oh well. We came home and had a family TV night instead.

Hopefully someone will come out and say hello soon. I am getting lonely!

Oh my gosh, this is sooooo weird. It definitely will take a lot of getting used to. Changes are always hard. It is a little intimidating to me as a computer illiterate. Hopefully it works about the same.

I'm here Susan. Don't talk to yourself. Wow, it is amazing that YOU are the one talking to yourself. Normally we are begging you to come out. I was looking for a smiley but it takes too long.

Had a nice Thanksgiving with Ted's dad and Heidi's boyfriend and twin girls. Ted smoked a turkey and it was yummy. Friday we took off at 5:30am to shop. Yes, we are the crazy ones. Didn't buy much. Stood in line at Best Buy for Heidi's sandisk for her new camera for ONE HOUR. It was worth the savings.

Yesterday Ted had to go out snowplowing again. He might get called in again this afternoon. Not sure if his boss for his REAL job will approve as it goes past midnight on a work night. Not much snow but a lot of ice. The whole state is getting something. I found it interesting that Paul was changing oil in the car. It is much too cold here to do that!

Heard from Jeanne. Still having trouble getting on plus with the board being down it was impossible. I was to tell you all to have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Denine, glad to hear that Jerry's dad didn't have a mass. That was good news.

I tried calling Faith and Kristy on Thanksgiving but either they were having phone problems or I was. Not sure which.

Guess I will go and get some work done. Maybe I will check back later.

Since I am not a fan of beer, I am glad Sandy posted to keep me from pulling down the beer!!

It was cold yesterday but today was in the 60s so Turner and I got in a little tennis today (shorts were even ok). I had to get a little of this turkey off my thighs!

Just got back from BJs. Didn't really need anything but can always stock up on stuff.

I have a london broil on the grill for dinner. Definitely a good day to grill.

I posted a lot today since the work week begins and so does hockey and basketball practice. You all will be begging for me to post soon.

I'm here! We had a busy day yesterday. We finished putting all the Christmas decorations out and the lights for outside went up as well. Then Garry, Anna Marie,Makenzie, the Big Guy,and myself went and saw Polar Express. Good "feel good" movie. I really enjoyed it.

We then put the tree up last night and started the lights. We finished the lights today and put the ornaments on, so we are pretty much set for Christmas,decorations wise that is.

I got a great deal at the disney store on Friday evening. We need another stocking holder since we added another family member this year. So I went to the disney store and found stocking holders of mickey and pluto and another of pooh and tigger. So I decided that everyone will get a new one. I wasn't sure if I wanted to get all of one kind or the boys one kind and the girls another or what to do. Well, I decided to get 3 of each kind and I alternated the holders on the bookshelf. It looks real cute! The best part of the this story was it was buy one get one free!!!! On top of that, I got to use my DVC discount too!!! I was one happy camper!!

Well gotta go. I have to take Anna Marie back. I'll check back later!

Susan, glad you didn't resort to the beer. I hate beer as well. Icky drink, and icky smell.

Julie, sounds like you got a lot done. We only decorated our railing inside. We need to get out the tree and maybe start next week. Shhhh, don't talk about it as Heidi will start begging. Man, can she ever be a pain about Christmas decorations! Good deal on the stocking holders!

It is snowing like all get out. We even broke out the snow blower. Ted didn't go in so I have his help this time since Heidi abandoned me. To top off all this snow, the Broncos are hosting a home game right now. Should be interesting playing in all this snow. Being we are closer to the foothills perhaps the stadium isn't getting it as bad as us. Barb and Sally, how's the snow in the Springs? Guess I will have to turn the tv over to see how it is going. The Broncos are doing excellent this year. Go Broncos.

Does anyone here have a 712 area code? Someone tried to call me tonight at dinner with that area code and I didn't think I should pick it up at a restaurant. Sure wish I knew who it was.

Well, guess I will go check the game.

This new board looks weird. I guess it will take a little to get use to!!!

Mom now you make me feel bad about abandoning you, I didn't realize it was supose to snow that much. I was hoping to get work off today or atleast a delay but none of that happened.

If you watched the Broncos game, you know how much it was snowing here, the mountains got 3 feet this weekend and it is still snowing this morning. What usually takes 25 minutes to get to work, took me 45 minutes and it took me 30 minutes to brush off my car after Chris took off most of the snow. I love Colorado.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know I did. I thought of you all!! I had a lot of fun being a crazy shopper, but I got 3 really good deals so it was all worth it!!! And to laugh at my mom was definitely worth it.

Barb - how much snow did you get?

Okay our men need to take lessons. I just read on the cruise Disboards that a guy suprised his wife, signed up on the DISboards..called her out and told her to be ready because in 9 days she will be on the Wonder. Ya I am waiting for my man to step up!!!

Another thing I read on that board was that kids on the Wonder were sliding on the side of the ship off deck 9 onto the verandah's below....how insane and scary and stupid do you have to be. I guess they were teenagers.
