Julie: Continue to keep us posted about everything. We have had our share of $1000 vet bills. It adds up soo fast.

Barb and Sally: Welcome home! Glad you had a great time.

Went back to the doctor today. He gave me a breathing treatment and 3 new prescriptions, an antibiotic, a steroid and a cough syrup. Need to go get those filled.

I am trying to find out when the wines from my party will be delivered. I hope soon, people are starting to ask for them.

Stacey: Glad the doctor appointment went well. I hate shot getting time. I held off on them this time, but Kaleigh gets a bunch next time.

Wow Denine. They sure are pumping you with meds!

Guess what????? I heard from Darren. I was so worried about him because I sent him an email and it came back. He is ok.

Stopping in on my way to bed. Still not use to mountain time. It is 3 hours earlier in Hawaii. Going back to work tomorrow. BLAH!

Hello to all my Disney family......Julie so sorry to hear your sad news. There isn't anything anyone can say or do to make things better, but know you can come on board and unload anytime you feel like it. We can listen and send you our love and lots of hugs. Please take care of yourself....you have a lot of people depending on you so you can't get sick. I pray that God gives you the peace that surpasses all understanding.....I know that has gotten me though some tough times. Hugs and love to you!

Needless to say we had a wonderful time and so glad we were all able to go. Dick did so well.....was able to do just about everything everyone else did. He did things I didn't do and even rode the bike in the gym everyday. The kids are getting him one for Christmas. I know it will be a lot harder for him at home than at sea level but he is suppose to exercise everyday so even if he can't go as long any amount of time is good.

I have so much to do now I am home I don't know where to start. I have to do cards, finish 3 calendars, 4 albums and shop. I have a sore throat this morning so am hitting the airborne hard. There was a lot of flu on board but they did a great job keeping it under control.

Good Morning Everyone!

Back to work and working on answering 363 emails. Getting back into the swing of things is very challenging.

Is anyone considering going to Disney the first week of December next year?

We got in Monday night and home about 11:30pm. Tuesday was scrap book club, tonight we are going to Trans-Siberian orchastra concert, tomorrow is a performance/concert at church, Friday we are having a Christmas party, Saturday Tiffany fly's into Denver after we pick her up we are shopping in Denver then going to Casa Bonita for dinner then to the Nutcracker Ballet. Mom- I thought your post was very touching! It made me feel better and I was not even down!

Oh my goodness I have so many things to tell everyone about our trip. It was so much fun!!

Bob and I found another favorite painter while in Maui. His name is Christian Lassen. Has anyone ever heard of him? I hadn't. Well after spending a couple of hours in this gallery we bought one of his painting. I love his work as much as Thomas Kinkades. The piece we bought is called "Love's Embrace" I am attaching a link hope it works. I am excited to finish my bedroom now because that is where our picture is going. I think I want to repaint the bedroom though to match a little better. I bought a potty seat for our bathroom of one of his paintings.

Here is the link: Lassenart.com
I was not able to get a link to our painting but it is called "Loves Embrace"

I am trying to update my records for 2007 can I get everyones birthday again please.

Hey did you guys get my Christmas card?? Did you like the postmark???
Did you like the hand made card???

20st-Wednesday: Making cookies in the morning, shopping afterwards

First, before I forget, Sally, I eed your address. Your card came back. You can PM me.

Barb: Man, you get back from vacation and are off and running again. NO rest! Yes, we got your card. It was very cute!

Sandy: Glad you heard from Darren. I sent him a card.

Haven't heard from Julie. I hope they were able to help Riley.

I heard back from my wine lady. She is going to send in the whole order today. We were wating for Julie's order, but we all know what has been going on her life. She said we should have the wine's in about a week.

That cough syrup is great. It is a combo of benadryl and vicodin. I am already coughing much less. I can't wait to be back to normal. My asthma has never been this bad.

Unfortunately, I think Kaleigh's yeast infection is back, but she is still on Antibiotics and we all know what those do. So, I am back to putting anti-fungal cream on her.

I can't believe the mild weather we have been having. It was in the upper 50's yesterday and in the low 50's today. It is supposed to continue. This is much better than snow!

12 days until Christmas!

Now on to a happier note. It was so wonderful having all our kids together. THey are so much fun. We are so blessed to have such great kids. We all ate together in the evening and so if we went in different directions during the day we got caught up with everyone.

I had a wonderful surprise at dinner one night. Barb brought over an album and the family are all making us pages of childhood memories. The first ones I read was from Linda and it made me cry. You do your best raising your kids but it was so great to hear from them that you did a fairly good job and didn't screw their lives up.... :)

Everyone loved Hawaii.....it is so beautiful there and the weather was nice. On the way home we stopped over for a few hours in Mexico so Barb, Bob, Patti, Ken, Dick, Jaymee and I took a bus downtown. We ended up in a very dark alley like place that the bus driver said was a bus station....it was three stone walls and no lights. I thought oh, my goodness we are going to get mugged. Some of the passengers refused to get off but we did. We walked out to the street and Bob was talking to a guy to get directions to stores as everything around us was bars and what stores there were was closed. The guy told him where he could find girls and where some bars were but other than that nothing. Needless to say we decided to get back on the bus and leave. It cost us $2 to go there and we took another bus back and it was $l and Patti said she would have paid $l0 to go back to the ship. It was funny after we got safely back to the ship but kind of scary while we were there. Will make a great scrapbook page :rotfl2:

We went to a seahorse farm, Dole Pineapple place, sailboat ride where Ken did the hula in a grass skirt because they picked him. Did a lot of other things also.....Barb will tell you more.

It was wonderful but nice to be back home again safe and sound. We will spend Christmas with Barb and then we are all going down to Patti's for New Years.

Oh, another good thing is I came home feeling younger. I don't feel any different than I did when I was young but my body said are you kidding me?
But after being with my girls and hearing about their backs and knees hurting I decided I am just one of the girls.....

No...No sitting on the painting it is on the lid part. :rotfl:

How exciting to hear about your trip. It sounds wonderful. can't wait to hear more.

Barb - it was funny to read that you will be going to Casa bonita for dinner and then to the ballet. Casa bonita is not a very classy restaurant for dinner before a ballet, but it is a lot of fun. The food isn't great, but the atmosphere you can't beat. I can't wait to check out your favorite painter more when I get some time.

I am here wondering if Barb and Sally ever sit still and have time to relax, they are always on the go!!!!!

Denine - Hope you are feeling better. Asthma is so scary when you have a cold, especially in the winter. Take some time for yourself. We are having good weather here too, tomorrow and Friday are supose to reach to 60 degrees!!!
