Tiffany sent me a list of things she wanted to do while she is home. Casa Bonita was on the list so I thought... Barb, how can we get this out of the way and keep your "Super Mom" title....... (I am not a huge Casa Bonita fan and since I managed to avoid it her last trip I knew I had to get it over with) Since we will be in Denver any way it works out. Fun Fun place but the food is not very good.

I agree...Casa Bonita is not my favorite place but it is a fun atmosphere. I like the never ending sopapillas!!

Barb- have you even gotten a chance to sit since you got back???!!! You are such a busy person!!!

Barb: Yes, we are planning on going the 1st week of December 2007, so is Julie and, I think, the Dudettes. I want to stay at WLV, but we have to make ressies at OKW so we have something and then can try for VWL at the 7 month window.

My bday is April 25th.
Jerry's is February 3rd
Kaleigh is September 25th

Barb: I still need to check out the painter. I love Thomas Kinkade!

Good Morning!

Went to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra last night it was an awesome concert! If you have never seen them you should if you get the chance. We did not get home until 11:30 and not into bed until after midnight back up and 5:00. I am pretty tired today. Tonight we are going to a show at church so still no rest for me!

Yesterday we got a box in the mail from Bob's Mom. She wrapped everything in those plastic bubbles well Ethan found out if you walk on them they pop. He made me laugh walking and walking all over the bubbles.

No news from Julie.

We made paper snowflakes in school today. Kaleigh really liked them. It was actually my own idea, because we are discussing winter and we have no snow to make a snowman.

Julie: Any interest in trying to see Princesses on Ice together next month?

I am so tired of coughing my head off. He said it would take a couple of days for the prednisone to kick in. I wish it would hurry up already!

After school we put up our little tree. I have been wanting to do it all week, but it didn't happen.

Tonight Kaleigh gets her hair cut.

We are supposed to come up with a date to open our Secret Santa's now that Barb and Sally are home. I am available Sunday or during the week. What about everyone else?

Barb: Can you send me your mom's address? I haven't heard back from her. Her card came back to me.

Phew.... I am really tired today. I need a time out!

Need to start coming up with ideas on my 2nd Annual "Mother/ Daughter Tea Party" in May. I am trying to start planning it but I'm so tired my brain does not want to be creative today.

Bob and I have been going to make cute things for our yard for Christmas for several years not and never do. This year we are going to do it. I have some cute ideas of making the outside of our house a gingerbread candy house.

Guess I need to get my "2007 Goals List" started.

I am here now. I was at our Christmas Party. It was fun, we went to Simms Landing and paid $20 for a buffet that wasn't all that great. We did a white elephant exchange and it was so much fun. Lots of good laughs. I had a make-up brush kit, then a fountain, and then ended up with a coffee cup that plugs into your car to keep beverages hot. I don't drink coffee and I don't drive far enough to make it work so maybe it will work for Chris. I doubt he will use it because it is pink!!!

Barb: You are so out in front of me it is ridiculous. 2007 plans? The only plans I know of are for Disney trips!


Heidi: Your party sounds like it was fun. In all my years of working, I have only been to 1 Christmas party sponsered by work. The places I work at are just too small I guess. There wouldn't be anyone left to work!

Kaleigh's hair looks so much better. It was just getting waaay too long and scraggly.

Why is it that when evening comes, my patience is shot? It is like this even if Kaleigh has been good all day. Jerry thinks it is because I have been sick for 2 weeks.

I work tomorrow morning and then I need to bake for Kaleigh's party in the evening for Saturday. It is amazing. This is the first year we are going to the party and there hasn't been a snowstorm or deep freeze. It is still supposed to be in the 50's.

My mom says hi. She doesn't have a computer because they are painting that room but she wanted to make sure I tell you all hi. I went over there to "help" (aka eat) the party mix and peanut brittle. I finally got all my shopping done and have just a few left to wrap.

Where is everyone?

Jerry talked to Julie, briefly, last night. They got the results back from the tissue samples and it is lung cancer spread to the bone. It is a very quick moving, aggressive cancer. He will start chemo and radiation in 3 weeks. He has no more than a year with the chemo and about 2 months without. Sad situation.
The vet said that Riley is stressed out and that is what is causing the diarrhea. He is on medication for that. He also has a yeast infection in his ear and is on medicine for that. Julie doesn't believe it. However, we all know that animals are very senstive to to what is going on around them.
She has not had time to read the boards.

I had another bad day at work. They switched my schedule again without telling me and now I only have 2 days this month. So, I had to leave because the other person would not. I finally was able to talk to my boss about it considering all my time for January was crossed off. I told her I need at least 2 days. She will look at it by next week. I told her I felt like I was being pushed out after almost 6 years there. She said no. But it has been very upsetting to me and I have been crying a lot today.

Tomorrow we have Kaleigh's Christmas part in the morning. We will pick up Jerry's mom and then go eat breakfast and meet Santa. Tomorrow evening we go to our friends to play cards. My cake for tomorrow is almost done in the oven. Kaleigh helped me make it.

I need alcohol but I can't take it with my vicodin cough syrup. At least my cough is finally getting better. The prednisone kicked in.
