Once the vet she goes to pop out ot the receptionists desk to look at a chart and she must have recognised him because she tried to hide under Gregs legs and then she jumped on the seat I was on and snuggled behind me as if to hide. It was funny to see that big old dog trying to hide herself. She was peaking out the other side at him.

Guido used to pop his head between my arm and body like an ostrich ... "If I can't see them, they can't see me!"

It is amazing how smart dogs can be when they want to. Mine are so sneaky. They are far worse than my kids were.

Afternoon all:


Well poor Jack took a nose dive in the snow this morning.....I'm not exactly sure what happended....but he was heading up the stairs of the deck and the next thing I hear is a very loud thump....when I looked out the door he had his head turned looking back in the direction he just came from (probably looking like what the heck) and when he turned his face was full of snow.....
he looked silly, but I felt bad for him......but he seemed ok, and not hurt.

Poor fella,
glad he is ok. He probably missed a step in deeper snow that expected and went down which took him by surprize. He will probably be very cautious of that area next time.

No snow here this year so far but it was all around us. We just get ugly old cold rain.

Afternoon everyone.

I put Holly and Brayden down for a nap about an hour ago and I'm enjoying the peace and quiet.

I'm counting down the days till we're cruising.....50 to go!

This time Holly is old enough to be in the kids clubs and Janel and I will be able to enjoy ourselves.

I cant believe she is 9 months old already!!!
I did get a kick out of my daughter....she was telling me the other nite that Izzy is crawling all over the place and pulling herself up....she say's...I cant get anything done around here!! Welcome to parenthood sweetie... she's wishing she was still 3 months old.... gotta love it....payback

This is very true, however, grandma & grandpa are coming with us to help with the kids, so between kids club and Janel's parents I'm feeling pretty good about things.

I was able to use miles for one ticket and the others are only $150 each so we just HAD to go.

Dang! I wish I could of gotten air fare for $150! We paid $176 when we flew over in August, but our flight next month set me back $380 each!

MaryAnn is doing just fine last time i heard. Actually the last thing i heard about her was.
It's was 4 a.m. and she was still awake!!! I do remember those days and nights!!

I usually watch for the commercials
Although when I take sides I always pick the underdog reguardless of who they are. I think my son Pete will be ehre to watch it on sunday.



Greg remembered my scrapbook supplies yesterday. They were in the storage unit so now I can work on my scrapbooks for the last 2 cruises. I have all that stuff in bags sitting by the table for months and months. So I can finally get them done and put away. YEAH!!!

Even got the taxes done and sent in. Yeah!! Refund this year.

Yep Kathy.....gotta love those 2 and 4am feedings.....especially when they stay awake when they should be sleeping.....dont miss that.....
I did get a kick out of Izzy when I was there in October, Heather had gone out with the girls friday nite, I babysat, of course Izzy was already in bed when heather left....but she woke up around 2am....so I got her a bottle fed her and put her back to bed.....she slept maybe 20 minutes then got up....so I went and got her...sat on the couch with her....she was just sitting there wide awarke looking around.....of course I thought it was cute and I started laughing....she turns and gives me this look, like what are you laughing at....which just made me laugh even harder.....ya gotta love um.......

I'm not much of a sports person, not sure I'm even gonna watch....but will see.....
Well I go see Ortho tomorrow....had a cortisone shot in my knee yesterday and still that didnt help.....hurt liked hell but really didnt help....I'm hoping to get an MRI and see what the heck is going on in there.

Kathy: still looking for furniture, the room is pretty much done other than that....not sure what I want furniture wise....I'm more into country so its hard to really find anything that I want....but with my new colors down there, I'm think of going with brown....just have to find something I like.

I have appt tonite at ortho for my knee....its a "little" better, but I'm still limping around and having pain....so hopefully I can get some answers tonite.

on my countdown to colorado 19 days....I'm really excited that my son is coming with and meeting his niece for the first time.
I decided to do some kid payback.....it will be my sons birthday while out there, so we are going to take him to dinner....Heather's birthday is in March and since this is a milestone birthday (turning 30) and I wont be there, I decided to have them bring a cake and sing happy birthday to the both of them......oh I cant wait....they will be so embarresed.

T-5 hours and counting!

This is the first surgery I've had where I didn't have to be to the hospital until 1:15pm! Usually they want you there first thing in the morning!

They told me not to eat or drink anything after midnight, so it's going to be a long day!

Denise, what did you find out about your knee? We're waiting for pictures of your new carpet and furniture.

Kathy, how's Pixie and your new grand baby doing?

Well the doctors office just called and said the doctor hurt his back and won't be able to do my surgery today.

I guess they're going to try and get me in Monday morning.

of course the BIG upside is you can visit with US all weekend

Denise I love country and early american furniture. Its always hard to pick something that you know you will be having to keep for several years. Need to make sure you really like it!

Tomorrow I am off to see my mom with my oldest daughter. Hoping for a good visit.

We actually have some sun today. It feels so good coming through the window plus I can turn off the electric heater this morning which will save some $$.

Pixie is going good accept one painful spot on her leg. It is the area where they had to go half way across the leg on the inside to remove the tumor.its was such a deel cut it will remain painful for awhile. Just now and then she will jump or jerk really hard and fast and go right ot that spot and lick like crazy with a painful look on her face, so its obvious what is happening there.

But no infection, its looking good and healing up quickly on the outside.
We have to put Neospoin on it for another week 3 times a day to help it to not get infected and it wont hurt her to lick the Neosporin off if i dotn catch her in time.

Minnie is fine accept she wants to play hard and Pixie isnt suppose to do that yet and no walks for another week. Poor minnie doesnt understand and she is just a bundle of energy.

MaryAnn is doing fine. Not sure of her wieght but is growing nicely and of course sleeping all day and stayng up all night

We have something bright outside, not sure what it is? It feels warm in the window and looks shinny!! I think its called sunshine I dont see much of it here in Oregon, but I think I remember it from Florida

Soon to be rain all weekend until Monday though.

No sooner had I hung up the phone with the doctors office that we headed for my favorite Chinese restaurant in town for some spicy hot pepper beef......I'm feeling really full and sleepy now.
