Greg you have my permission to say ##**## today if it helps you to feel better:goodvibes Of course you dont want him thinking about his pain while working on you!! So its for the best.

of course the BIG upside is you can visit with US all weekend:cool1:

Kathy

The thought ran through my mind, but I didn't say anything. I'm a fairly mellow fellow.

My doctors a real good guy and I'm sure he wouldn't of canceled unless he was really hurting. I actually woke up this morning without any pain, so I'm hoping it will last until Monday. :thumbsup2

Here you go Kathy. Enjoy!

Well the doctors office just called and said the doctor hurt his back and won't be able to do my surgery today.

I guess they're going to try and get me in Monday morning.

How does that song go?....If it wasn't for back luck, I'd have no luck at all? :lmao:

Gee Greg sorry to hear about that.....well hope things go well on monday then.

Jeff great pics....I cant believe how big the girls are getting.

Well my news on my knee....just plain o arthritis:sad2:....really bad, bone on bone..they are hoping I can make it another 5 years then they are talking about knee replacements..... getting old really sucks....
but the good news is I am feeling much better today...I think the cortisone shot I got on tues has pretty much kicked in and I'm actually walking almost normal....still having some pain, but I feel so much better.

have a good weekend all

:banana::banana::banana:

Those were great Jeff, Thankyou for sharing.
The girls look so grown up in their formal dresses.

I love Emily hugging the palm tree. :lovestruc
Wish I was that limber.

I was wondering if they would have the Princess from Princess and the frog.
I havnt got to see the movie yet.

I can't believe Mina got up on stage? Did the girls yell for them to pick their mom? What a great thing to happen for her. Very few get picked but lots want to get up there. She looks great, not even nervous looking.

well its time to wash my dishes, so I best get to it. We had Elk tonight.

Denise,
I guess you and Greg can compare aches and pains now since you both have arthritis. Sorry to hear thats the diagnose though. I know knee replacements have come along ways now and are extremely successful. I read an article on them awhile back in an AARP magazine.

I know its hard to believe I am old enough to get AARP magazine:rolleyes1
So far no arthritis for me. Greg has some but not too bad yet, mostly in his hips but but once he is up and moving it gets better, so far.;)

Cortizone shots are great. I know many people who have been helped by them.

Mina did do great and no the girls weren't yelling for her. Mike Super picked her himself. Then, he picked Emily. Yep. Here she is...

I feel your pain Denise...literally! Arthritis sucks! I hate needles though...they'd never get a needle in my knee. I told the doctor he could shoot up all my joints with cortisone while I'm knocked out for surgery.

Jeff, great pictures!

Jeff, great pictures!

I hate needles too but I have had them a couple of times when I had no choice. This will gross you out since you hate needles.:lmao:
One Dr. put a needle clear through a tumor on the bottom of my tongue once to get a biopsy. Then 3 times i had a needle put through the front of my throat, through my thyroid and into a tumor on the back of it for a biopsy. Now that was painful!!!!

I told you it would gross you out:scared1:

Kathy

Thats amazing he ran into you at dinner too. He seems like a nice guy when we saw him. Like I said you had an extra apecial cruise this time.:goodvibes

he was actually seated at the table right next to us so after dinner we asked if he'd mind taking a picture... Really nice guy.

That's just down right barbaric! This is the 21st century for crying out loud!!

Ok folks - official total in our yard was 21 inches of snow. Needless to say, YUCK. Our cable and internet are out (I have an aircard for laptop) but we are lucky since lots of folks (including my dad) are without power.

Our snow guys came today thank goodness but there is still some shoveling to be done (couldn't do sidewalk because snowplow was out and about when they were here).

Went out when sun came out and roads were relatively clear but everything (including all starbucks) was closed.

Hope everyone is having a calmer weekend than us!

Jeff,

I was wondering how you would do in that storm. On the news it sounds pretty bad back east..

Hope your dad gets power soon. Does he have a fire place or wood stove to keep warm?

I went to see my mom today and we had a good visit.:thumbsup2

My oldest daughter joined me there. At first she knew she was her grandaughter, then she just looked familar, then later she looked like she could be related, then she was my friend and by the time we left she was intorducing my daughter as her 2nd daughter:lmao:

But mom was happy and feeling good and very chatty and thats what counts. So I was very happy about that.

Then I did grocery shopping before coming home.
I left at 8:30 a.m. and got home alittle after 5 P.M.

That was a long day for me. I cheated and stopped at KFC and brought home dinner.:goodvibes

Back tomorrow,
I am tired tonight,

Kathy

So i think we are definitely booking this sailing - in fact I think we are going to do the whole back to back thing. :cool1: Pricing is almost identical to doing the post-Thanksgiving week which is a western again. We had booked Turkey Week this year because it's an eastern. But the chance to sail with Nanaheads and the week is a good one and it's 2 stops at Castaway on the NEW ship. I think there is no question. Look out Nanaheads here we come.

Morning all,

Jeff thats great. One more nanahead family accounted for.:thumbsup2
:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Way too soon for us to know if we get to come yet. Too many variables between now and then. So we will see what happens.;)

Pixie is out for her first real walk since surgery, so hopefully she will do ok and not be showing signs of pain in her leg when they come back inside.

Back when i can, busy morning today,

Kathy

Evening all:

Sorry it was a crazy day here yesterday and today...just busy around the house and had a lot of running to do.

Just wanted to post and say hello....

have a good evening

later

That's a lot of snow! If I'm lucky I've got 6 inches in my yard.

I've only started my snow blower once all season and that was just after Christmas.
