Thanks to the World Series, I am so far behind in my regular TV watching. I just realized how far when I looked at all my subscribed threads and realized that I can't read the ones about Survivor, Flash Forward, The Amazing Race and Mad Men. Is that sad or what?

Btw, I forgot who here is from Tampa, but couldn't you have arranged for a cooler weekend this weekend? It was so darned HOT :smokin: (okay, technically, I was in Sarasota, but close enough)

I just got back from Target and their Halloween clearance - lots of Disney stuff that will be perfect for the Fish Extender exchange next year!

I bought HUGE bag of things at PARTY CITY..
I thought either for the FE or the TOT!!!

May have to go check out Target and WALMART

Actually, what someone organized on our cruise last year was a 'table match up'. If you met someone in the thread, you thought you might like to sit with, the organizer made a list and coordinated it with DCL. I think all they needed was the party's names and either room or reservation number, I don't recall exactly.

Oh good thanks i was wondering how to do that!

I know exactly what you mean (but we've been falling behind for other reasons) my friends on FB keep spoiling Grey's for me! :rotfl2:

yeah that's us...believe me we have been trying. Did you see Plant City had the high temp of the entire NATION on Saturday- 90 degrees. It was terrible Saturday night, I don't know how this kids did it in their costumes, I was wearing a knit top and shorts and I was soaked in sweat!!! :upsidedow I guess this is the cold snap today, right? 70's and 80's? LOL!!!

KMART

But WOW
I may have to go to the Disney Store.
OMG i may just have to spend the rest of my evenign store hopping!!

Oh cool thanks, those sound awesome!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone. I officially booked this cruise on Monday. I'll be traveling with Plutoluvsfifi and her DH Mark.
This will be my 3rd DCL cruise, having done a 4 night Wonder in Nov. '05 (DH and I renewed our vows in the Cadillac Lounge) and a 7 night Western last Thanksgiving. Both previous trips were with Plutoluvsfifi as well. I'll be traveling alone because DH is a teacher and cannot get the time off and our 16 yr. old DS decided he doesn't want to come this trip. I'm really looking forward to another magical week at sea!pixiedust:

Welcome Aboard! Glad to have you, sorry to hear about your DH not coming. Ironically, many of us our sailing or on vacation because NJ teacher's convention falls on the first week of November which is why you will find many from NJ on this cruise.

It's unfortunate that Pa. does not do that. When we sailed over Thanksgiving he ended up using 3 personal days and calling off (fake)sick from WDW one day. He gets no time off over Halloween. He would have to use too many personal and sick days and they won't allow it. I normally wouldn't even think about going without him but I just started a new job in October and I hate it. I left a great job with great co-workers and an absolutely incredible boss all for more money. I feel like I owe it to myself and DH was agreeable and told me to book it.

Now I'm trying to decide shore excursions for Cozumel and Grand Cayman!

I work in Princeton; many co-workers live in PA and some are teachers. Your words are ones I have heard many times before.

Have fun deciding on excursions. ;)

HEY YA'LL

I was just answering a question out on the main area.

And made me think about this again..................

DH and I do not really want to sit alone for dinner.
We have Late Dining...........

WOuld there be any one interested in joining dinner reservations.....

We will have a 14 and 17 year old with us who are made to come and eat with us on foraml nighr other than that they are usually not eating with us.

We would just like to have a little bit of conversation, We ran out of things to say usually before we got to our main course and it is a little weird just sitting there eating talking about how good the food is over and over again.

SHOOT........We dont even have to talk to you......We could just listen to you talk to each other OR listen to you talk to your kids...

Or if there are any single cruisers........

Lynn,

We would be happy to be considered as potential dinning companions There is me (Linda), DH (Mark), and Lexandme (Judy) who just booked. We don’t have children so I don’t know how excited yours would be to have us join them but we think it would be fun. We can be entertaining. Why, on the last cruise I almost entertained the whole dinning room by attempting to stand up as flaming Baked Alaska was passing over head (this was stone cold sober). If it hadn’t been for Mark’s “block”…. well lets just say that no one would have had a lack dinner conversation. that night.:rolleyes1 If that doesn’t make you want us at your table nothing will.

I think that sounds AWESOME!!!!!!!

Our kids dont join us for dinner except for formal night.
They would rather be in the teen club. And it took me a little bit to realizze ...BUT it is their vacation too..
So i make them come to formal night for pics etc....then they will probablly leave half way through that.
I have Pmed you as well.

I'm with Linda and would love to join you all for dinners. :thumbsup2I have 2 kids, DD is 23 and DS is 16. Last cruise DS pretended he didn't know us. We did ask him to please join us for Thanksgiving dinner which he did, but other than that we never saw him. He left the stateroom in the morning and came back late at night. He was having too much fun with others his age. If your kids decide to join us, I would love that as well. And Linda is great, especially with teenagers. Our DS will speak to her while ignoring us!
Linda did almost burn down the ship. I was witness! We have to keep an eye on her.......

Well we have 4 kids but my older 2 are 24 and 21 they are both gone from home my 21 DD is married.
So they will not be with us either.

Yeah i barely saw my kids BUT THEY DOOLOVE the cruises and i think if we were tagether more than we are it would just be family fued.....so why MAKE THEM.....thats just our way of vacationing right now.....

We have done the parks and been together every minute of every day and we are glad when our cruise time comes.........

SO this is cool.........
We are also joined up with DISNEY MISSY318

I think it will be a blast!

If you guys know how to do the DCL thing to join us all up please do share one of us will have to do it. TI can be me i just need the details and need to know when.

I would imagine we have many months till we have to request the table.

If I may take a minute here and say

Congrats to the 2009 World Champion New York Yankees!!!!

Yes, lucky lucky Lexandme gets a whole room to herself. I will have to live vicariously through her when DH and I are competing for drawer and closet space:rotfl:
