I'm here Susan. The board really is slow! Gosh and I don't have anything to say either. Isn't there anything exciting going on with SOMEONE?

Good Morning!!

It was a slick drive to work today. But I am here. Went to Curves at 6:00.

Lori I will check into the Airforce Academy for you. I know Peterson where Bob works is 100% ID check. But the Academy has always let visiters in. Last year Jaymee graduated and the ceramony was at the Academy. It was a hassle because they were only letting people in that had Military ID's or you had to be preregistered and have a pass.

Tonight is rehersal for The Thorn. So it will be another busy night.
We are tanning. The director requested that everyone tan to make us look more real. Never thought I would see Bob in a tanning salon.:p

Barb:cool1:

Good morning! I thought I'd be the one to show up today when so many of the "regulars" are missing! :p

Barb!.......Bob in a tanning salon! I guess when the director says..... Ken needs a tan (or just some shade above white).....do they need any more actors?

Lori, I'm very sorry about your grandmother but the girl scout sleepover should keep your spirits up. I had a Brownie troop that I took on a sleepover at a cabin and it was a very long night. They think scaring each other is so funny  There is nothing in the world like a shrieking 7 year old girl in the middle of the night.

Hi to Barb, Mom, Denine, Bonnie, Sandy, Heidi, Susan, Lori, Krista, Julie, Jeanne, and anybody I might have missed. I've been reading everyday........I don't consider it lurking anymore, I consider it keeping up :teeth:

Once again nothing going on here. I am trying to clean something extra every day so that one day, I will finally have a house I can call clean.

Today is election day here in Ohio. We will go vote when Jerry gets home.

Hi to all!

Listening to the CD that the Lars Halle Jazz Orch. made...my son is in that one...It is TERRIFIC!!! All the music was written by Lars...he is the drummer. He graduated from U of Arts a couple years prior to my son and put the orchestra together from all the best graduates from the school. I am proud that he thought enough of my son to invite him to join. Now if they could only make some money! LOL!

Lori-So sorry to hear about your grandmother.

Heidi...take the cab and expense it. Do they limit you on meals or any particular amount per day? Some companies do. Lockheed is a big one to limit it...you would think they would be a little more generous! When I traveled I only had to receipt any meal over $25 but I still turned them in. Don't forget to note the tips also...room, taxi driver, porter etc...it all adds up!

Barb-good thing I'm not in the play...I don't tan! They would have to use pretty heavy make-up on me to make me even a shade darker!

OMG!!! Patti alias Patty got her head out of the tax forms and checked in!!! The pigs are flying!!

Hey Julie!!!! Where are you?????

Off to Chicago this weekend so don't look for me until Tues or Wed.

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Had some trouble with the computer and then haven't had the time to get on. Busy doing a lot of nothing (so it seems! I keep cleaning the SAME things over and over!). Kids are doing great! Brooke is growing sooooooooo much! She has been sleeping through the night since she was 3 1/2 weeks old! I can't believe tha she will be 2 months old next week! I will try to get some more pictures added to the web page for you guys to see her. Makenzie is doing super in pre- school. She is subtracting and adding problems like a pro already! She starts swimming lessons again on Sat. It is through the local school system and moms have to go into the pool with the kids. I don't really want to get into a swimsuit yet, but I guess I have too for Makenzie. I do look better in a suit then I did on the cruise, but not where I want to be yet. I have been working really hard on losing the weight! I still do my treadmill EVERYDAY and do the bow flex every other day. The Big Guy is the Big Guy! Full of the P and V!!! He is now counting up to 35 and sings all the words to all of his disney sing along tapes! Garry is working, working, working! He did manage to change the outside light fixture on Sunday. The one that had been here since we moved in died, and he finally had a day off to change it. Starting to plan for Brooke's baptism. It will be either the last sunday in March or after Easter. Still haven't heard from the church on which day is best.

Lori, sorry to hear about your lose. ME LOVE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Krista, THANK YOU THANK YOU for the cute tavel snuggle! Brooke loves the colors! Makenzie likes it too! She keeps taking it away from Brooke crib to play with it with her barbies. I had sent you a thank you note since I was having computer problems, BUT got it back in the mail the other day. I had the wrong zip and state on the envelope. (how I managed that I'll never know. I had a huge brain fart!)

Denine, the bottle warmer sounds neat! I'm sure I could use it if the offer still stands. I use pamper wipes, but if the huggies wipes aren't opened, I know someone who does. I believe that Anna Marie WILL be here on the 27th so she could sit for you. IS that a Friday or Saturday?

Sandy, the pixie dust sounds greats! We don't have that store around here either. I will ahve to remember it if I ever need some! I Think we all could use some of it!

Susan, glad to see you made it safe and sound from your winter storm! Our weather up here changes so fast, that we are use to things like that. As a matter of fact, by Friday it is suppose to be in the upper 60's and thunder storms and by saturday it is suppose to snow! Gotta love Cleveland weather!

Bonnie, have a great trip to Chicago! Give Glenn BIG hugs and kisses from all of us! Is that the orchestra you sent us a email with the band playing on it? IF so, burn me a cd (I'll pay for it) because I thought they sounded awesome!

Jeanne, how's Bob? I'm sure everything is going well. Any change is the "cruise"? If so let me know!

Hi Barb, Laurie, Sally and Patty!

Well gonna go! Time to get some sleep (yeah right, sleep what is that?) Will check back in later!

Yes I have a Per Diem at work. Washington DC and San Francisco is our highest Per Diem rates. We get $150/night for hotel and we get $51/day for food. I thought transportation would be taken out of our per diem so thats why I was planning on using the Metro everywhere so it is cheaper, but thankfully it is not.

So my coworkers suggested to me to pay with my own credit card and not the government issued credit card for food, because if I spend $30/day on food and charge it on the govt. card thats it, but if I use my own card then the govt. will issue me the $51 even if I only spent $30. That is $21/day extra spending money...bad bad bad!!!! My mom and dad will be picking me up from the airport and they have to go through toll booths and they will reimburse them for that and their mileage. If I were to park at the airport then I could just charge the parking on the govt. card, but I dont want to leave my car at the airport!!!

Bonnie - thanks for reminding me to save all receipts and add in the tip. My trip is coming soon. I have today and tomorrow left to work and Friday I have the day off so I can get ready for DC.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Have a great day.

Mom - Beth is okay but they are still not sure what is causing it. They ruled out spinal cord and now thinking it is nuero, I am tired from being at the hospital. I will call you when you wake up.

Julie: You may have the bottle warmer. I have had it since Kaleigh was born and never used it. I'll give you the wipes too. They are not opened. I had a coupon and tried them. I like the Pampers wipes much better. The 27th is a Saturday. We really want to go out to dinner by ourselves. We'd like to go to the Bomber Group. We haven't been there since they moved. Not even sure where the new location is. Glad to hear everything is fine with you. I was getting worried and was going to call you if I hadn't heard from you. I'll give you a time for Anna Marie when it gets a little closer to the 27th.

Ollie goes to the vet this afternoon for a check-up.

Bonnie: Enjoy Chicago! ;)

I weighed in today and finally lost 1 pound! :Pinkbounc I am headed back in the right direction. I am doing the treadmill and am back on my diet. Now I have 20 pounds to go to get to my final goal.

Nothing else goin on.

Just got home from Virginia but I did peek at the boards while I was there. His computer will not let me post!

Had a great time at "The Party" but had way too many cosmos.
BONNIE: I now love them!:p They used this special "Tito's" vodka & they went down real easy. Saturday we went to the Classic Car Show in A.C. & then headed for Midlothian, Virginia. Bob has to go back when his son gets his orders (very soon) but I think this is it for me. I love Bobby dearly but five hours in the car each way can get to you & it is I95 you have to take which is ALWAYS crowded.

Sounds like everyone is hanging in there. Can't wait for the cruise:boat:. It looks like Bob is a NO GO. Off to work for Thursday, Friday & Saturday. My roomate is off to Texas for a week to visit her daughter. Have a great day! Toodles :wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Jeanne, Bob, a no go? That's not fair. I so wanted to meet him! Missed you while you were gone! I haven't heard from Faith in a very long time. I am worried about Kristy. Cosmo? Never had one but everyone talks about them. Guess that will be my new drink to experience on the cruise. :teeth:

Julie, sounds like you are staying busy. Not surprised with a house full!! Isn't it great when the babies sleep through the night early on. I was so lucky with twins to sleep through at 1 month.

Denine, wish you lived by me. I would love to have your enthusiasm over losing weight rub off on me. I gotta, gotta, gotta! Not only for the cruise but for my health down the road. Especially with diabetes so strong in my family.

Heidi, found your brown sock. ::yes::

Bonnie, I think it is so cool about Ryan being invited to join in the group. What a musician he must be!!!!!!

As far as the pixie dust, I will be more than happy to buy it for anyone that needs it whenever. It only cost .60 to mail. Not bad at all! I thought that Yankee Candle was a large company but guess I was wrong.

We need another wine chat. Anyone interested? I am truly missing all of you.

Yeah my sock is found. Now it's time to find the other missing black ones. Who knows what I do with all these missing socks!!! Maybe I am getting dressed in my sleep more than that one time and I wear mismatched socks and throw them out the window!!!!

Just at work, working hard (ya right) I am listening to the Disney Shareholder meeting. Some very interesting and funny stuff. One lady told Eisner not to turn his head because she is speaking to him and not the back of his head and another lady called him a pig!! It seems pretty split down the middle of people in support and against Eisner!!! They are releasing Bambi next March and Aladdin this October and they are on the way to making Toy Story 3!!! So much is going on. My mom said I have to be taking notes to inform all of you, I will try my best!!!

Jeanne - If Bob can't go on the cruise, that means I am back to staying in the Walt Disney Suite, right?

Quick note to say that about 43% of the votes were withheld for Michael Eisner. 1.007 billion voted for him and 771,691,297 voted against him.

Very interesting Heidi! Thanks for the updates! Glad I don't buy your socks! And no, you don't get the Walt Disney Suite. If I told you once, I told you a million times. I met Faith first. The suite is MINE!

Heidi-don't you know there are ghostly sock stealers in every house?

Off to Chicago this evening. Rain here and rain there...hopefully no delays

Have a good weekend all...see you on Tuesday!

Have a great trip to Chicago, Bonnie.

Time to make everyone a little jealous:
Our high today is supposed to be 78!!! One week after the record snow storm!

I'm taking Turner to the doctor today. He has a horrible cough that gets croupy sounding overnight and he has a sore throat. He is just miserable. He's had this cold for over a week but he has gotten worse as this week has progressed. Hopefully, they'll be able to give him something to make him feel better before Saturday's hockey games. I hope it's not strep again! Even if he isn't well enough to play, we'll still go to Charleston for the tournament.

Have a great day everyone!! Survivor tonight!! The previews show Sue in a tizzy!!

Later!

 Bye Bonnie, have a WONDERFUL trip. Give Glenn a big hug from us!

Susan, sorry to hear about poor Turner. Let us know what the Dr. says. :genie: I'll send a little magic his way for the tournament. Wow, 78. Only in our dreams. We are to hit the 50's by the weekend and are looking forward to THAT! The preview for Sue going off on Jeff is unbelievable. I can't wait for this episode! :crazy2: Once again, crazy Sue is at it again.

I think on our next trip that we are staying at the new Ron Jon Resort. It is walkable to the ships channel, on a beach, has a heated pool, water slide, and a heated lazy river. It sounds sooooooo wonderful that we are flying in on Thurs so we can enjoy it on Friday and then board the ship on Saturday. I am getting waaaaay too excited now. :boat: Wish me luck! I am going to call them now. I should get it for 75.00. It is a studio villa with microwave, refrig, hot tub etc.

Sandy: I really don't have enthusiasm to lose weight, I just want it gone! I hate the treadmill, but at least it gives me 1/2 hour to read.

Sue: Hope Turner feels better soon.

Ollie needs to go next week to have his teeth cleaned. Otherwise, he is fine. He is even getting down to a normal weight.

If you guys haven't tried those Magic Erasers to clean difficult things, you have to try them. Jerry got my toaster oven and vent over the stove clean of grease spots. I have tried everything to remove this stuff and scrubbed and scrubbed with no luck. It didn't even take any effort. My stove just sparkles now.

I don't believe it, but the paper says it is supposed to be 70 tomorrow, but back into the upper 30's low 40's on Sunday. I believe Sunday's temps.

Well, we got a partial win with Disney. Eisner is now just CEO, not Chairman of the Board. But, his replacement is one of his yesmen and he received a 24% no confidence vote.

I go in the morning for another B12 shot and then I work this weekend.

Jeanne: Sounds like you had fun!

Hi Denine, I am so glad that you tried the Magic Eraser. I have been wanting to try it but the skeptical side of me kept me from buying it. Can't wait to try it. The oven hood is always yucky! Glad the B12 shots are working. How many do you have to get? I heard about the Disney vote. Not sure if it really accomplished anything. Guess we will have to wait and see. Enjoy your 70's. Sounds heavenly. It is a beautiful sunny morning. Might snow this afternoon but nothing to get worked up over.

Well, I did it. I was able to book the Ron Jon Resort for 75.00 per night. We will be shuttled by Travel Lynx to the Port at anytime we want. The cost is 10.00. I chose 9:30. If I remember right the doors to the terminal open at 10:00, right? I believe Travel Lynx is contracted by Ron Jon. They can shuttle us from the airport also. Not sure of that price tho and if we can get a grocery store stop with them.

Better run. Graci needs attention.

Jeanne, I just got an email from Faith. Kristy is doing better. I was really concerned! She might need a hysterectomy but as of now they put her on the pill.
