Awesome chain Bev and soccorfreak_08!! Holy smokes that must have taken you a while to make, lol. Then again... I make my chains with my 4yo and 6yo... so it takes quite a while

It is ressie time for this October's cruise. We have not even discussed if we are doing any excurisions. I will be up at 3am though for PALO dinner and brunch ressie.

Bev, I love your chain! I was thinking to do it all in white paper...but the colored is so much more fun...... I'll have to hang mine up high otherwise I can see my baby walking off with the entire chain- or my cats playing with it. Out of curiousity (and by the way, I apologize now, I'm a horrible speller!) how long did it take you to make that chain?

Hey Dave...thx for the kind words on our group site. I - also need to thank Bev, Jenny and those who posted for all the great help. We've got a great start on some information that will help us all plan our cruise/WDW vacation.

How was the internet process in getting your Palo brunch/dinner ressies? Did ya get everything you wanted - hope so.

Hope all will 'forgive me' for being a 'lurker' for a little bit. The office I work at has won a 3-day Canidian cruise out of Seattle for this September. Nan and I will be leaving the girls with grandparents - can i get a YEE HAW - on that. Well...I've not spent much time researching the options for our extra day in Seattle or what we want to do at port. Sooooo - I need to get busy. Anybody have any suggestions for; downtown Seattle, Vancouver BC or Nanaimo? I sure could use some tips.

YEE HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kevin, I can relate after last weekend with no kids. I know that we do not do it enough. We are pretty sure though that we are booking a 4 day cruise for our 20th next year. We have already "reserved" a grandmother to come here and stay with the kids.

We got up a 3am to make our ressies and it went very smooth. We got what we wanted. I was surprised to read on our thread though that some got up at 6 this morning and were able to still get what they wanted. The only excursion we booked was the Golden Eagle Catamaran in St Maartin. I think in St Thomas we are just going to the Tramway to get some bushwackers at the top

OMG How funny is that! Yes...we did meet at Beano's party. I apologize, but I can't quite put the faces with the names, but the names are definitely familiar. I'm going to have to look back at those pictures and see if I can find you guys.

YEEHAWWWWW!! Whew, that's great Kevin! I hear ya on having time away from the kids. This cruise is our time away from the kids - already have both sets of grandparents lined up, lol. Both said "just give me a schedule of where I have to be when and what days I have the kids"

Hope I didn't get that song stuck in anyone's head.... I did a Disney Medley in a community choir I sing with a couple seasons ago...we ended rehearsals with that song each week and it got to the point where everyone was so sick of having it stuck in our heads all week long, we started ending the rehearsal with a different song every night. Although...chim chiminey wasn't much better.

We just got in off the lake, took the kids tubing today for the last time (they don't care for the skis) we are putting up the boat for the winter and leaving for vacation in a few days. Also have some school shopping left to do, the kids keep out growing their clothes so fast!

Bev, you guys live on a lake? Your kids must love that! My folks own a cabin up in northern Wisconsin on a lake & it's my oldest dd's favorite place in the world. She loves jumping off the dock, swimming on the beach, fishing with Grandpa & going on the boats! We are heading up there for the last time this summer tomorrow.

Dana, Have a blast at the Jimmy Buffet concert! Sounds fun.....

Hope everyone else has a great weekend. Seems like summer is coming to a close so quickly with all the back to school stuff going on! I don't know if I'm ready for fall yet!

TGIF to everyone

Both kids and DW started back to school this week.

DS started high school so I am taking him on a boys only fishing trip this weekend while he still has time for his dad. I am sure as the year progresses there will be less and less time to spend with the parents.

Kinda sad to hear everyones summer is coming to a close.....we usually are able to get out on the water until the 1st or 2nd week of October, after that the air temp is still beach weather but the water temp gets a little cold.

Checking in also. We are taking a long weekend camping before school starts in two weeks. All this talk about summer's end is making me feel a little blue.
