Just a quick post to say hi to all! Been fighting the city on our health benefits since yesterday. (I'll explain more about it tomorrow when I have more time to post, basically the city told us one thing about our health plan and paid for another without letting us know. Long story like I said, but will tell you all about it tomorrow.)

Weather is suppose to get into the 70's tomorrow but with showers and thunder storms. We shall see. They might actually be right on this one (the storms that is) because I got a call from Bonnie around 6:00pm from the airport that said her flight got delay due to weather until 8:30pm! I hope they got out before then! I'm sure seeing Glenn will make up for the 2 and a half hour delay!

Well gotta go, time for my treadmill! Chat with you all soon!

Just a quick post. We hit 80 yesterday and it was gorgeous!! Today in the upper 70s and the declien begins with rain expected over the weekend. I hope we have good weather in Charleston. We leave late this afternoon so I won't be back on until late Sunday.

Guess I'll have to buy a magic eraser now. Glad to hear it is a good product. I was skeptical so I hadn't bought it.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend!
Later!

I have used the magic easer ever since it came out. It works wonders on EVERYTHING! There was a mark on the car from someone opening their door and hitting ours, and the easer took the mark off the car easily! Since the Big Guy thinks he is Michaelangelo and thinks he can draw anywhere, I should buy them in bulk! It is nice because you get 4 in every package.

Ok, will be back later! Just had to add my two cents in!

It is 64 right now but very windy. We are supposed to get gusts up to 50 mph. I am hoping to get out for a walk in between the rain drops. Jerry is working from home today since I had my appointment this morning. I am now down from weekly B12 shots to every 2 weeks, then I think it is once a month. I forget.
Jerry is out getting his hair cut.

Julie: Hope everything works out with the insurance.

Sandy: Sounds like you are getting things ready for the cruise. We still have to book our dates at OKW for after the cruise. Would love to do back to backs again, but it is not in the cards, especially if we want to do the 10 day cruise next spring.

Sue: Enjoy you hockey weekend.

Sandy: What is wrong with this Kristy?

Hi guys, just back from shopping with Heidi. She is getting ready for her trip on Sunday. She got a surprise for me in the mail today. Actually, she got one for Stacey, me and herself. It is a DisneyCruise Mickey Christmas ornament. How fun!!

Stacey has had a very bad week. First of all her favorite fish, George, died after the move. He was a very personal fish. He absolutely loved people. Would take treats from your fingers. Rush to the front of the aquarium when you walked into the room. He would swim the direction of your walk. He was a cow fish. Then, their two cats wouldn't eat or drink since the move so they took them to the vet. They both were dehydrated but after a test they found out that one of them was in sever kidney failure so they had to put him to sleep today. The other one is still not up to par either. The rabbit seems fine.

Thanks Denine. I had to run out and buy one of those erasers. We had snow last night. A very wet storm. Tonight and tomorrow we are to have high winds. YUCK! The drs are not sure what is wrong with Kristy. Faith and Kristy have begged the drs for a hysterectomy but they won't do it. She is in SEVERE pain and is in the hospital a lot with it. I think that it messes up her diabetes. Her diabetes is very hard to control. Poor thing. She is soooooo sickly! She is the tiniest girl of 23.

Julie, good luck on the insurance fight! That is never fun.

Susan, nice weather! Can't feel too sorry for you! How is Turner doing. Is he going to be able to play this weekend?

Denine, you are my favorite person right now! I love my magic eraser! Thanks a whole bunch for recommending them! :love2:

Aw, gee, Sandy:blush:

We had absolutely wonderful weather yesterday. It was supposed to rain on and off all day, but the sun came out mid-morning and shined the rest of the day. It was extremely windy, but we did get out for our 3 mile walk. I had a couiple of windows open and I let Kaleigh walk around on the deck. Kaleigh loves the wind in her face. She squealed a lot on the walk. When she was a tiny baby, I would often calm her down by blowing in her face. We did have some shingles that were stanging upright, along with a lot of our neighbors. So, Jerry had to crawl up on the roof and cement them back down. Today it is back to the cold and it is supposed to snow.

Jerry made me Puffy French toast for when I got home from work this morning. :love2: It was really yummy!

We went yesterday and ordered the last bookshelf that I need to organize my house. This one is going in our bedroom. Hopefully it will arrive before we leave for vacation.

Sandy: Poor Kristy! Have they found any endometriosis? That can cause incredible pain. I have it, but it only causes me pain every few months since I take the pill for 12 weeks straight.

I think I will take a nap today, because I want to, not because I need to!

Hello,
We have been busy today helping our elderly friend. I really wanted to be home with Heidi today because it is her last day but it just didn't work out. Tomorrow we are going to help Stacey paint her bedroom. Yucky dirty work. Oh well, Richard always helps us when we need it.

Denine, we had the wind today. It was blowing our friend around. She only weighs 107 lbs. Puffy french toast sounds so yummy. I have been hungry for just plain old french toast. Maybe while Heidi is gone! I am not sure if they found endometriosis with Kristy. Just got her thank you card. She loved the pixie dust.

Gotta run, we are having friends over for dinner. See ya.

Well Hello Sandy and how are you today? Might fine if I might say so myself. So how are things going for you Sandy? Just fine. Ho, hum, I am bored. It is pretty bad when I am bored here and would rather get off th computer and go paint Stacey's house. See ya!

Sandy: I forgot to metnion yesterday that I was sorry to hear about Stacey's animals. It is still fresh losing Shannon to kidney failure in November. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

It looks like it is just the 2 of us this weekend. Everyone else, except those that are out of town, are slackers! ;)

We have been needing to paint since the fall. It still hasn't gotten done.

Had a good day at work and now I am off for 2 weeks. It is nice to be able to wrok the schedule I do.

We rented some movies last night. I wanted to rent "Under the Tuscan Sun", but they were all out of videos, they only had DVD's. We watched "Runaway Jury" last night. It was pretty good. We also rented "Chicago" and something else.

I hope Heidi had a good time in DC.

Hi Denine, gosh, a real person to talk to. Sounds like you had a good movie night. When things slow down I would love to rent some of those movies. Yes, it was very painful losing the animals. The pain never really goes away. I know that I still hurt over my dog. He has been gone about 18 years.... but I loved him so.

Yes, we do have some slackers. Come out come out where ever you are!

Heidi actually left today. I did good. I didn't CRY!

Okay, okay, you guilted me into posting vs. lurking.

I really don't have much to say. Cooking again... Tonight is Snapper with some sort of gremolata sauce and pasta with garlicky broccoli and breadcrumbs.

David has auditors in for the first time this week. They always come in to do the books, but the IT department has never been audited. They are from K2 corporate, but that still doesn't make it any easier. He keeps getting up around 5:00, thus I am awake as well.

Do any of you take Imitrex for migraines. Mine have flared lately, and the Imitrex either is not working or makes me feel really weird. An acquaintance of mine swears she had her heart attack because of Imitrex.

Toodle Loo,
Krista

Hello guys!!!! I made it to Washington DC without a problem. Didn't have to go very far in the Chicago airport so I was relieved about that, plus by the time we were supose to be boarding the plane, the plane was still not there. Having a good time.

Hotel is okay...big rooms, not very friendly though. A lot of sirens that I am not use to....can't wait to see sites, hopefully I get a chance this week!!! I loved flying into Chicago, it was just beautiful seeing the water and then seeing the buildings. At the Denver airport I kept telling my DBF that I wanted to go to Orlando, not DC because we were sitting next to a gate that said Orlando!!!! He made me get on my plane, in tears at that!!!!

Hope you all have a great week. I am sure I will check in more this week.

Heidi: Glad to hear you made it to DC without difficulty. I am sure your mom is to!

Krista: Jerry takes Imitrex for his migraines. It usually works, but it does make him feel weird for a while after.

It snowed last night. Yuck! It was 73 on Friday and snow today.

Nothing really going on here.

Hi guys, it is me. Heidi takes something for her migraines but not sure what it is. She didn't respond so it must not be imitrex.

It is going to be a marvelous week. High on Wed should be 70. Sorry Heidi. Not as good as Susan's but not bad. Denine, you aren't doing all that bad with the temps either. A snowy day here and there can't be all that bad.

I am so psyched for the trip. We have made ressies for the plane, hotel and car rental. It is farther out than normal so it will seem like an eternity waiting for the time to come.

Krista, what is a gremolata sauce? Your pasta sounds heavenly!

Gotta run. I have so many returns today.

Good Morning Everyone!!

I have been kind of distracted lately with my new found stardom :teeth: (Just kidding)

Last week was a very busy week for me. Glad you guys kept up the board!!

Denine-Please tell me what is a Erase stick?? I must have missed that. What 10 day cruise??? I know there is one in December but I have not heard of one next year hummmmmmm

Sandy I am so sorry about Stacey's pets. I was so sad when I read your post. I am sosososo attached to my pets. I feel really sad for her.

Barb:smooth:

I hope I have this right:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TED AND SANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF I have it wrong, sorry! Well, Miss Brooke is 2 months old today! Boy does the time fly by!

Nothing else going on here. Will check back in later!

Yep, you have it right, Julie. It is Ted's and my 29th anniversary. Can you imagine 29 years?? It honestly has been wonderful and flew by too fast.

Thanks Barb about Stacey's pets. Our family is in grieving also. It is amazing how animals tug at a person's heart! How is stardom going?

Hi Sandy!!

Happy Anniversary to youuuuuuuu...(insert singing here)

Well my new found fame is going great.
AHEMMMM.....I would like to thank the little people.......

So what is the erase thingy??

Barb:smooth:

VAN HORNS: Happy Anniversary to two of my favorite people:bride: :groom:. Sandy you are way too organized! I saw pictures of the Ron Jon Resort in the RCI magazine & it looks beautiful. Can we follow you AGAIN? I have to talk to my better half (Joyce) about it but I actually thought about flying down on Thursday so we won't be too rushed.

Did you ever hear the saying "no good deed goes unpunished"? Well while cat sitting the cat pushed the screen out the second floor window, fell & fractured her back leg. My roomate still doesn't know since I didn't want to ruin her vacation. So far it has cost me $190.00 & if she needs surgery it would be $1000.00!!!!!!   It is ALWAYS something.

Even Bobby has been acting really weird. I know he is upset over his son but he tends not to talk:chat: about it. Do opposites really attract?:love2:

Hope you all have a great week. The weather is really miserable here:umbrella:. Miss you all. Toodles :wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE
