Let me see, Garry is upstairs on the computer and Julie is in the living room on the computer.

It is sooooo gorgeous outside. I have all my windows open.

The cleaning is almost done, just have to put stuff in suitcases.

Julie: Jerry is working in the office in the morning. Jerry can pick it up too. Or it can wait until we get back from WDW.

Garry: I hope the new restaurant will be decent. I just hate to see Alfredo's go.

Denine -HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!! Enjoy it at WDW!!!

I had a fun weekend. Saturday we went to the girls soccer game and then brought them home. We watched Charlottes Web and Pursuit of Happiness (loved this movie!!!). Today we went to IHOP (their favorite place) and then played at the park and took a walk around the lake. We planted flowers and plants for Earth Day. Chris is driving them home now, so I am quickly trying to unpack the things they thought I needed to bring with me and re-pack!!! They didn't want me to go because they thought I was going where the Virginia Tech shooting was.

Well I probably won't be back on until next weekend when I get back. My plane takes off at 6:00am tomorrow morning.

Denine, I want to GO!!! Why do you get to go all the time and I don't??? Just isn't fair. Our weather has been pretty good. Looks like Stacey will get some snow on Tuesday. I haven't had the nerve to tell her yet.

Is is a little cooler today and cloudier. We are supposed to get storms later. Should be good tomorrow morning for our flight.

Everything is packed except for last minute stuff.

Julie: We will pick up Kaleigh's sweater at Makenzie's birthday party.

Barb is already enjoying her first full day at WDW.

Our plans are to get off the plane and go to our resort. If there is a room, we will get settled and then go to Epcot. If it isn't ready, we will just go to Epcot. I am spending my birthday at the Magic Kingdom and I am going to get one of those birthday buttons. THen we are having dinner at Chef Mickey's at 6:10 PM. Except for dinner with Barb on Saturday, those are my only plans.

Now, all of you unfortunates left behind will have to post a lot because 3 of us will be gone since Heidi will be in VA. THis means Jeanne has to come out and play!

Heidi: Kaleigh watched Charlotte's Web last night while we were packing. Sounds like you had a nice weekend.

I may try to get on once more tonight. We will see.

I am soooo afraid that I will be talking to myself this week. Jeanne doesn't post, Julie, well, ummmm, sometimes post and Stacey is too busy. Sally can't get on. All the regulars are partying. Garry and Julie, you better help me out here!

See, it looks like I am already having to talk to myself. Heidi is in VA now. Had a good flight. Nice hotel. So far, no bedbugs like in Houston. LOL

I am back for one last post Sandy.

I hear you about the airfare. We were ready to drive this trip. We are driving in October though.

Anyone want a 4 year old? She was soooooo bad today. She pulled the curtain rod off the wall, marked up her walls with a pencil she got from the class room, marked up an "armoir" I made her from a box, dowel rod and contact paper. Plus she hid the screws from the curtain rod. And she lied about it all. And this was all while she was supposed to be napping. She had already gotten in trouble earlier today a couple of times. Oh yeah, she also found scissors and cut some of her dolls hair. I took away her Pooh blanket, TV priveledges and computer games. Jerry and I have never been so angry with her before. It really takes the wind out of the sails for leaving tomorrow.

I wanted to take her mini golfing at WDW, now I don't know. We need to cool off. I also have no desire to buy her anything special.

Kaleigh is going to bed at 7 PM and we are going to sit down with some wine.

Glad Heidi made it to VA.

Hang in there Denine. Kaleigh is just excited to go on the trip. I know it was a lot of destruction with the pencil and scissors but we all have been through it......just not all in one day! Our neighbor girl cut Stacey's hair about that age. Drink a BIG glass of wine and everything will be better.

Don't worry Sandy, I won't let you down and have you talk to yourself. I have the worst WORST sinus infection. I thought that I could let it go and it would clear up by itself, BUT this one is a do-sie! I will have to go get some anti's to help clear it up.

Denine, look at it this way, she didn't cut her own hair! Pencil comes off with the magic eraser and the "armoir" at least wasn't an expensive piece of furniture that she marked up with marker and the such. I know when these things happen, it takes A lot out of you (and anyone in that situation), but WE ALL HAVE been there before (like 4 times for me! and double the trouble for Sandy and Stacey, and Heidi and her couch and carpet(remember) and for Sally and Barb..... I don't know if I can count that much! LOL!) and to be honest, kids usually act up when something "MAJOR" has been planned or is expected. (remember Brooke cutting her bangs before Garry's dad passed away?) That being said, I know how a child's action can get you to a boiling point!!! Just think, THIS IS JUST the BEGINNNING OF MANYMANY "JOYS" of parenting!

I hope that the wine has calmed you down and you have a nice trip. Remember, to kids, what happened 5 mins ago seems like years! Don't hold a grudge and do the things you had planned. Go mini-golfing and have a great time. Drinks LOTS and LOTS! Have some for me too! Keep us updated while you are down there!

Well, gonna go and see if I can un-block my nose so I can breathe so I can go to bed.

Regarding Kaleigh: If it had been any one of those things, we would have been OK, but doing it all at once! Jerry and I are much better than last night. I still need to wake Kaleigh up, but she passed out early.

I made the "armoir" for her doll clothes that had hangers.
Luckily, everything was in pencil and it came off with the magic eraser.

Kaleigh had been acting up all week and we knew it was because she was excited. We did our bst to find outlets for her, but yesterday, I never expected. Yikes!

All of that being said, I will give Julie a call sometime after we get there and get settled. We will have a wonderful time!

I'm here, I'm here. Just trying to wake up. I took something last night to help me sleep and I swear it was awful. First of all, I woke up maybe ten times during the night and then now I am in la-la land.

Sorry you aren't up to par Julie. A few weeks ago I had a terrible I guess you would say head cold with a headache and I tried sudafed PE sinus headache. Man, that worked wonders. Maybe you should try it. Heidi tried it last week and she was happy that it didn't make her drowsy.

Just talked to Stacey. She already has 3-4" of snow. It has just turned over to BIG heavy snow for us. It isn't suppose to "snow" here so we will see. Stacey is suppose to get 4-8".

I forgot to add about Heidi. You asked about her "class". Well, she was at the beach yesterday and has plans to go back there today. Poor thing!

With disney coming, we can buy goodies with our up coming trips. We will have to pick names when the "WDW trippers" come back. Sounds good?

Yes, the beach is wonderful!!! We are at lunch and went back to our hotel. I thought I would check in here!! The weather is great...82 today and we will be heading to the beach after our class!!!! We talked our instructor and class into starting 30 minutes earlier and getting out 30 minutes earlier so we can head to the beach!!! I love it. My coworker's goal is to get sunburned and my goal is to eat so much seafood that I get sick of it.

I will not be good in Monument I have decided. I feel like I am trapped with all the snow!!! There are drifts everywhere!!! Highway is at a standstill, their is a firetruck stuck on Monument Hill Road and we can't plow the campground because the snow thingy is empty!!! AGGGHHHH!!!
Some stupid guy that has been leaving here all winter put out his awning and it has now officially collapsed with all the snow....he is even home Richard thinks.
So much for going home tomorrow....if we can even get out. I still need to go but guess we will see.
Someone put an offer in on the house. They are giving us a good price but they won't be able to move into it until the end of June....I think we are going to up the deposit on it and put a clause in it that we still can show it and if we get another bid,they have 72 hours to move their closing date. I am having a really hard time. I know, surprise, surprise.
Denine was so right about how tough it is to sell a home when you want to, it is extremely tough when you really don't want to.

I AM IN FOR THE CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE. It went so smooth last year! Just called Stacey and she said no thank you. So that leaves Denine, Julie, Heidi, Sandy, and Barb. I don't think that Sally did it last year. I am excited. It is always so much fun.

I see that Stacey posted right before I called her. WOW, the weather must be horrible down there! Stacey is talking snow and Heidi is talking beach. Two different extremes. Then we have Barb and Denine hot in WDW. Gee Julie, we should go on strike!
