d'Isigny - The funny thing is i didn't get a chance to finish my first and we'll have a few more in Oct. Then I'll let out the secret of how to win this most important contest. I just might have to try and win it again.

Apooh - We have 2 kids ds-6 and dd-4 they'll be 7 & 5 by the cruise and they can stay in the clubs while you dine. The Cast members in the clubs take them to dinner.

A 12 year old daughter, well, my daughter Megan is anxious to meet a friend too! She will be turning 13 the day we leave the cruise!

I was thinking we should call it the October 2007 Celebration Cruise since we seem to have lots of birthdays and many wedding anniversaries.

The "goofy" side of "homew3" here...Just wanted to jump in and say HI. I also wanted to suggest Cruisealation or Cruisealation fest for all the birthdays etc. You know, Cruise and Celebration=Cruisealation... and "fest"(for Octoberfest) Hey I'm excited too! Sorry........I'll go do the dishes now.

The lady who created it for me does Disney graphics for a hobby. She said if anyone wants to PM her she would make them one too! She made my girls "Disney" themed names in graphics that I am going to print for cruise door magnets.
Her e-mail address is at the off site membership listing for our cruise group website that Kevin (d'Isigny) has set up.
Anyone who wants to get into the site needs to PM him and he can send you an invitation to get in. I have some graphics saved up and am willing to share with those who are interested. The website has interesting links and cruise information plus information about a game Kevin has suggested that sounds like lots of fun.(The game is played during the cruise) The website is a place where we hope everyone will feel comfortable if they need to share more personal information with each other in a protected environment. You have to have an invitation to enter and be a member.

Well, the move to NC is finally complete! Whew... who knew moving was so much work, lol

I'm happy to see more cruisers - and celebrations cruisers at that!! I'm bad at nicknames, so I won't even try, lol.

Thanks for the thoughts on leaving the kids at home. I know once we say "good bye" it'll be easier, but my DS4 is SUCH a momma's boy... Those good byes can get pretty tough!

I'm going to try and be around more often now - so WELCOME again!

Since we have some new friends and it's been a while since this subject has been brought up...here is some information on our 'off Dis web site'...if you've not joined...please look for the link at the end of this post.

On our past cruise, we grew to ~30 families participating on a DIS cruise thread. I’ve got some great memories as we had a blast!!! This group really needed a place to share data that The-DIS does not offer. We used Yahoo Groups and it worked wonderfully.
For our 07 cruise, I set one up through Yahoo Groups as a ‘closed site’ – i.e., a Moderator needs to ‘invite’ someone to participate. It would be my personal preference in keeping this a ‘closed site’. However, if ‘our group’ prefers, I can change this to an ‘open site’ allowing any/all with an internet connection to view the information we have added. I don’t want to dwell on the ‘horrors in the world’...just want to keep ‘our information’ as secure as we can – rant off.

This is an ‘off-DIS’ web site for us to share information (files – photos – polls – database – links...etc). It’s an amazing organizing tool that offers us free data storage (can’t get much better than that). Of course...they will offer links and banners (I call them Internet commercials) to ‘suggest’ you purchase goods/services from one of their vendors. However, you are under no obligation to review or purchase ANYTHING.
