What a disaster Denver is!! Heidi and I were going to run to Walmart Supercenter but the traffic lights are messed up around me so we headed to Super Target where the parking lot is a total mess and wasn't plowed until now. It adjoins a mall parking lot so we parked there and walked across. Easy! After about an hour of shopping we walked back to her Pathfinder and all the mall exits were backed up forever. Heidi made some perfect turns and we were able to avoid the long lines. Got out onto the street to find that my traffic light was backed up. We had to pray that two lanes would allow us to turn. We were soooooo fortunate that two drivers did it right away for us. I am now home and Heidi soon will be. NO MORE SHOPPING FOR ME!!!! The roads are rutty, snowpacked and traffic packed. Hate to be the person that still needs to Christmas shop that is for sure!

Mom- the reason why you got your truck out just fine is because it is heavier than mine. I'm sure Heidi probably would have gotten stuck in the snow too since she is about my weight.

I did video tape and take pictures of Joey and Tyler in the snow.

Today is a HORRIBLE day for me. I need out bad. I am so tired of being at home I could scream. On top of all that, Joey and Tyler aren't napping either. Joey feel asleep 45 minutes ago and she is already awake. I'm letting her scream it out but I dont' know how much longer I can take it.

Anyway, I won't be on probably anymore until after Christmas. Hope everyone has a great holiday!!

Stacey, I am so sorry about your day. I can surely sympathize for you regarding naptime. And on top of that, being snowed in for 3 days sucks! As bad as the traffic was Heidi was close to just turning around and taking me home. I was sure holding my breath on that one. I wanted OUT! (and a diet coke, too! )

Just got back from Stacey's. Had a very nice day.

Came home to find out that our neighbor had a heart attack and died at his step sons in Aspen. His mom is still alive and is 101. Bless her heart. It will be so hard on her out living 2 sons. He was the ONLY one she had. His wife will not take care of her. She caused strained relationships between his kid, his mom and us. Sad, sad situation.

Anyway, just wanted everyone to know that I am thinking of all of you. Merry Christmas.

Had a great time at Stacey's. It is so much fun to watch Joey and Tyler open and play with all their gifts!!!

Just wanted to let you all know I opened my secret santa gift and it was from Julie. She got me these awesome Pooh Bear ornaments that I never have seen before, Red fluffy pooh bear slipper socks that I haven't taken off yet, and a beautiful tinkerbell candle holder. Very nice gifts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I absolutely LOVE my Ornament and Jiminy Crickett figurine. I can't believe that you even found one. He is so hard to find. I will always think of you guys when I see it in my curio cabinet! I will also think of you guys next year when decorating my tree.

I am going to Archivers today and finish Julie's album. Criss loved her dog calendar....said it was the best gift she has gotten. She loves handmade gifts and her dog so it was the perfect gift to give her.

We had a very nice Christmas with Barb and family and then went to a movie late in the afternoon.

It is 7:30 so I better get busy......

I have a suggestion for next years gift exchange. Can we open our gifts on Thanksgiving? That way we can display any Christmas decorations we get. Plus December is SOOOOO hectic it would be a nice kick off for the Christmas season.

Sandy: You are very welcome. I got JC on E-bay. They had the display of him in WDW, but no boxes. I was glad I already had it!

Heidi: CONGRATS! When is the big day going to be?

I talked to Julie for about 2 minutes on Friday, but that was it.

Julie: Yes, we are still wanting to go to Princesses on ice. Don't have the tickets yet.

Have Not opened our Secret Santa yet. I wanted to yesterday, but Jerry wanted to wait to see what everyone was doing. He can get us a conference call for next month if we want a wine chat. Let me know.

We had a nice Christmas, all 3 days of it. We sat around and ate! Never again! Went shopping today. I love the day after Christmas for shopping!

We have had a lot of rain yesterday and today. It is supposed to change to snow, but if it does, it won't be much.

Just wanted to get on and say a quick hi to everyone. I wil be back on tomorrow.

Can you guys believe it????? I can keep a secret! Chris asked Ted and I a couple of weeks ago for our blessing. It was sooooo hard not to blow it. It was in my mind a 100% of the time. I even had to LIE to Stacey about it. Bless her heart, she forgave me and understood.

The news is saying that another big snowstorm could hit us Thursday afternoon. I am so sick of driving in these ruts and then put more snow on top of it???? Ok, so the smilies don't work for me either Barb.

Sandy-Good job keeping a secret that must have been hard! What have you heard about the storm? If you look on the weather channel it looks like now big deal but everyone is talking about it around here saying they have heard it is suppose to be bad.
