Good Morning all, we are suppose to get get rain/freezing rain all day!!! Not fun. Nancy and Denis, Jacob has a small room so we needed to buy a bed that housed everything too plus we wanted an extra bed for sleepovers so we bought this one, it has a locker/storage at the back and the roll out trundle bed, pull out desk and drawers. We got it at the Brick a few years back.

We almost bought my ds this same bed at one of our local stores a few years back. My kids have pretty small rooms too. We decided against this one though, because we have ceiling fans in the bedroom, and didn't want him that close to the blades LOL. My dh ended up making beds with storage for both of my kids. He's very handy! I loved this bed though, I thought it was so cool!!

I love this bed.!!!.. This would be perfect for my kids someday. Right now they are both still in the same room and their "other Bedroom" has toys in it. Maybe, when they want to seperate this would be perfect for them. I love all of these bed ideas..

Thanks for the welcome back. I went out with Tonya yesterday to help her spend a birthday gift certificate at a gift shop called Caught in the Brambles. We had a good time even though the weather was terrible. I was wondering if anyone has a son about 13 or 14 years old going on the cruise. Our youngest son, who is 14 will be on the cruise with us. He is excited about the teen club. He says that he can't wait to meet other kids his age and hang out in the club. I am going to make some homemade choc. chip cookies today to mail to our son who's in the army. He is over seas right not. Not sure where, but we get e-mails from him and he is doing okay. He loves my homemade choc. chip cookies! I can't wait for warmer weather! This cold is really getting to me!

Nice bed!!!!!! I like the fact that it has an extra bed that you can pull out!
We saw a nice one yesterday at Children's Furniture Store (I think that's what it's called) and they had a few of this style that really caught our attention. We went to the Brick yesterday too and they had NOTHING at all!!! just had 2 bunkbeds!

We need to go do some shopping, Michelle is pushing us to go buy that bed LOL and now my overprotective mom just called to tell us the streets are skating rinks. I told her I think we will be ok but now I'd rather drive to the other end of town than drive 5 minutes to visit them.

I know what you mean about the cold...I'm really tired of it and can not wait until the warm weather to get here, we're having freezing rain here today, so it will be really bad driving in this later on when we have to go out!

Jamie and Heidi, Colton just turned 13 on Wednesday and he is SO looking forward to the teen stack! And Heidi, our Connor will be 11 in May so our boys might see alot of each other!
Colton is into video games, tv, computer and reading. Not so athletic, but will shoot hoops or toss a ball when asked.
Connor is my get up and go kid. He loves to play football in the 'hood, anything to do with the military, and anything science related.
We'll have to get them together!

Both my boys love video games, Though Sean tends to be more into the hunting kind (he SO wants to go hunting some day, which could be interesting since he doesnt have much strength in his arms AND has osteoporosis so can't handle the recoil..). Kaj is very science oriented... while Sean is more into history. I mentioned your boys to them and they said cool! Good to know a few names before we go!

It sounds like our boys will become fast friends! Connor is into hunting as well! Although, neither Steve or I hunt, nor have the desire! LOL Connor likes to play Cabela's Big Hunt and has a ton of those Nerf Guns. He is on the computer playing Call of Duty 4 right now. Personally, I don't get it. This morning we have been watching Discovery Channel. Connor's favorite show is Mythbusters though. He even DVRs them so he won't miss an episode. Colton plays and watches, but just doesn't have the same enthusiasm as Connor. Colton's favorite games are Kingdom Hearts, Spyro, Mario and Harry Potter. I guess he is more into the magical and mythical.

Spiderwick was very good!!!! My kids said it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy different than the books though. I haven't read them, so I didnt' notice LOL.

Best part was, a big screen preview for Indiana Jones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got so excited, my kids were laughing at me.

I need to shop too, I have no cruise clothes, so count me in. I need to lose 8-10 pounds though first, we'll see if that happens.

Zach, is into video games too. He got a Xbox 360 for Christmas. He mostly likes war games and guitar hero. He is going out for tennis at school this spring. He also likes to run to keep in shape. His favorite subject is history, he has a great teacher this year that he really likes. He really likes the water. He learned how to wake board last summer and loves it. We have started talking about what excursions we would like to do. But since its our first cruise we're not sure. Zach wants to snorkel with the turtles if there is anything like that available. Zach and I want to parasail(probably spelled wrong) and I'm trying to talk my husband into it too. Not much luck so far.

I know, I watched the preview online, can't wait, how does Harrison Ford look on the big screen???? I need cruise clothes too, and so will the kidlets. I too want to lose a few pounds though, and an extra few as i hear you can gain a few onboard.

My son is 14 now, he'll be 15 in May, but he will be crusing. He loves video games and not much else LOL. He loves to read also. If he watches TV, it's the Discovery channel, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, those military shows. I think he should get to know some kids on the cruise beforehand, let me know.

I saw the preview for the new Indiana Jones movie and I was excited too. I loved all of the Indiana Jones movies!!
