Yes you might have to look backthrough the post to find it or NENNER one could maybe put it in her siggi.

I think it is around page 61 under a post from nenner1.

Good idea, I'll do that I need to tweak the sig anyway.

I just booked this cruise on Saturday and was coming to post my info on this thread. When I saw Welcome aboard Jane and family, I thought it was for me (since my name is Jane).

 LOL, :welcome: to you and your family too! :goodvibes

OK guys, I got the logos done. There are four, two with light and dark backgrounds and borders and two with transparent backgrounds (also with white writing for use on dark/bright shirts and black writing for use on white/light shirts) If anyone has any problems saving or using these let me know. They are in .PNG format...I don't recommend using .JPG as that was what was causing the background problems.

ETA: I removed the two transparent background logos. They do need more work, I could see eraser marks. One of the biggest problems I am having is that the orginal image was heavily beveled and shadowed and while erasing background mess I have managed to nick the edges pretty heavily. It can be tedious repair but I don't want to post them until they are perfect. So for now here are the two good ones and I will probably reconstruct the others from scratch.

Off to watch more on the Dream, some big announcements today...what a lovely ship she is. Check it out here: Disney Dream

Okay.........Noone else is talking today........But i have made up for everyone else.

PIRATE NIGHT.........................
My plan is just to go with Pirate T shirts
Bandanas
EYE Patches
Some Pirate Jewlery
and

Jeans or BlackPants??????????

Thats the question............

Jeans or blackpants??????????????????

I think black pants also. For pirate night we're thinking of making T shirts with our dog's picture on them dressed in this year's Holloween custume (a pirate of course). Jack Sarrow has nothing on him.pirate:

I just booked this cruise on Saturday and was coming to post my info on this thread. When I saw Welcome aboard Jane and family, I thought it was for me (since my name is Jane). It will be me, my DH, and my 2 sons- Ben age 12 and Josh age 7. We also took a 4 day Wonder at the end of last month. We booked a 7 day for October 2011 while on board but when we got home we decided we couldn't wait 2 years, so we switched to this cruise. We also are waitlisted for early dining. Is it hard for the waitlist to come through? We are already really excited.

Too Funny! We were on a 4 Day Wonder Oct. 18-22nd, 2009 and booked on board for this cruise and for October 8, 2011 also for me, DH, DD (8 1/2, 9 1/2 by cruise) and DS (3/12, 4 1/2 by cruise). We were waitlisted for early dining also.

Your DH's name isn't Mike is it? :)

Welcome to the Janes and families. For what it's worth I LOVE your name(s). If I had had a little girl that would have been a strong contender. I guess the grass is always greener...........I hope you get the dinner seating you want. You should SO ask to be seated together.:upsidedow

Thanks for the link to the Dream, Nenner1! I can't get over that water coaster!:thumbsup2 Hope those 5 day itineraries are frquent- I'd LOVE to double dip!!!

And your designs are AWESOME!!! I always admired the one from your last cruise- I feel so lucky to be a part of this new one!!! I LOVE it!!!!!!

Podsnel, what are you going over here when you should be writing your trip report? I love your trip report. I look forward to the day when I can travel somewhere alone with DH.

Just requested to join the facebook page (Name: Sandra Cianfarani).

I'm so new to facebook and the DIS group idea, I hope we don't miss anything, and that it would be 'easy' to find my way around.

When events are organized, how do we know where / when to meet?

Good morning fellow cruisers.

We sail 1 year from today!!

Aww thanks I can't take credit for that design though. I was supposed to make one but I was preggo back then and didn't get a lot of stuff done, LOL. One of the guys on our thread made it, and it was awesome!! The only thing I managed to finish was the spreadsheet heard round the WORLD. Although I do see it pop up in some form or another on most of the meet threads so while it ended up being slightly wrong, apparently it was a good design! I will make one for us too, of course! :goodvibes And this time it should be correct barring any last minute itinerary changes. :rolleyes1

I got you Sandra, welcome to the group! :goodvibes

When events are organized, how do we know where / when to meet?

Most of the time they are decided on and posted here in the thread. Janice has wonderful comprehensive info in the first post of the thread and she does update it. I'm sure when we make final decisions on that kind of thing the info will be posted there. I am also posting to the events column on our FB group wall. Right now the only events set in stone and posted there are the cruise itself, and the deadline for FE signup. We have decided to do a Dis Trick-or-Treat but haven't confirmed a day or time yet. Also we haven't had any discussion on a Dis Meet yet either. That was one oif the things that dissapoints me about the Group FB page, I was hoping we would get notifications since I find it *much* easier to follow things when I get emails to help "remind" me. So I hope there is a way to turn on that feature in FB and I just haven't figured it out yet..

Some meet groups put together a website too. We had one on our cruise and it as a nice easy place to quickly check and gather info, especially if the Dis goes down. Really though most discussion about things did stay on the thread.

Guess what.....One year from today we set sail! :cool1::banana::woohoo::banana::cool1::cheer2::cool1::thumbsup2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Good morning fellow cruisers.

We sail 1 year from today!!

That...is awesome! :woohoo:

Oh so excited......
One year one year one year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was trying something but it didnt work..................................Oh well
October 30th 2010
Happy Halloween

The 5 day cruises alternate over the summer starting on May 29th and end on August 16th. I spoke to my TA today and told her to book a Royal Suite on the 5 day August 16th cruise when the dates go on sale this Monday :cool1:

Hope everybody had a great Halloween last night and had fun Trick-or-Treating! Next year, we'll be doing that on the boat!!! :goodvibes

There was an article in our paper today about the Fantasy Fest in Key West. As you know the last day of that celebration will be going on while we are in port. I was glad to see that this article mentioned that the last day of the festival (Sunday) is more geared toward children. So maybe we won't need to be quite as concerned with what we might encounter while we are in town. The majority of the article discussed the adult activities that take place on Saturday night, however. Here is the article if anyone is interested in reading it: Revelers descend on Key West for Halloween fest

HEY YA'LL

I was just answering a question out on the main area.

And made me think about this again..................

DH and I do not really want to sit alone for dinner.
We have Late Dining...........

WOuld there be any one interested in joining dinner reservations.....

We will have a 14 and 17 year old with us who are made to come and eat with us on foraml nighr other than that they are usually not eating with us.

We would just like to have a little bit of conversation, We ran out of things to say usually before we got to our main course and it is a little weird just sitting there eating talking about how good the food is over and over again.

SHOOT........We dont even have to talk to you......We could just listen to you talk to each other OR listen to you talk to your kids...

Or if there are any single cruisers........

I just bought the cutest little Pumpkin head with Mickeys Ears

It is what kids would carry around to get their candy in.

It is sooo adorable i think i am goign to use it for my Fish Extender on the
2nd room.

I dont expect to get stuff for 2 rooms i just thought it was soooo cute i couldnt pass it up. Heck i might go back and get another and use them at both rooms....

Oh that would be sooo cute!!!!!!

Then the kids would find our rooms much easier!
I just talked mys elf into another one!!!!!
:scared1: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I just got an email from my TA that I have a Royal suite for 08/16/11 - 5 day cruise w/ 2 stops at CC. It's more than I wanted to spend - 11,964.68 - but I will probably keep it. I have 20 months to come up wit da cash! :goodvibes

Good luck to all of you booking the Dream

I just got back from Target and their Halloween clearance - lots of Disney stuff that will be perfect for the Fish Extender exchange next year!

hey Lynn where did you find it, Disney Store?

Jeff Congrats on getting your suite booked! Wow I have to say that price isn't as high as I'd feared it might be for a Royal. I am so stoked on the Dream...we had planned to do the Oasis/Allure next year but I don't know if we can hold out not going on the Dream (or Fantasy) until 2012. :rolleyes1 I saw someone else mention their price was about $900/pp inside (4 night) and that is pretty much what I expected. High for a short cruise but.. That ship is just going to be amazing!! :)

The Aquaduck Ride through is posted on the Disney Parks Blog- I love the uncanny resemblance to Space Mountain when you go through the stack. Check it out HERE!

Actually, what someone organized on our cruise last year was a 'table match up'. If you met someone in the thread, you thought you might like to sit with, the organizer made a list and coordinated it with DCL. I think all they needed was the party's names and either room or reservation number, I don't recall exactly.
