Oh Gina! I hope they don't have the Chicken Pox! Connor got them last January, even with the vaccine! It was called Post Vaccination Vericella. He was home for about a week with it. Without the vaccine, it can last up to 2 weeks! I would call your doctor. Maybe they can offer some medicine that might shorten the duration.
I have a funny story about when Connor had the pox.....
I had decided, since i was home all week, that I was going to Swifter the walls in my bedroom....yanno, the floor Swifter thing, but on the walls. Before I started, I had asked him when lunch was so I could go and get his schoolwork. He was going to stay home alone while I ran over there. Well, he told me one time, but when I checked the schedule, it was later. I told him, I am not going to leave now, your lunch isn't until blah blah time. He was playing a game on the PS at the time, so he didn't fully hear me. I then start to clean the walls in my bedroom. I shut the door so I could get behind it, and then was running it up and down the wall....hitting the ceiling and the baseboards in the process. When I was done, the Swifter was FILTHY. I thought, cool, Connor would want to see this, so I walked down the hall to the bonus room to show him and he's not there. I start yelling for him, but he's not answering, so I start to panic, Where could he be? I got the landing and yelled down, CONNOR!!!! I then heard the bathroom door open downstairs and he walks into the foyer in tears! I said, Where were you? He says, sobbing, I was in the bathroom. I thought you left. I thought there was a robber in the house! OMG. I then notice he has the phone, I asked, Who's on the phone? He says, "the police, they want to talk to you!" O M G! Needless to say, he thought I left, and he thought the banging the bedroom was a robber going through our stuff! He did the right thing by calling the police on the cordless and locking himself in the downstairs bathroom. the police ended up coming anyway, since they were already dispatched and nearly to the house. He was SUPER nice and told Connor what a great job he'd done and he'd done the right thing. Connor does not like to stay home to this day. He will go with me nearly everywhere, even if Colton is here. it really spooked him....but I just find it a very funny story now. House cleaning led to the police showing up at my house! It's just not good to house clean!
OMG Michele,
That is a funny story...I love it that is one to go down in the history books....
Great, idea to swiffer the walls, I never thought of that.......!!!!!!!!!!!!
