Well Sean has a bad ear infection... have him on zithro and drops for pain.

My children are SO very generous, that now Brian and I are sick too! My temp hit 102 ON tylenol last night (cant take motrin because of the meds I am on for back pain). Sheesh... momma don't FEEL very good!!!

Better now than when we are supposed to be leaving though...

Hi! I hope you guys are feeling better soon. Merkie actually felt worse today than she did yesterday. If she's no better tomorrow, we will be going back to the doctor.

Hello to everyone. My morning schedule went quicker than I thought it would. I stopped by the house to have lunch and just thought I would drop in and see what everyone is doing. Have a good afternoon.

Cruise Question:

How cooll does it get onboard the ship at night? Should I plan bring a pair of jeans or some kind of pants and maybe a light sweater?

That'd mean I'd have to go buy some as all my long pants are too big except the ones I wear for church

While it is October and still warm in the Caribbean, if you want to walk on deck at night, the sea breze can make it feel cooler. Inside, the airconditioning can be a little on the chilly side, so a light sweater is not a bad idea.

There is a thread on here where people who are cruising sends post cards from Castaway Cay to future cruisers. Someone did this for us for our first cruise. We got the postcards about two weeks before we left. I offered at that time to return the favor, but noone replied. Merkie is old enough now that she knows it didn't really come from Mickey Mouse, so I didn't ask anyone to send us a card, but I did go on and offer to mail some out. I have had one family to send me a pm with the names and addresses for their two children. So, I will be stopping at the post office at Castaway Cay.

I always wondered what that postcard thread was about. Thanks for posting that.

Good Run last night and good attempt by the ladies to overtake 1000! When I saw Allen post, my response was, You've got to be kidding me? But would I expect anything less?

Shauna, I too, am impressed you could pack so quickly! But heck, you probably just washed clothes and put them back in the suitcase! Good To Go!

Kristin, thanks for looking at the video. I know he's hard to pick out. Heck, I have trouble with that! I am sure there will me more! Interesting article too! I wouldn't mind if every cruise went to Castaway Cay Twice! whether it saved on fuel or not!

Heidi, I hope you and Brian get better soon!!!! I hope Sean gets better too!! Colton is my earache kid. I know what he's going through.

Michele- I have to be honest. I had gotten our clothes together earlier in the day but hadnt put them into a suitcase yet...But I did when I talked to you guys and I wasnt completely packed either after I signed off with everyone last night I still have to make up my Mousekeeping envelopes and pack the carryon bag. Im crossing my fingers that My bag isnt over the weight limit I might try to weigh it later from our home scale (if the battery isnt dead in it)

Hello again. I am already back home. Now, I am feeling really bad. Congestion, fever and just very achy all over. It started as soon as I got back to the office after lunch. My throat isn't hurting, but my left ear is. This is all I need.

I hope everyone else who is sick or has sick kids gets to feeling better.

that's what I was thinking? We are still endouring reminants of Fay, so it's a misty rainy day again. I don't think we even got above 70 today. We need the rain badly. we haven't had a good soaking rain in weeks. But I know I wouldn't be going near a pool!! Connor will have fun at football tonight! The field will be nice and soggy and muddy and goopy. Gotta remember to put that blanket and towel back in my truck!! LOL

Michelle, stay dry. Cold and rain sounds like a good environment for you to catch what we all have.

Looks like Merkie is missing school again tomorrow. I hate this since she has to miss four days for the cruise. That will be seven days in the first two months of school. That's not the way to get off to a good start with your teachers!

I have to go in to the office for the first half of the day. I have a meeting that can't be rescheduled. My ex-hubby is going to come over and stay with Merkie while I go. I just hope I feel a little better myself. Then again, if everyone thinks I am contagious, maybe some of the people who are normally long winded will hurry it up to get me out of there.

What is with everyone being sick this week...dont you all know that being sick isnt allowed But at least it is now instead of during our cruise

realfam- Welcome back home Im trying to recall what you might have missed but nothing really comes to mind besides us trying to beat Allen to the high number posts But Im sure others can help to fill you in...but nothing really pops into mind...Oh wait---Allen did ask if any cruisers who will be around the port on the Friday before the cruise...If they wanted to eat at "Grills" and he posted the info...Im sure he would post it again if you were interested I know all too well how Fay was We got our fair share of rain and flooding here Do you know if (not counting Fay) if it rains every evening or not??? It does here and so I just wanted to be prepared for Orlando....Sometimes 3 hours away can be a big weather difference

Christopher and myself are headed to Disney on Monday!! We are staying at the Poly for the first time Im sure we will have fun.
