Please add me to the roll call for this cruise! We booked it when we were onboard the Wonder for the 4 day October 18-22. We decided 4 days was just not long enough and that we definitely needed to try a 7 day.

I booked a Cat.6 GTY for me, DH, DD (9) and DS (4). I wanted to choose a stateroom, but it seems this cruise is pretty full. I also was wait listed for main dining. Hoping that comes through, since I don't think my son has the ability to stay up that late for dinner.

Planning a new cruise is the only thing that is keeping me from being depressed about the one that just ended!

Welcome aboard. I know what you mean about a 4-day not being enough. Our first cruise on DCL back in 1998 was a three day, then we graduated to a 4-day in 2000 and 7-days thereafter without looking back (with the exception of one DVC member cruise, which is a 4-day).

Wow, sounds like the cruise is filling up fast. The waitlist will probably come through for you. We had to waitlist when we went last year and ended up being switched to the main seating before the actual cruise date.

My daughter shares an apartment with a girl frmo South Jersey who comes from a Philly family. We were down there this weekend and met the parents for the first time, so I was nice and didn't trash talk TOO much

Not the only one...I gave up hope on baseball in the mid 90's (I grew up on the correct side of PA, where football and hockey are ways of life and baseball is just an excuse to spend the day outside drinking). I could never root for the Phillies with a clean conscience, so any time they are playing, my favorite is the team against Philly

It doesn't help much that I live in Tampa now, and I'm still a bit mad at Philly (well, their weather, more than anything) for stealing the Series last year. I hope the Yankees get them in 4 straight games.

I really like the ideas of a sticker or something to identify our group and of a small piece of candy with a clue or just a piece of candy. That way not little ghost feels left out if they happen by.

Isn’t Halloween great? All your favorite candy in little sizes! It almost makes up for what they did to it for the WDW 25th anniversary. Anyone remember the “giant cake”? There hasn’t been such a bad idea since New Coke.

No a 7 day wont be long enough either.

But i imagine it will be better then the 4.

If you are already waitlisted for the Early dining, chances may be pretty low.
But there is always PIXI DUST!

I live in a house filled to the brim with Yankees maniacs! We're VERY excited for the WS!!!!!!

And I remember the castle cake! It was the first time we took the kids to WDW- my DS15 was 3 and DS12 was 5 months old!!! DS10 wasn't even a twinkle in anyone's eye! Geez....where does the time go...

Finally, welcome aboard Jane and family!!! And I agree with others- even the 7day isn't long enough....I wish those repositioning cruises were during NJ week!

I was able to figure out the mystery white background, that was my bad...not Photobucket's, LOL

It actually looks really great with the black background. When I get it complete I will post up one of each (dark/light) with transparent backgrounds and one of each with a bordered solid background for those who prefer the "square" look. Hope that makes sense.

If anyone has any preferences or suggestions, let me know!

Thanks for the hard work on the logo. I prefer white tee shirts so I will probably go with the one I showed on the model, unless one of your new ones will look better on white.

.....a couple about to be married that weekend.....her family was from the Bronx and his family was from Boston....and yes - Boston vs New York was on tv that night.

I played it right down the middle and played it up to both sides of their family But I did say to the bride to be that night, "....for better or worse....." (Boston whipped up on them that night).


Gonna be an interesting series. and YYEESS.......i'd say it's gonna be a slug fest, very emotional series BBUUTT.......YANKS in .....in.......in......(ok....it's taking me a lot to say this).....in seven.

I do have some basic FE info on the FB page under events, right now it is just showing the sign up date.

I'll be honest I'm not to thrilled with how FB runs its "groups" (as opposed to a regular person's wall). I thought we would all get notifications or that it would at least show up in the news feed when someone writes on the wall or adds pics, events but I guess that isn't the case. Of course I could be doing it wrong too.

How was the party, did you get a lot of LOOT? I heard the candy wasn't as good this year as in years past, and that they weren't giving as much out. Did you get a lot of chocolate? Or was it more of the lame candy like smarties and dum dums (not trying to be a hater on the smarties LOL) <---I will probably get a FE full of smarties now

Did we decide what day we are going to do the ToT? I assume 10/31 so nobody has to dress up in costumes twice....I wish DCL announced their Halloween activity info earlier than just when we get on the ship so we could figure out what time to set up our ToT. I was sneaking around on this years' Halloween cruise thread and I could be wrong but I don't think they are doing a Dis ToT..maybe one of you lucky ducks on that cruise can confirm/deny.
I'm thinking when it comes to that we will have to make an educated guess as to what time to hold it, probably mid afternoon. The only potential issue I can think of offhand (aside from conflicting with the official DCL ToT or events) is that it is a port day for us...Key West. So maybe the time between dinners/shows (the 7:00 hour) will be better, although don't they run a dance party or something up on deck at that time? Oh well, food for thought...

Seventh Cruise- Can't wait for the new gifts... missed them this year by ONE Cruise..such the shaft..

Just found out about the disboards 3 months before my last cruise in september 09~ Love it!

I have been on a disney Halloween Cruise two years ago and the part is at night on the top deck- Goofy Pool
If I remeber correctly.. we got special chocolates on our pillow that night and all of the characters we in costumes- We bought a lot of those pictures! They do encourage you to dress in coutume for the dinner. Most of all the adults were dressed up!

It was a great time!
