For Stacey's neighbor that lost her baby. I told her to make up a basket of bath stuff so that she can pamper herself. I have a CD and bath gels and baskets that I could add.

I made strawberry divinity yesterday that is to die for. I used strawberry jello. It is so yummy but boy did I make a mess. I can share the recipe if anyone is interested.

It is snowing and blowing like crazy today. Yuck! Supposed to get several inches.

Thinking about those that died on Pearl Harbor Day.

We made 7 bookmarks and several pinecones today. I painted them gold and Kaleigh sprinkled glitter on them. Tomorrow we will put string on them so they can hang as ornaments. The bookmarks came out really cute! The bookmarks and pinecones are Kaleigh's Christmas gifts to others'.

Jerry is coming home early today so I can go to my doctor appointment. I think he will be taking me in all this snow.

I forgot to mention that Julie said they can't start the chemo and radiations until the incision heals. So I am guessing not for 6-8 weeks, if he decides to go that route. I will pass on all your thoughts and prayers if I talk to Julie. She just hasn't had the time or energy to read or post.

I was supposed to work today, but they took it away from me. Just as well with the snow. I don't work until next Friday. Maybe I will finally be over this bronchitis by then.

Denine, sorry to hear about all your snow. I hate driving in it. I know if I had a Drs appt that Ted would take me, too. I bet Miss Kaleigh is having a blast with school. Sounds like you are doing a terrific job Denine!

I am in the slumps today and I just can't figure it out. I think it is because I can't find the perfect gifts. Then I wonder if it is because I just want to eat "real" food. Tired of not being able to eat what I want when I want. Or is it my stepdad wanting to make a big deal of decorating my mom's grave this Sunday when I really don't have time and Ted just wants me to go alone without him. I hate being down and not know why!

So I tell you guys that I am down and what happens????? The UPS driver pulls up, gets out with a big box, now I am getting happy, and then, I find out it isn't for me. I am waiting for so many packages to arrive. I am getting a little concerned.

Stace - mom is right, the website does not do the pictures justice. They are so adorable, now I want all of them. I hate making these decisions. I figured we would stop by after lunch so that they can eat and be ready to play!!!!!!

Sandy: I hear you! I have been a grump all week. I think it is a combination of things. I haven't even felt like watching Christmas movies.

Kaleigh and I finished our Christmas preparations in school today. The pincones came out really pretty. She chose who she wanted to give them to and I wrapped them in tissue paper. The rest we hung on the tree. Jerry keeps calling me "art teacher". I am SO NOT good at artisic things. I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler! THe only thing I am good at is counted cross stitch and I don't get to do that anymore.

I had my doctors appointmet yesterday for my back. He said it is a good thing that it has still been hurting. He said it is the inflammatory process trying to heal the ligaments and tendons. If he says so! He started me back on the Aleve and wants me back on the exercise ball. TIme to rehab he says. As we were leaving, he gives Kaleigh the biggest honkin' piece of chocolate. It came in one of their Christmas goody boxes. I am guessing he was giving away calories, but the thing is HUGE! I go back in 1 month.

Still snowing!

All of my presents are wrapped! I finsihed last night.

Don't know yet if we are getting together with Julie tomorrow. We were supposed to, but then all of this stuff with Garry's dad came up. I am hoping we are.

Denine, you made me laugh about the biggest honkin' piece of chocolate. Wish he would have given it to me! Brag, brag, I still haven't wrapped yet. I am doing better today but maybe cuz I am getting out of the house. I love Christmas music and movies and haven't seen any yet. Maybe that is my problem. I need to surround myself in Christmas. Stacey used a ball for rehab on her back too. I was always going to but never motivated. Now my back is pretty good so I don't have to. If you see Julie tomorrow please pass on a grouphug from all of us!
