October 13, 2013 4 Night Cruise!!!!

My sister and I were so excited last night to be completing our online check in. Got the papers all signed and safely in the official cruise binder!! Now just waiting on the passports to arrive and that pesky GTY status to magically turn into an actual cabin number!!

Congrats on your check in, I went over to my Moms to check them in. I was very happy that we were able to get the same excursions. Good luck on your GTY status, I have a GTY on my cruise in May.. and I at least know I will be on the boat. Passports usually take about 4 weeks or so - from the day sent off.. GOOD LUCK... Julie

Since we have a Palo reservation on Monday and Remy on Tuesday, I think we will miss the fun. I so LOVE watching the little ones though, hopefully they have some activities in the afternoon. We sailed on the Magic over Halloween several years ago but they have added more activities to the list.

I know I need to start thinking about our costumes, I have three children and then my husband and myself! I don't know where to begin! Lol

I am excited they are doing the Halloween party though, something else to look forward to

So so excited for this cruise! It will be a first for me, my DH & DS (9). Can't wait to get on board for some fun in the sun! And with the addition to Halloween on the high seas we are all super excited! We also planned on going to the MNSSHP on the 17th...you can never have too much Disney fun, right?!?

We are doing Ron Jon instead this time. We were on a cruise in May and did Disney before. We were at Pop though. Have a great time. The Poly is gorgeous!!!!

Any tips for to/from MCO to PC area? There are only 4 of us so maybe car rental is the way to go??? We did shuttle last time but there was 7 of us so we wouldn't fit in a rental. And do you park there or drop off the rental?

We are staying 2 nights at the Art of Animation Resort before the cruise. We just can't go to MCO and not spend at least 1 day at Magic Kingdom!

We are going to WDW before 9-13.. this trip ( 3rd this year) we decided to stay off property this time. We are staying at a Homewood suites - they serve dinner and breakfast for 94 a night... Never stayed at Poly, but would love to. We are going to the MNSSHP- Oct 10 and Cindys castle Oct 12. Other than that we will be in Epcot most of the time.

We fly 9 weeks from today - staying at SSR for the week. There will be no MNNSHP for us although I will say, that is my favorite party. I am hoping that they open reservations for the California Grill soon and maybe we can watch the fireworks from up there.

Any tips for to/from MCO to PC area? There are only 4 of us so maybe car rental is the way to go??? We did shuttle last time but there was 7 of us so we wouldn't fit in a rental. And do you park there or drop off the rental?

I would suggest renting as I think that is the easiest, turning it back in at the port, taking the shuttle from your hotel to the ship and then either renting or taking DCL transport back to the airport (if that is where you are headed). I booked our rental for the return (DH is flying home but not until 7:00 and I am headed to Tampa) and I did well with Budget and the codes on Mousesavers (Y937800 worked well). I am a huge fan of DCL transportation especially if one is flying on one of the airlines that they can do your check in for you. It is so nice to put that luggage out the night before and not see it until your home airport - it is worth the price to me.

We are spending several days at WDW after the cruise to enjoy the International Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. Will be staying at Fort Wilderness.
