Well, he could but here is the thing. There are no big insurance companies in Florida. Since he has always been a home office employee he does not work on comission. He gets a regular salary, plus monthly comission which is GREAT when sales are good (but he does not sell the insurance) he supports the top of the top guys and gals that do, and a bonus. A job in Florida would be working for an agent who sells or he would have to sell which results in just comission checks every month. We are not used to that!!! Opening up his own agency would also require comission and we would have to "adjust" our life style till he had a good client base. So it is better to be on the end that he is on now if that makes sense??!!! So our hope is that he can still work for this company and do an at home work. There was a girl who did just that worked at home from Dallas Texas and came up here to the home office once a month for just a few days. Now that would be Perfect.... So Bruce is wanting to wait a bit longer before he approaches his boss on this but it could be in our future. We hate the winters here... And tonight is cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out what to use to get rid of fire ants!!!!!!!!!!!
Cornmeal!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a fire ant problem, so that helped!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I got a Ficus tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our DSIL (Amber's DH) has clients in different states. His company seems pretty flexible. These days he is in AZ part of the week and in NV the other part. As he continues with this company he may end up living in one place and handling clients and responsilbilities in other states.

OOH,, how nice that is what Bruce hopes can happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His company is flexible too like that but he wants to make sure he is there a while before asking for something like this and it has just been about a year and a half now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love Cape May!!!!!!!!!!!! Their desserts are awesome. Also the All Beef Hot Dog at Beaches and Cream is to die for if you like hot dogs!

Good morning kiddies

Off on a thursday for once. This won't happen again until we leave for the ship on the 9th.

Kristen, I tried to wait up for you, especially since i wanted to sleep past 8am, but I just couldn't do it. Was at the keyboard with my eyes dropping shut.

Rich and I went to Cape May for Goofy's breakfast on our honeymoon, but other than that haven't been htere. We did walk around the hotel though. Really nice place. Its my Best friend's home for her DVC membership.

Good Morning everyone!!!

Any advice on raising 2 babies 14 months apart? My goodness. Andrew, who is 2, is just FLAT OUT MEAN to his sister! Ashlee is 10 months old. He takes things from her, pushes her down...she's actually taking about 10 steps in a row now!!!.....or if she is walking to the "Elmo Chair" he will run past her and either push her down or just jump in the chair before her. It all ends in her screaming and me getting mad at him. I guess his Dad has "busted his butt" a few times for it, BUT Andrew has learned to make himself puke when he gets mad! Lovely little circle we have going on here!

The Sun is shining bright today!!! Going to rain tomorrow though. Two or MORE inches of rain! we need it, but I have the feeling the ground is so dry that the water will just run off and we'll end up with flooding. oooh! and maybe no football! LOL

I'll pop in later. I think we need a change of scenery....a walk might be a good idea!!! C-Ya!!

Funny you should post this. I was just lurking on the 10/18 cruise thread and someone posted the same list last night. Now the only question is if I'll actually wind up going to the movies

I never go on land. Although i will say I'm dissapointed because I expected the new Indiana Jones to be showing. Ah well

My family loves going to the movies. I was hoping for a HSM preview. The new IJ would be nice too.

They were talking about the new HSM too. Seems the premiere date isn't until the 24th. And the movie isn't on their list either. Although someone called their concierge and it seems that they may get to see it on the Ariel vision/dumbo tron or whatever we're calling the big screen on the the magic

Who knows maybe the kids on our cruise will get lucky too. I have no kids so I haven't seen any of the HSMs.

oh my gosh Michele!!!! sounds like you really have your hands full with the little guy! that is a really unhealthy habbit he's got with making himself sick??

Hmmm.... you could try asking SUPERNANNY!!!!!!!!!!

OH wait.... that is YOU!!!

Does he have a time out spot of some kind that he has to sit in when he does something naughty like that? Little stinker! It helps if there really is one spot, maybe marked with a special rug like a doormat or something that he has to stay on for the time (1 minute per year of age).

Just got back from walking and then cut the grass. Bruce shut our pool this morning and is now headed into the office. I am off to get my haircut and highlighted before the cruise!!!!!!!!!
