we are back from the market! Ended up getting just some peaches...they smelled SO good, and we got 2 sirloin steaks, 2 strip steaks and 2.5 pounds of ground sirloin. We are going to try this meat and if it's good, we'll probably order one of thier packages when we get back from the cruise.

Now I have to think about what to get to take for tomorrow. we didn't get any other fruits, so I am not sure....maybe a dessert?? and I could make some mac and cheese too...the kids all like that.

Afternoon everybody.

Haven't gone back too far to catch up. It'll take too long I just love love the weekend b4 school starts at the store. You get all the last minute parents who can't believe the BTS section is so empty.

Had 1 dad who was looking for items he couldn't find, I told him to check the regular office aisles. most of this stuff we carry yr round, just bring obscene amts in for the summer. 3 times he tells me we're out of a lot of stuff. Yup I said we want sell out. Come back in a few days you'll see Halloween back here.

A mom who wasn't happy that the backpacks are not on sale. She looks at the tag, and it clearly says $29.99. That's the correct price. Yup, till it goes clearance. won't go clearance until after school starts.

And the person who wanted a specific pen. Her friend "bought it here." Right and i kept some in the back just for you cause she called and told me you were coming(that's what i wanted to say, not what i did say ) Ppl think we'll just keep getting shipments of everything in just because they haven't bought it yet. Nope.

and all that fun was while I put out 3 tubs of backpacks on the floor, which added up to somewhere in the neighborhood of 180-200. Took 2.5 hrs. HOw fun

NIce here today... THe pool is warmed up... Bruce's cousin called and wanted us to go over but I passed. We really need to get the kids to bed early and get ready for school.. How is the kitchen coming along???!!!!!!!

it's very hot here today too!!!!! Denis is finishing up with the primer than tonight we will be doing a first coat of paint!!! I went out today to get the paint and it looks really nice!! I picked a dark sand colour!!

Morning everyone!

Michele, I am wearing a mask so that I don't infect anyone here!

Sean ended up having trouble breathing yesterday, had to go back on oxygen as his sats went down to 81-83 (normal for him is 94-96) and his temp went back up so we went to the ER. OH the joy of it all! Chest xray is fine, so we did some IV abx and blood tests, so far so good, but his ear was still red so we did an abx change. The doc wanted to put him on augmentin, but I was REALLY afraid that would totally ruin his gut so we compromised on keflex instead. Hope it does the trick! After finally gaining some goodly weight, I really do NOT want to backslide now!

While we were there my ear started hurting and I started feeling worse and worse so decided I should get seen too! Well I am on abx too now! Yes, I have a nasty ear infection, possible bronchitis, sinus infection, etc. THANKS KAJ for being SO GENEROUS with your family! LOLOL!

Anyway, I am going to stay in bed for the next couple of days... hopefully Brian can manage to somewhat man the fort, he is a little better than I am, tired, but at least improved and continuing to improve! And Kaj is the best of the bunch! A little residual sore throat, but no cough, no ears, etc.

The house is a DISASTER... and honestly? I don't really care! I guess that means I really AM sick, hmm? There is nothing I feel like eating, water tastes kinda icky, but anything else hurts to swallow...

whine whine whine. Ignore me please! I will feel better soon, I HAVE TO!!! Someone has to take care of this crazy insane family!!!!

yikes Heidi!!!!!!!!! hope you all feel better soon! Get well and get some rest!

Dee already worked as a teachers aide sub one day last week and is getting calls already for this upcoming week of school

Hey everyone...Whew we are back from errands today. I had to run to Babies R Us to TRY to pick up a rain cover for the stroller for while at Disney and also a cup holder for the stroller. I love the McClaren Strollers but they dont come with cup holders but they didnt have the rain covers for the smaller strollers, only for the double ones and the sit and stand ones...so we are without for the trip I might just have to bring an extra rain coat or something to place over it. And then I had to get a new scale at Target (yes Maureen, we are helping to support you ) because for some reason our old one that we never even have hardly used has broken and I need to weigh my luggage to make sure its under 50 lbs

Heidi- Get to feeling better...Im sending these your way To help you get better faster

Nancy and Denis- be sure to take some pics of the finished walls so we can all see your hard work

Michele- I think I am going to come over and hang out with you guys...sounds like your making some yummy things

Gail- It sounds like your going to be busy in the next few months with Choir practice and such...WOW

My wireless mouse went out today for my laptop... although I am not glad that it went it, I am glad that it did it today before we left for Orlando so that I could pick up a new one to bring with me

Well I guess I better go and help unload the car. not a ton of things but just a few. I will be back on in a minute

They had the best price AND he had a $10 gift card. This bugger cost a small fortune! we've threaten Colton within an inch of his life if he loses, breaks, or has it stolen!

They are horribly expensive! Is it Texas Instruments? That is what Kaj's is... but it is good enough that it SHOULD take him through high schoo, all the college entrance exams, and his first year or two in college as well. I HOPE! He DID lose it, and I would not replace it... he had to work to earn money to buy a new one! And OH did he hate doing his math by hand.... ROFL! Mean old mom! I loaned him my cheapie for 2 months but at the end of that time he was on his OWN.

I remember those dang graphing calculators in school. Thankfully our school had the option of renting them when I went...Thats what we had to do because our family just could not afford to buy one But Im still not sure that I have ever truly figured out how to use those things
